Use the power button to turn the Solar Rocker on or off. While the Solar Rocker is connected to a power source, it does not need to be powered on to charge the battery. When the power is on, the display will show the power indicator.
How do I disconnect a paired Bluetooth device?
Press the Bluetooth button to disconnect a paired Bluetooth device.
How do I select how the lights on the front panel function?
Press the Light Mode button to select different light modes: White, Color Cycle, Beat Sync, or Off. Press and hold the light mode button to freeze the lights on one color.
How do I set the radio to AM or FM?
Use the Radio Selector button to set the radio to AM, FM, or turn the radio off.
How do I store a favorite radio station?
- Select either the AM or FM band and then use the Tune/Track Buttons to select the desired radio station.

The display shows the current radio station, battery status, and Bluetooth status.
How do I know if the battery is charging?
When the power cable is connected, movement of the top battery segment shows the battery is charging. When fully charged, all battery segments will be lit without blinking.

When the power cable is disconnected, the battery segment shows the level of the battery. If a front panel button is not pressed within 60 seconds, the battery level indicator will turn off (to save energy). The battery level indicator will reappear when any button is pressed. Also, when the battery gets to the lowest battery icon segment, the battery level indicator will turn back on.
How do I know if the solar panel is charging the battery?
When the solar panel is receiving enough sunlight to activate charging, the solar icon will illuminate.
How do I know if the unit is connected to wall power?
The lightning bolt icon will illuminate when the IEC power cable is connected to wall power.
How do I know if a device is paired to the Solar Rocker via Bluetooth?
The Bluetooth icon will be lit solid when a device is paired to Solar Rocker.

Use the Master Volume Control to adjust the speaker’s main mix volume, which includes the Microphone Input, Auxiliary Input, Radio, and the audio of a paired Bluetooth device.
What can I connect to the Microphone Input?
This mono input accepts a 1/4” (6.35 mm) input such as a microphone, guitar, or other musical instrument.
What can I connect to the Auxiliary Input?
This stereo 1/8” (3.5 mm) input can be used to connect a CD player, MP3 player, or other audio source.
How do I use the USB Charging Ports?
Connect your device’s charge cable here to charge it. USB charging only functions when the unit’s power is turned on. To charge smartphones and tablets faster, put the device’s screen to sleep.
How do I charge the battery with the solar panel?
Place Solar Rocker in sunlight to charge the battery using the solar panel. When the unit is receiving enough sunlight to activate charging, the Solar Icon will illuminate in the Display. The rate of charging depends on the amount of sunlight the solar panel receives. The unit will charge slower when receiving indirect sunlight. Place Solar Rocker in direct sunlight for best results.
How do I charge the battery with the power cable?
Insert the included power cable into the Power Cable Input on the back of the unit. The battery will still charge while the unit is in use.
How do I pair a Bluetooth device?
- Turn on your Bluetooth device.
- Power on Solar Rocker. If you have previously connected to another Bluetooth device, Solar Rocker will reconnect. To disconnect pairing if the Bluetooth icon is lit solid, press and release the Bluetooth button.
- Navigate to your Bluetooth device’s setup screen, find “Solar Rocker” and connect. Note: If your Bluetooth device prompts for a pairing code, enter “0000”.

This is probably feedback. Point the microphone away from the speaker.

What are some recommendations for getting the longest life from the internal battery?
Fully charge the battery before using it and after each use. Do not store at exceedingly hot (greater than 90°F/32°C) or exceedingly cold (less than 32°F/0°C) temperatures. It is acceptable to leave the system plugged in. If the battery is left at a low level without being charged for 6 months, it may permanently lose capacity.
