Please follow these safety instructions regarding children and vulnerable people:

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

• Do not let children play with the appliance.

• Keep all detergents away from children.

• Keep children and pets away from the appliance door when it is open.

• Cleaning and maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

This appliance is intended for household and similar applications, for a maximum of 8 persons.

• Do not change the specification of this appliance.

• The operating water pressure (minimum and maximum) must be between 0.01 – 1.0Mpa (0.3 – 1.0 Bar).

• The maximum number of place settings is 14.

• Put knives and cutlery with sharp points in the cutlery basket with the points down or in a horizontal position.

• Do not leave the appliance door open as it is a trip hazard.

• Before maintenance, switch off the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket.

• Do not use steam cleaners or jet washers to clean the appliance.

WARNING! Risk of fire and electric shock.

• The appliance must be earthed.

• Make sure that the electrical information on the rating plate agrees with the power supply. If not, contact an electrician.

• Do not use multi-plug adapters and extension cables.

• Avoid damage to the mains plug and mains cable. Should the mains cable need to be replaced, contact a LAMONA Authorised Service Agent or a suitably qualified person.

• Connect the mains plug only at the end of the installation. Ensure access to the mains plug after the installation.

• This appliance complies with all relevant E.U. Directives.

• The appliance has a 13amp plug. Use fuse: 13amp ASTA (BS 1362).

Follow these instructions for a cold water supply connection:

• Do not kink or damage the hoses during installation.

• Before you connect the fill hose to the appliance; let some water flow through to ensure all debris is removed.

• We suggest you connect the fill hose and open the water valve before pushing the appliance into position.

• Check for leaks during and after installation and after first use.

• If the water inlet hose is damaged, immediately close the water supply valve and disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket.

• The appliance is to be connected to the water mains using the new hose-set supplied with the appliance. Do not re-use old hose-sets.

• Do not sit or stand on the open door.

• Dishwasher detergents are hazardous. Obey the safety instructions on the detergent packaging.

• Do not drink the water from the appliance.

• Do not remove the dishes from the appliance until the programme is completed. There may be detergent on the dishes.

• The appliance may release hot water if you open the door while a programme is in operation.

• Do not put flammable products or items that are wet with flammable products in, near or on the appliance.

• Caution: If removing dishes before or immediately after the programme has ended be aware that the dishes may be hot and hot steam may be released.

Before using your dishwasher for the first time, follow these steps:

1. Check the water hardness and set the ‘salt’ level accordingly.

2. Fill the salt container (with dishwasher salt only).

3. Fill the rinse aid dispenser.

4. To remove any manufacturing residues, select and run the NORMAL 60°C programme. Use a small amount of detergent and do not load the baskets for this initial cycle.

The dishwasher has a special water softening system. To determine your water hardness level, use the provided test strip:

1. Remove the test strip from the packet.

2. Let the water flow from your tap for 1 minute.

3. Fill a glass with tap water, dip the test strip into the water, and stir it around for 1 second.

4. Take the test strip out of the water and shake it.

5. Hold the strip for 1 minute.

6. Compare the result on the test strip to the chart below to set the water hardness level of the dishwasher.

If the hardness level of the supply water is below 7°de, there is no need to use salt. If it is above 62°de or if you are using well water, it is recommended to use water purification devices and special filters.

Note: If the water hardness level adjustment is set to level 1, the “No salt warning indicator” will illuminate continuously although it is not necessary to use salt. However, if you fill the salt reservoir under this condition, salt will not be consumed and the salt indicator will not illuminate.

To set the water hardness level:

1. Switch the dishwasher On.

2. Press and hold the Programme (P) button. The display will count down 3, 2, 1.

3. Release the Programme (P) button when the display shows ‘L 1’.

4. Press the Programme (P) button to cycle through the water hardness settings (r1 to r5).

5. Select the desired setting based on your water hardness test.

6. Switch the dishwasher Off to save the new setting.

To add dishwasher salt:

1. Pour one litre of cold water into the salt container.

2. Completely fill the container with dishwasher salt.

Some water and salt may spill out. It is recommended to use a rinse programme or complete a wash cycle to remove any spilled salt and prevent possible corrosion.

Rinse aid helps dry dishes without streaks. To set the level:

1. Switch the dishwasher On.

2. Press and hold the Programme (P) button. The display will count down 3, 2, 1.

3. Release the Programme (P) button when the display shows ‘L 1’.

4. After setting the water hardness, the display will show the rinse aid setting (e.g., ‘P 3’).

5. Press the Programme (P) button to select the new rinse aid setting (P0 to P4).

6. Switch the dishwasher Off to save the new setting.

If there are stains on tableware after washing, the level must be increased. If there is a blue trace after wiping by hand, it must be decreased. The factory pre-set is level 3.

To add rinse aid, open the dispenser, pour in the rinse aid until it is full, and close the dispenser cap.

1. Scrape all food waste and debris from plates.

2. Load the dishwasher as shown in the manual, ensuring cutlery points are down in the basket.

3. Add detergent, either powder or a tablet.

4. Turn on the dishwasher and select the desired programme.

5. Check the salt and rinse aid indicators on the control panel and refill if necessary.

6. Select any additional options, like half load or tablet, as required.

7. Close the dishwasher door to start the programme.

For optimal washing performance, follow these loading guidelines:

• Ensure all items are dishwasher safe.

• Scrape all food waste and debris from plates.

• Place large or heavily soiled items in the lower basket.

• Place small, light, or delicate articles in the upper basket.

• Place forks, small and medium-sized knives, and spoons in the cutlery basket with points down.

• Place tall, narrow items in the middle of the baskets.

• Long-stemmed glasses should lean against the basket or the support shelves, not against other dishes.

• DO NOT allow tall glasses to rest against each other to avoid damage.

• Always arrange saucepans, cups, and glasses upside down.

• For the cutlery basket, you can move it as desired. Place sharp items with points down and do not allow cutlery to protrude from the sides.

Note: A fully loaded dishwasher is more economical, efficient, and better for the environment.

You can fold the shelves in the upper basket when you need more space for larger items. Simply fold them up or down as needed to accommodate different sized dishes.

The upper basket has 3 height positions.

To raise the basket:

• Hold the upper basket and pull it upwards.

• An audible click will be heard when it locks into a new position.

Note: The height adjustment may not work properly if the basket is overloaded.

To lower the basket:

• Hold the upper basket and press the adjustment handles on both sides.

• Lower the basket to the desired position.

Ensure the basket is level after any adjustment.

When using tablets:

• Place the tablet in the main container (A).

• Close the container lid (B) and ensure you hear a clicking sound.

If you are using ‘all in one tablets’, read the manufacturer’s recommendations to determine where the tablets should be placed.

Caution: Never put washing-up liquid in the dishwasher.

Detergent Residues:

Regular use of low temperature washes and/or short duration programmes can lead to a residue build-up. We recommend running a service wash at the highest temperature every 2 months with the dishwasher empty and without detergent.

When using the tablet function key, the time duration of the programme may alter.

The control panel has several buttons and indicators:

1. Power On/Off: Turns the appliance on and off.

2. Programme Selection/Programme Cancel: Press to select the desired programme. To cancel, open the door, hold for 3 seconds until 0:01 is displayed, close the door and wait 2 minutes for draining to complete.

3. Function Keys: Select ‘All in one tablet’ or ‘Half load’ options.

4. Programme Indicator: Shows the selected programme number.

5. Salt Indicator: Illuminates when the salt reservoir needs refilling.

6. Not used.

7. Start/Cancel Indicator.

8. Programme Time Indicator / Time Delay: Displays the duration of the programme or the set time delay.

9. Time Delay: Press to delay the start from 30 minutes to 24 hours.

10. Time Delay Indicator: Illuminates when a time delay is set.

11. End of Programme Indicator: Illuminates when the programme finishes.

12. Tablet Detergent Function: Illuminates when the tablet function is selected.

13. Rinse Aid Indicator: Illuminates when the rinse aid reservoir needs refilling.

To cancel a programme or time delay:

• Open the dishwasher door.

• Hold the Programme (P) button for 3 seconds (a countdown 3-2-1 will show) until 0:01 is displayed.

• Close the dishwasher door.

• Wait for 2 minutes until the draining process is completed and an audible warning is heard.

• Power the appliance Off/On and then you can re-programme it.

Yes. If you open the door while a programme is running, the dishwasher stops immediately. When you close the door, it will continue from the point of interruption.

Caution: Care must be taken when opening the door, as steam and water will escape. Water may be very hot.

If you want to add an item just after the programme has started, open the door slowly, load the item, and close the door. The dishwasher will resume operation.

The audio signal at the end of a cycle has 3 settings: ‘off, low, high’. To change the setting:

1. Switch On the dishwasher.

2. Press and hold the Programme (P) button. The display will count down 3, 2, 1.

3. Continue to hold the Programme (P) button until the audible warning setting (S…) is displayed.

4. Press the Programme (P) button to select the new audible warning setting: S 0 (off), S 1 (low), S 2 (high).

5. Switch the dishwasher Off to save the new setting.

Caution: Items may be hot.

• Let the tableware cool before you remove it from the dishwasher.

• First remove items from the lower basket, then from the upper basket.

NOTE: At the end of the programme, water may still remain on the tops of cups/bowls etc. Use a tea towel or similar to dry them.

For general cleaning, the occasional use of the ‘P0 SELF CLEAN’ programme with a dedicated machine cleaning detergent is all that is necessary to keep the dishwasher internals clean.

Caution: Always switch off the dishwasher before cleaning.

• Clean the door seal area using a neutral detergent and damp cloth.

• Clean the control panel area using a slightly damp cloth.

Caution: Do not use steam cleaners or jet washers.

If the dishwasher is not going to be used for a long period of time:

• Switch it off.

• Turn off the water supply.

• Clean it and leave the door ajar.

Regular cleaning of the filters is vital for correct operation. Clean every 2 weeks.

1. Remove the filter assembly by turning the micro/coarse filter anti-clockwise.

2. Lift the micro/coarse and main filter out together.

3. Press the two tongues on the coarse filter inwards and pull it out from the micro filter.

4. Clean all three filters (main, coarse, micro) under running tap water using a brush.

5. Replace the coarse filter into the micro filter, ensuring the marks align.

6. Replace the micro/coarse assembly into the main filter.

7. Turn the micro/coarse filter clockwise until a clicking sound is heard.

Caution: The dishwasher must not be used without filters. Incorrect repositioning will produce poor washing results.

Upper spray arms:

• Turn the nut clockwise and remove the spray arms.

• Flush away food debris under running water.

• Use a toothpick or similar to remove any stubborn food debris from the nozzles.

• Replace the spray arm and screw the nut anti-clockwise.

Lower spray arm:

• Remove the spray arm by releasing the catch and pulling it upwards.

• Flush away food debris under running water.

• Use a toothpick or similar to remove food debris.

• Replace the spray arm.

Any brand of powder, gel, and all-in-one tablets designed for household dishwashers may be used.

General Guidelines:

• Keep detergents in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children.

• Add detergent to the container before each use. Overdosing can cause scratches or leave traces of detergent.

• If using phosphate-free detergent in hard water areas, you may see white marks on dishes. This can be prevented by increasing the amount of detergent.

Two-in-one and Three-in-one Detergents:

You will get the best results by using separate detergent, rinse aid, and water-softening salt. Combined detergents contain predetermined amounts of these, so you cannot adjust them for your water hardness.

Using three-in-one detergents (detergent, salt, rinse aid):

• These will not provide the same drying performance as separate products. To increase drying, set your appliance’s rinse aid setting to “1” and add rinse aid.

• To avoid limescale, set your appliance’s water softener setting to “1” and add salt.

Using two-in-one detergents (detergent and salt):

• These do not contain rinse aid, so you must use the rinse aid setting and keep the dispenser filled.

Using two-in-one detergents (detergent and rinse aid):

• These do not contain softening salt, so you must use the softening setting and keep the water softener filled with salt.

Important Warning: If you stop using combined detergents, ensure salt and rinse aid dispensers are full, set the water hardness to the highest level and run an empty wash cycle. Then, reset the water hardness and rinse aid settings to the correct levels for your mains water.

Scratches on glassware can be caused by a water or chemical reaction, often a combination of soft/softened water and alkaline washing solutions. This can be accelerated by poor rinsing, overloading, and excessive temperature. The condition may not always be preventable. To minimise the possibility of etching, use a minimum amount of detergent, use the appropriate programme, and a rinse aid may also help.

E:01 – Not draining water.

Check the drain hose for kinks or blockages.

Internal leak – signs of water.

Turn off at water supply and mains electric. Call for a Service Engineer.

E:02 – No water supply.

Check that the water valve is on and the fill hose is not kinked.
