The HYGGER HG205-3 aquarium light includes the following features:

A. Unpack the box and check that the light and other accessories are included. If any parts are missing, please contact the seller.

B. Place the tube in the proper position of the fish tank and fix it with the suction cups. The light can be used in several ways:

• For a single large tank.

• For multiple tanks (up to 3).

• Attached to the top of the tank cover.

First, power on the unit and turn on the switch. Press the Power button to turn on the light. Long-press the same button to turn it off. To set the standard lighting mode, follow these steps:

1. Set the light color: Press the Color button to choose the light color you want. The cycle is: white → red → blue → green → purple → orange → cyan → Color Changing Loop. Please note, if the light is in the cycling mode (light color keeps changing), you can only change the timer, not the brightness.

2. Activate full-spectrum light (optional): Press the Power button twice, and the light becomes 100% full-spectrum light.

3. Set the timer: Press the TIMER button to select the lighting time: 6H, 10H, 12H, or No timer.

• Press once for 6 hours: The indicator light on the top of the timer button turns on red.

• Press twice for 10 hours: The indicator light flashes green.

• Press three times for 12 hours: The indicator light flashes blue.

For example, if you choose 10H at 9am, this light will be automatically turned on at 9:00 am and turn off at 7:00 pm every day.

4. Adjust the brightness: Press the Brightness button to adjust the brightness from 1 to 9 levels (10%-25%-50%-75%-100%-75%-50%-25%-10%).

Once the lighting mode is set up, the light will slowly ramp up and down in 15 minutes on the following day.

The 24/7 lighting mode creates a natural light cycle. The light will slowly wake up your fish by emitting dim orange light at dawn, emit bright full spectrum light during the day, and blue light at night. Once set, the light will automatically turn on and off at the same time every day. In this mode, the light color and intensity cannot be changed.

To set this mode, press the 24/7 button to choose the local time range. The indicator light at the top of the hour indicates the current time range.

• Press once to choose 8:00, the indicator light is red.

• Press twice to choose 10:00, the indicator light is green.

• Press three times to choose 12:00, the indicator light is blue.

• Press four times to choose 15:00, the indicator light is red.

• Press five times to choose 18:00, the indicator light is green.

• Press six times to choose 22:00, the indicator light is blue.

The light will then run the setting by itself.

Rules:

1. When you press the 24/7 button at 8:00, 10:00, 12:00, 15:00, 18:00, or 22:00, the light will turn off at 22:50 and turn on at 06:00 the next day.

2. If you set the timer to a time earlier than the actual time, it will turn off and on earlier. For example, if you choose the 18:00 setting at 17:00, the light will turn off at 21:50 and turn on at 05:00 the next day.

3. If you set the timer to a time later than the actual time, it will turn off and on later. For example, if you choose the 18:00 setting at 19:00, the light will turn off at 23:50 and turn on at 07:00 at the next day.

NOTE:

1. This 24/7 light mode works from 6:00 am to 10:50 pm every day.

2. The timer cannot be programmed during 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.

3. The light has no memory function. When the power is reconnected, the timer will restore to 6 o’clock, and you have to reset the light.

WARNING:

To avoid possible electrical shock, do not immerse the switch in water. If the switch falls into the water, or otherwise becomes wet, do not touch it until you have unplugged it. Basic safety precautions should be observed including reading and following this user manual strictly.

To avoid possible electric shock, special care should be taken. For each of the following situations, do not attempt to repair yourself; return the light to an authorized service facility for service or discard the light.

A. If the light falls into the water, DO NOT touch it. First unplug it, then retrieve it. If electrical components of the light get wet, unplug it immediately.

B. Carefully examine the light after installation. It should not be plugged in if there is water on parts not intended to be wet.

C. Do not operate the light if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is malfunctioning or if it is dropped or damaged in any manner. The power cord of this light cannot be replaced; if the cord is damaged, the light should be discarded.

To avoid the possibility of the light plug getting wet, position the aquarium stand and tank to one side of a wall mounted receptacle to prevent water from dripping onto the receptacle or plug. A “drip loop” should be arranged by the user for each cord connecting the light to the receptacle.

The “drip loop” is the part of the cord below the level of the receptacle, or the connector. If an extension cord is used, this will prevent water traveling along the cord and coming in contact with the receptacle.

If the plug or receptacle does get wet, DO NOT unplug the cord. Disconnect the fuse to the circuit breaker that supplies power to the light. Then unplug and examine for the presence of water in the receptacle.

1. Close supervision is necessary when the light is used near children.

2. To avoid injury, do not touch moving or hot parts.

3. Make sure the light is securely installed before operating it.

4. Read and observe all the important notices on the light.

5. If an extension cord is necessary, a cord with a proper rating should be used. A cord rated for less amperes or watts than the appliance rating may overheat. Care should be taken to arrange the cord so that it will not be tripped over or pulled.

6. The light is intended FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY.

7. SAVE THIS USER MANUAL.
