How do I install the JBC FAE1-1K1C Fume Extractor Kit?
To install the JBC FAE1-1K1C Fume Extractor Kit for one workbench, follow these assembly steps:
1. Attach the FAE070 Flexible Arm with Clamp to the side of your workbench.
2. Connect one end of the FAE010 Flexible Hose to the base of the FAE070 Flexible Arm.
3. Connect the other end of the FAE010 Flexible Hose to the inlet port on the top of the FAE1 Fume Extractor unit.
4. If you are using the pedal, connect the P405 Pedal to the appropriate port on the FAE1 Fume Extractor unit.
How do I connect the JBC FAE1-1K1C to other JBC stations?
There are different connection methods for the JBC FAE1-1K1C depending on the station model and version:
For Modular control units and Compact stations from version “F” onwards:
Use the included RJ12 Connection Cable (ref. 0019751). This cable is required to connect these units to the FAE1 Fume Extractor.
For Compact stations with version “E” and previous ones:
Use the included USB Connection Cable (USB-A to USB-B, ref. 0021042) along with the Station Connection Adapter (RJ12 to USB-A, ref. 0023504). Both the cable and the adapter are required to connect these older stations to the FAE1 Fume Extractor.
