Before using the INTIMINA ZIGGY CUP 2 for the first time, fully submerge the cup in boiling water for 5 to 8 minutes. Ensure you do not boil the pot dry. You should also thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water before handling the cup.

Because the INTIMINA ZIGGY CUP 2 fits perfectly below the cervix to collect flow, it is recommended to first find your cervix by inserting a clean finger into your vagina. Your cervix should feel similar to touching the tip of your nose.

Step 1. Locate the back rim of the cup and hold this end closest to you.

Step 2. Use your thumb and forefinger to squeeze the sides of the rim together to form a figure 8 shape.

You can wear the INTIMINA ZIGGY CUP 2 for up to 8 hours. It is recommended that you empty the cup 3 to 4 times per 24-hour period, or more frequently for heavier flows.

TSS is a rare but serious and potentially fatal disease linked to high absorbency and prolonged use of tampons. Symptoms can include sudden high fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, dizziness, fainting, and a rash like sunburn. If you experience these signs while using the INTIMINA ZIGGY CUP 2, remove it and contact a doctor immediately.

Women who have previously experienced TSS should not use any form of internal protection, including menstrual cups. The INTIMINA ZIGGY CUP 2 is intended for use during menstruation only. Always clean your hands and the cup thoroughly before and after use.
