To avoid personal injury or death from the television set falling, please take the following simple precautions:

• ALWAYS use cabinets or stands or mounting methods recommended by Kogan.com.

• ALWAYS use furniture that can safely support the television set.

• ALWAYS ensure the television set is not overhanging the edge of the supporting furniture.

• ALWAYS educate children about the dangers of climbing on furniture to reach the television set or its controls.

• ALWAYS route cords and cables connected to your television so they cannot be tripped over, pulled or grabbed.

• NEVER place a television set in an unstable location.

• NEVER place the television set on tall furniture (for example, cupboards or bookcases) without anchoring both the furniture and the television set to a suitable support.

• NEVER place the television set on cloth or other materials that may be located between the television set and supporting furniture.

• NEVER place items that might tempt children to climb, such as toys and remote controls, on the top of the television or furniture on which the television is placed.

To prevent injury, this television set must be securely attached to the floor/wall in accordance with the installation instructions.

• To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this product to rain or moisture.

• The appliance shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing, and no objects filled with liquids, (for example, vases), shall be placed on the appliance.

• When discarding used batteries, always be mindful of the environment. Ensure you follow any guidelines for recycling and safe disposal of batteries that apply in your local area. Don’t throw used batteries in a rubbish bin.

• When installing your TV, maintain a distance of at least 10 cm between the TV and other objects (walls, cabinet sides, etc.) to ensure proper ventilation. Failing to maintain proper ventilation may result in a fire or a problem with the product caused by an increase in its internal temperature.

• No naked flame sources, such as lit candles, should be placed on the product. To prevent the spread of fire, keep candles or other open flames away from this product at all times.

• The device may malfunction when under electrostatic discharge. It can be manually resumed by switching power off completely (at wall outlet), then switching power on again.

• To avoid any injury caused by overturn of the product when installed with base stands, please always ensure the whole product is placed horizontally within the supporting surface and that the television is not overhanging the edge of the supporting furniture.

• If not using with base stands, use only a wall or ceiling mount which has been recommended by Kogan.com.

• Do not attempt to modify this product in any way without written authorization. Unauthorized modification could void the user’s authority to operate this product.

• It is not recommended to keep a certain still image displayed on the screen for a long time as well as displaying extremely bright images on screen.

• The power cord’s power plug is used as the disconnect device. Ensure it remains accessible after installation.

• Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Follow instructions for safe disposal of batteries.

The following items are not included and are required for operation:

• Phillips head screwdriver

• Antenna cable

Note: This is a general guide to inputs and ports, your TV may not feature all of the above.

Before you begin, spread cushioning flat to lay the TV on to prevent damage.

1. Attach the stands to the base of the TV, ensuring the ‘L’ and ‘R’ markings on the TV and stands match.

2. Insert one 20mm screw for each stand and use a Phillips head screwdriver (not supplied) to tighten.

1. Connect an antenna cable (not supplied) via the ‘ANT’ input port at the back of the TV.

2. Ensure the antenna cable is also connected to a working antenna, either via an antenna wall socket in your home or directly.

a. There is a film on the photovoltaic panel. Please tear it off before use. Failure to tear the film will affect the charging efficiency of the photovoltaic panel.

b. When you use it for the first time, it is recommended to charge the remote control first, and use the type C (5V/2A) charger for charging.

c. When it is not in use, please keep the remote controller face upward, so that the photovoltaic panel can charge better the remote controller.

Until your remote control is paired via Bluetooth with your TV, you will need to use it via IR (infrared). Ensure the distance between the remote control and the TV is no greater than 8 metres, at an angle of no more than 30 degrees on either side. Point the remote towards the sensor at the front of the TV. Do not block the path between the sensor and the remote control.

Turning TV On

1. Plug the power cord into a suitable power outlet. The standby light will be red, showing that the TV is receiving power.

2. Press the POWER button (on your remote or at the bottom of the TV) to turn the TV on.

3. The standby light will turn off when the TV is on.

Turning TV Off

• Press the POWER button on the remote control to enter standby mode.

• To power down the TV completely, unplug the power cord from the power outlet.

It is recommended to unplug the set from both the power outlet and aerial if you will not use the TV for a long time.

When turning the TV on for the first time, the Welcome screen will appear. Use the ^, v, and OK buttons to navigate the following options:

1. Language: Select your menu language.

2. Select TV mode: Choose ‘home mode’ for efficient usage for home use. The ‘retail mode’ is optimized for store demos. It is recommended to watch TV in HOME mode.

3. Select Wi-Fi network: The TV will automatically scan for wireless networks. Select your network and enter your password. Alternatively, you can connect an Ethernet cable to the ‘LAN’ input port on the back of the TV.

4. Use your Google Account: Sign in to your Google Account to get movies, TV shows, personalized recommendations, and control your TV with your voice.

5. Terms of Service: Accept the Google Terms of Service to proceed.

6. Search across all your TV apps: Allow Google Assistant to share your requests with your TV’s apps to find content across all services.

7. Region or Country select: Select your region or country and press [ok] to confirm.

8. Remote & accessories: Follow the onscreen prompts to pair your remote with the TV. This enables voice commands via the Google Assistant button.

9. Channel Scan: After the initial setup, the Channel Scan screen will appear. Ensure an antenna cable is connected. The auto-tuning function will search for and save all available free-to-air TV channels.

The layout and functions of the home page may change with launcher updates. The key features are:

• Dashboard: Contains user account, settings page, input source list, weather panel, image settings, and notifications.

• Text search: Enter text manually to search TV apps.

• For you: Displays application recommendations, new episodes, Top picks, and your apps.

• Live: Shows content of the TV channel recommended by Google.

• Notification: Shows advertising, new arrivals, warnings, legal statements, and system messages.

• Apps: Access the App Centre to display all installed apps. Free-to-air channels can be accessed under the “Live TV” option.

• Library: View records and manage your watch list.

In DLG working mode, the TV is compatible with 1080P 120Hz refresh rate display. To enable this feature, follow these steps:

Enter the corresponding HDMI channel –> setting –> picture –> advance video –> DLG mode.

Notes:

• 120Hz DLG is only available at a resolution up to 2K (1920×1080). 4K resolution will only support 60Hz.

• A compatible games console or PC is required. Please refer to your console or PC instructions for further information.

There are two ways to select a channel:

1. Using number buttons followed by the ok button on the remote control. For example, to select channel 5, press 5. To select channel 21, press 2 then 1 in quick succession.

2. Using the ^ P v buttons on the remote control. When you press these buttons, the TV changes channels in sequence. You will see all the channels that the TV has saved.

• To adjust the volume, press the + – buttons on the remote control.

• To increase the volume, press the + button.

• To decrease the volume, press the – button.

• To mute the sound, press the Mute button to toggle the sound on and off. To resume sound, press the Mute button again or press the + button.

You can use the Source button on your remote control to access the list of inputs from any channel or screen.

• Press the Menu button to display the quick menu.

• Press the ^/v Navigational buttons to select the desired sub-item.

• Press the ok Enter or > Navigational button to access the menu of the next level.

• Select More on the quick menu list to bring up the full settings menu.

• Press the Back button to return to the previous menu.

NOTE: If a menu item is greyed out, it is not available or cannot be adjusted. Some menu items may be hidden depending on the current modes or signal sources used.

To access the global settings menu, from the Home interface, press the > key until the Dashboard menu appears. Then, press the arrow keys to move to the Settings icon. Here you will find all adjustable options for the Google TV’s interface, connectivity, and apps.

The Quick Menu provides options for your Live TV. You can access it by pressing the Quick Menu button on your remote control and using the ^/v buttons to navigate.

• Channel scan: Search and store channels automatically.

• Channel edit: Highlight a channel to swap or skip it.

• No signal Power: Set how long the TV waits after no signal before automatically shutting down.

• Picture: Adjust the image or picture quality. Press up/down to select the “Picture Function” to adjust.

• Screen: Adjust the screen ratio (Automatic, Super zoom, 4:3, etc.).

• Sound: Locate settings for sound balance, speakers, surround sound, and more.

• Blue Mute: Control Blue Mute on/off. When on, the screen becomes blue at a no signal state.

Follow these steps to add or remove channels from your Favourite list:

1. Press [OK] to open the “Channel list” menu.

2. Press [>] to select ‘Add to Favorites’.

3. Press the [OK] key and select one of the favorite lists (Favourite 1 ~ 5) to add the current show under.

4. To cancel a favorite program, press the OK key again when you enter the ‘Add to’ menu.

You will need a media player app installed from the Google Play store. To access media playback mode, insert a USB drive with your media files into the TV’s USB input port. Then, from the Home page, select your preferred media player app. The following file types are supported:

The TV’s USB port can also read from devices like digital cameras and USB hard disks. Recordings saved in PVR mode are also playable.

• ok: Confirm / Play / Pause

• < / >: Navigation / Skip backward & forward. Hold to skip to start & end.

• ^ / v: Navigation

• Back: Back to previous menu

Note: A wall mount kit is not included. The steps below are an optional alternative to the supplied base-mounts. Only use wall-mounts that match the same size screws and fittings as those listed.

a. Measure and double-check the distance of the threaded holes on the back panel of the TV before creating any holes in the wall.

b. Use M6 screws (C) to attach shaft sleeves (B) within the four threaded holes on the back panel of the TV.

c. Use a mounting bracket (A) as a guide to mark the positions for the four holes on the wall with a pencil.

d. Using a drill, create holes in the marked positions on the wall.

e. Insert the four M6 wall anchors (E) into the screw holes in the wall.

f. Place the mounting brackets against the wall, aligned with the wall anchors, ensuring the directional arrow is facing upwards.

g. Fix the mounting brackets with the self-tapping screws.

h. Attach the TV to the mounting brackets by placing all four shaft sleeves into the larger openings of the brackets, then lowering the TV so that the shaft sleeves “lock” into place within the brackets.

It is recommended that two people perform step ‘h’ together to ensure the sleeves are properly aligned before the TV is lowered onto the brackets.

Step 1

Align the bolts with the screw holes on the rear of the TV and screw it in partially.

Step 2

Attach the bolts to the wall and allow some space for securing the steel wire.

Step 3

Secure the TV by wrapping the steel wire around the bolts in the wall and the rear of the TV.

• Make sure the program itself is broadcast in colour.

• Select the picture menu, then adjust the colour and tint submenus.

• Check the direction, location, and connections to your antenna.

• Issues may be caused by the use of an indoor antenna (poor signal).

• Remote is out of range, move closer to the TV.

• Remove any obstructions between the remote and the IR sensor of the TV.

• Make sure the power cord to your TV is plugged in and turned on.

Adjust the horizontal and vertical position in the settings.

• Test the device with a different HDMI cable.

• Plug the device into another HDMI port.

• Try a different device connected to the same cable and port.

• Perform a factory reset on your TV.

To perform a hard reset, or power cycle, please use the following steps:

1. Unplug it from the main power socket and leave it for 10-15 minutes.

2. Press and hold the power button on the TV for 5 seconds.

3. Connect the TV back to the power and turn it on.

• Try a different channel.

• Adjust the antenna.

• Check all connections.

• Try another channel.

• Press the TV/AV button.

• Make sure the TV is plugged in.

• Check the antenna connection.

• Check the volume settings on any external speakers connected to your television.

• Adjust the TV volume accordingly.

• Check another channel or input.

• Check that MUTE hasn’t been turned on.

Check all connections.

Unplug the television from the power supply before cleaning. Do not use any liquid cleaners or harsh chemicals. Always use a soft, damp cloth.

Cleaning the screen

Wet a soft cloth in a mixture of lukewarm water and a little fabric softener or dish washing detergent. Wring the cloth until it’s almost dry, and then use it to wipe the screen.

Make sure the excess water is off the screen, and then let it air-dry before you turn on your TV.

Cleaning the casing

To remove dirt or dust, wipe the TV casing with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Please be sure not to use a wet cloth.
