Your LAMONA LAM3712 oven comes with several accessories for various cooking tasks:

• Standard Tray: Used for pastries, frozen foods, and frying large pieces.

• Deep Tray: Used for pastries, frying large pieces, juicy food, or for collecting oils and fats when grilling.

• Wire Grill: Used for frying or for placing food to be baked, fried, or stewed on the desired shelf (positions 1-5).

• Wire Grill in Tray: Placing the wire grill in the shallow (standard) tray ensures that oils from grilling are collected, preventing oven contamination. Do NOT use the wire grill with the deep tray.

Placing Accessories Correctly:

• When placing the wire grill or a tray on the wire shelves, ensure the open section or the side designed for holding is on the front.

• The accessory must be secured with the stopper on the wire shelf. It should not pass over the stopper to contact the rear wall of the oven.

• The wire grill and the standard and deep trays must never contact the rear wall of the oven.

Before you use your LAMONA LAM3712 oven for the first time, follow these steps:

1. Remove all packaging materials.

2. Remove all accessories from the oven.

3. Clean the accessories you have removed with detergent, water, and a soft cleaning sponge.

4. Turn the product on for 30 minutes and then turn it off. To do this, select the highest temperature and an operating function where all heaters operate (e.g., “3D Function”). This will burn off any residues and layers from the production process.

5. Note on initial operation: Smoke and a smell may be emitted for a couple of hours. This is normal. Ensure the room is well-ventilated to remove the smoke and smell. Avoid directly inhaling the smoke and smell.

6. Wait for the oven to cool down completely.

7. Wipe the surfaces of the oven with a wet cloth or sponge and dry with a soft cloth.

After these steps, you will need to set the clock before you can begin cooking.

The time of day should always be set before using your LAMONA LAM3712. When first connected to mains power, the display will show 00:00.

1. Access the settings menu: Touch and hold the Time and settings key for 3 seconds. The display will count down (3, 2, 1) and then the settings menu will be displayed.

2. Activate the hour field: Press the control dial or touch the Time and settings key. The hour field on the clock display will start flashing.

3. Set the hour: Rotate the control dial left or right to set the correct hour.

4. Activate the minute field: Press the control dial or touch the Time and settings key again. The minute field will now flash.

5. Set the minutes: Use the control dial to set the minutes.

6. Confirm the time: Press the control dial or touch the Time and settings key to confirm the time entry. The minute field will stop flashing.

After a few seconds, the display will show the set time, and the colon (:) will flash. If there is a long-term power cut, the time will be lost and will need to be set again.

The LAMONA LAM3712 oven has an integrated cooling fan that activates automatically to cool the front of the oven and the surrounding furniture.

• The fan operates during cooking and continues to run for approximately 20-30 minutes after the oven is turned off.

• It deactivates automatically when the cooling process is complete.

• If you cook using the oven timer, the cooling fan will turn off with all other functions at the end of the cooking time.

• The running time of the fan cannot be manually set; it turns on and off automatically. This is normal operation and not a fault.

• Hot air is expelled from ventilation openings over the oven door. It is important not to cover these openings, as this could cause the oven to overheat.

For manual cooking, you control the function and temperature, and you must switch the oven off when cooking is complete.

1. Turn the oven ON: Touch the ON/OFF key.

2. Select a cooking function: The first function will be highlighted. Touch the symbol for the function you wish to use. If the function you need isn’t visible, touch the “Extra function activation” key (three horizontal lines) to display all functions, then make your selection.

3. Set the temperature: The predefined temperature for the selected function will appear. To change it, touch the Temperature key (°C). The temperature display will blink. Use the control dial to set your desired temperature.

4. Confirm the temperature: Touch the Temperature key (°C) again to confirm. The display will stop flashing.

5. Start cooking: Touch the Start/stop key (play/pause symbol). The oven will begin heating. The cooking indicator and internal temperature indicator will be displayed. The temperature indicator bar will fill up as the oven reaches the set temperature.

6. End cooking: Since no cooking time is set, the oven will not turn off automatically. Touch the Start/stop key to pause cooking, or touch the ON/OFF key to turn the oven off completely.

The timed cooking feature allows you to set the oven to turn off automatically after a specified duration.

1. Turn the oven ON and select your desired cooking function and temperature as you would for manual cooking.

2. Enter cooking time setting mode: Press the control dial or touch the Time and settings key once. The cooking time symbol (a clock with a triangle inside) will flash, and a default time (e.g., 00:30) will appear.

3. Set the cooking time: Rotate the control dial to the left or right to set the desired cooking duration. The time increases in 1-minute intervals up to 15 minutes, and then in 5-minute intervals.

4. Confirm the cooking time: Touch the Time and settings key to confirm. The cooking time symbol will stop flashing.

5. Start cooking: Touch the Start/stop key. The oven will start operating. The display will show the remaining cooking time counting down.

6. End of cooking: When the time expires, “End” will appear on the display, an audio alarm will sound for one minute, and the oven will stop heating. Touch the ON/OFF key to turn the oven off completely. If any other key is pressed, the alarm will be cancelled.

The Child Lock feature disables all touch keys and the control dial to prevent accidental changes to the oven settings.

To Activate Child Lock:

1. Touch and hold the Child lock key (key symbol).

2. The display will count down from 3, 2, 1.

3. The key lock indicator will appear on the display, confirming that the Child Lock is ON. The control panel is now locked. Any attempt to change settings will result in an audible alert.

To Deactivate Child Lock:

1. Touch and hold the Child lock key again.

2. The display will count down from 3, 2, 1.

3. The key lock indicator will disappear from the display. All touch keys and the dial will now operate as normal.

You can adjust these settings when the LAMONA LAM3712 oven is in standby mode (turned OFF).

1. Enter the settings menu: Touch and hold the Time and settings key for 3 seconds. The display will count down, and the settings indicator will appear.

2. Navigate to the desired setting: Rotate the control dial to cycle through the available settings:

• Audio Volume (B1/B2): Rotate the dial until “B1” or “B2” is displayed. Press the Time and settings key to adjust; the display will flash. Rotate the dial to select B1 (higher volume) or B2 (lower volume). Press the Time and settings key to confirm.

• Display Brightness (D1/D2/D3): Rotate the dial until “d-1”, “d-2”, or “d-3” is displayed. Press the Time and settings key to adjust; the display will flash. Rotate the dial to select your desired brightness level (D1 is lowest, D3 is brightest). Press the Time and settings key to confirm.

• Quick Pre-Heating / Booster (ON/OFF): Rotate the dial until the Quick Preheat symbol and “ON” or “OFF” appear. Press the Time and settings key to adjust; the display will flash. Rotate the dial to turn the function ON or OFF. Press the Time and settings key to confirm.

3. Save settings: After confirming your choice, the setting stops flashing. After a few seconds, the new setting is stored, and the oven returns to displaying the time.

The Pyrolytic Self-Cleaning function on your LAMONA LAM3712 heats the oven to a very high temperature (approx. 420-480 °C) to burn food residues and grease into a fine ash, which can then be easily wiped away. A strong smoke smell may be emitted, so good ventilation is required.

Before you begin:

• WARNING: Surfaces become extremely hot. Keep children away. Wait at least 30 minutes after the cycle before opening the door.

• Failure to remove accessories will result in damage. Remove ALL accessories (trays, wire grill), telescopic shelves, and side racks from the oven.

• Clean any large food deposits from the oven interior with a damp cloth.

• Do NOT clean the fibre glass door gasket; it is very sensitive and can be easily damaged.

To run a Pyrolytic cycle:

1. Turn the oven ON.

2. Access hidden functions: Touch the “Extra function activation” key (three horizontal lines) to show all functions.

3. Select Pyrolysis: Touch the Pyrolysis function key (grid of dots). The display will show “HI” and the cleaning time of 02:00. This time cannot be changed.

4. Start cleaning: Touch the Start/stop key. The cleaning cycle begins, and the time will count down.

5. Door Lock: Once the oven reaches a certain temperature, the door will automatically lock. A lock symbol will appear. Do not try to force the door open.

6. Cycle End: When finished, “End” will appear on the display. The door will remain locked until the oven has cooled sufficiently. Turn the oven OFF.

7. After Cooling: Wait at least 30 minutes. Once the lock symbol disappears, open the door and wipe away the ash residue with a damp cloth or vinegar water.

Eco Pyrolytic Self-Cleaning Function: For a lightly soiled oven, you can select the Eco Pyrolytic mode. After selecting the Pyrolysis function, touch the key again to select “ECO”. The cycle runs for a shorter time (01:30).

WARNING: The door is heavy and contains several layers of glass. Take care when handling.

Removing the Oven Door:

1. Open the oven door fully.

2. Locate the two hinge clips at the base of the door. Unlock them by pressing down on them. A screwdriver may be used if necessary.

3. Close the door to a slightly more than halfway position.

4. Carefully pull the door upwards to release it from the left and right hinge arms.

Removing the Inner Glass Panels:

1. With the door removed (or fully open), locate the plastic component at the top of the inner door.

2. Simultaneously, press inwards on the two pressure points at the ends of this plastic component to release it.

3. Pull the plastic component towards you to remove it.

4. Gently lift the innermost glass panel, then remove it from its lower glass slot by pulling it towards you. Hold the door down to prevent it from closing.

5. Repeat the same process to remove the second and third glass panels.

Re-installing the Glass and Door:

• To re-install the glass, follow the removal steps in reverse. It is crucial to slot the lower corners of all inner glass panels into the lower glass slots. The printed (dull/mat) side of the innermost glass must face towards the inside of the door.

• To reattach the door, repeat the removal procedure in reverse, ensuring you close (lock) the hinge clips at the base of the door once it is in place.

WARNING: To avoid the risk of electric shock, disconnect the appliance from the mains electrical supply and wait for the oven to cool down before replacing the light.

1. Disconnect power to the appliance from the mains supply.

2. Remove the glass cover by turning it counter-clockwise.

3. Pull the old light bulb out and replace it with a new one of the correct type (Type B: 25 W, G9, 300°C).

4. Refit the glass cover by screwing it back on clockwise.

5. Reconnect the appliance to the mains power.

Before calling for service, please check the following common issues:

• Oven emits steam when in use: This is normal; steam escaping during operation is not a fault.

• Water droplets occur during cooking: Vapour from cooking can condense on cold surfaces. This is not a fault.

• Appliance emits metal noises: Metal parts expand when heated, which can cause noises. This is not a fault.

• Product does not operate:

– Check if the mains fuse has tripped or is defective. Check the fuses in your fuse box and reset or replace if necessary.

– Ensure the appliance is correctly connected to the electrical supply.

– The Child Lock function may be enabled. Disable it.

• Oven light does not work:

– The oven light may be defective. Replace the oven light.

– Check if power has been cut. Verify power is on and check fuses.

• Oven does not heat:

– The timer may not be set correctly. Adjust the timer settings.

– Check for a power cut and check the fuses in the fuse box.

– Ensure the oven door is fully closed. If the door is open for more than 5 minutes, cooking settings will be cancelled.

• Clock display is blinking or clock symbol is ON: This indicates a previous power outage has occurred. Readjust the time.

• After cooking starts, the cooking symbol flashes constantly and the oven sounds an audible warning: The oven door may not be completely closed. Make sure the door is shut firmly.
