If your existing television set is being retained or relocated, the same considerations as above should be applied.

Read and follow all safety and operating instructions, and retain them safely for future reference.

Adhere to all warnings on the appliance and in the operating instructions.

Unplug the TV from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid, abrasive, or aerosol cleaners. Cleaners can permanently damage the cabinet and screen. Use a lightly dampened cloth for cleaning.

Avoid dripping or splashing of liquids onto the product. Objects filled with liquids, such as vases, should not be placed above the product.

Do not place this TV on an unstable cart, stand or table. Placing the TV on an unstable base can cause the TV to fall, resulting in serious personal injuries as well as damage to the TV. Use only a cart, stand, bracket or table recommended by the manufacturer or salesperson.

Slots and openings in the cabinet are provided for ventilation, to ensure reliable operation of the TV and to protect it from overheating. Do not cover the ventilation openings in the cabinet and never place the set in a confined space such as built-in cabinet unless proper ventilation is provided. Leave a minimum 10cm gap all around the unit, the rear of the TV should be 6cm away from the wall.

This TV should be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label. If you are not sure of the type of power supplied to your home, consult your appliance dealer or local power company.

Power-supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against them, paying particular attention to cords at plug, wall outlets, and the point where they exit from the TV. The MAIN plug on the power cord is used as the disconnect device; the disconnect device and socket-outlet shall be easily accessible.

For added protection for this TV during a lightning storm, or when it is left unattended and unused for long periods of time, unplug it from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna or cable system. This will prevent damage to the TV due to lightning or power-line surge.

An outside antenna system should not be located in the vicinity of overhead power lines or other electric light or power circuits, or where it can fall into such power lines or circuits. Where installing an outside antenna system, extreme care should be taken to keep from touching such power lines or circuits as contact with them might be fatal.

If an outside antenna or cable system is connected to the TV, be sure the antenna or cable system is grounded so as to provide some protection against voltage surges and built-up static charges.

Do not overload wall outlets and extension cords as this can result in a risk of fire or electric shock.

Never push objects of any kind into this TV through openings as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short-out parts that could result in fire or electric shock. Never spill liquid of any kind on or into the TV.

Do not attempt to service this TV yourself as opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.

Unplug the TV from the wall outlet and refer servicing to qualified service personnel under the following conditions:

When the power-supply cord or plug is damaged.

If liquid has been spilled, or objects have fallen into the TV.

If the TV has been exposed to rain or water.

If the TV does not operate normally by following the operating instructions. Adjust only those controls that are covered by the operating instructions as an improper adjustment of other controls may result in damage and will often require extensive work by a qualified technician to restore the TV to its normal operation.

If the TV has been dropped or the cabinet has been damaged.

When the TV exhibits a distinct change in performance – this indicates a need for service.

When replacement parts are required, be sure the service technician has used replacement parts specified by the manufacturer or have the same characteristics as the original part. Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire, electric shock or other hazards.

Upon completion of any service or repair to the TV, ask the service technician to perform safety checks to determine that the TV is in safe operating condition.

The product should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other products (including amplifiers) that produce heat.

The product should be situated away from naked flame sources such as lighted candle.

The TV smells of plastic is normal and will dissipate over time.

Do not mix and use new batteries with old batteries, or batteries with different types. Do not expose batteries to heat such as direct sunlight or fire. Make sure the batteries’ positive and negative ends are facing the correct direction.

The device should not be exposed to dripping and spraying and it cannot be placed under objects filled with liquids.

To fully disconnect the TV, remove power plug from wall socket. Be sure to have the wall socket and power plug readily accessible.

AC voltage: This symbol indicates that the rated voltage marked with the symbol is AC voltage.

Class II product: This symbol indicates that it does not require a safety connection of protective earthing (ground).

Be sure to disconnect the AC power cord before installing a stand or wall mount brackets.

The display on your TV is fragile. Make sure the TV screen is not scratched or damaged by hard objects or from pressure.

After the installation is completed, make sure the TV is steady on a table or firmly attached to a wall mount, before removing all protective film, if any.

Carefully place your TV face-up on a soft, flat surface to prevent damage to the TV or scratching to the screen.

Take out the 2 base stands, then insert the stands into the bottom slots of the TV.

Secure the base stands to the TV with the 4 screws in accessory tightly.

Take out the 2 stands from the accessory bag and then insert the stands into the bottom slots of the TV.

Secure the stands to the TV with the 4 screws (75″) / 6 screws (85″) in accessory tightly.

Note: If your table is long enough to place the TV on top of, then insert the stands into the screw holes ‘A’ that are shown in the illustration. If your table is NOT long enough, then insert the stands into the screw holes ‘B’ that are shown in the illustration. Note that these two installation methods cannot be mixed.

When mounting the TV on a wall, follow instructions provided with the wall mount bracket. If it is not correctly mounted, the TV may fall and cause property damage or personal injury.

Place spacers between the TV and bracket. Standard dimensions are shown below.

We do not recommend hanging the TV on a slanted wall, and when wall mounting make sure your television remains parallel to the wall and does not lean forward.

The diameter and length of the screws differ depending on the wall mount bracket model.

Wall mount bracket is optional, your device may not have wall mount bracket, please refer to the actual accessories.

Fix A part of P-Clip to the screw hole on the back of TV set with an M6×12 screw.

Select a suitable hole of P-Clip on B part and fix it to the wall or pillar with a ST4×25 screw.

Fix the larger side of P-Clip to the screw hole on the back of TV set with an M8×30 screw.

Fix the other side of P-Clip to the wall or pillar.

Insecure installation may cause the tilt or falling of the product, and further lead to personal injuries or product damages. If the method above cannot fix the product, please consult the manufacturers.

P-clip and corresponding screws may not be included with the TV set; please purchase them by yourself if necessary.

Check the jacks for position and type before making any connections. Loose connections can result in image or colour problems. Make sure that all connections are tight and secure.

Not all A/V devices have the ability to connect to a TV, please refer to the user’s manual of your A/V device for compatibility and connections procedure.

Before connecting external equipment, remove the mains plug from the wall socket. Otherwise, it may cause electric shock.

Powering on the TV requires several seconds to load programmes. Do not rapidly turn the TV off as it may cause the TV work abnormally.

Before using Hands-Free Wake-up, connect your TV to the network. The Hands-Free Wake-up and some of its features are available on limited country/region/language.

When connecting a hard disk or a USB hub, always connect the mains adapter of the connected device to the power supply. If a USB 1.1 or USB2.0 device requires more than 500mA or 5V, the USB device may not be supported. Max supported current for USB 3.0 device is 1A (only for some models). Exceeding the max supported current may result in damage or data loss.

Certain digital cameras may not be compatible with the TV.

Excessive sound pressure from earphones and headphones can cause hearing loss.

The location and names of the terminals on the TV may vary according to TV model, and not all terminals available on all models.

Connect your TV to your network by connecting the LAN port on the back of your TV to an external modem or router using a LAN (Ethernet/Cat 5) cable.

It is recommended to use a modem or router that supports Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP). Modems and routers that support DHCP automatically provide the IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS, so you don’t have to enter them manually. Most home networks already have DHCP.

To connect your TV to your network wirelessly, you need a wireless router or modem.

The built-in Wireless LAN Adapter supports the IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac communication protocols. It is recommended to use an IEEE 802.11ac router. Low transfer rates for b/g may have an influence on the quality of streamed videos and other media.

You must use the built-in Wireless LAN Adapter to use a wireless network because the set doesn’t support external USB network adapters.

If the wireless router supports DHCP, your TV can connect more easily to the wireless network.

If you apply a security system other than the systems listed below, it will not work with the TV. Security system: WPA, WEP, WPA2.

In order to guarantee a smooth network, the distance between the router and TV should be less than 10 metres.

Power on/Standby: Turns the TV on or puts it in standby.

Select input sources: Allows selection of different input sources.

Quick access buttons to apps: Provides quick access to applications.

Special function buttons: Offers specific functions.

Quick setup: Accesses quick setup menu.

Activate the microphone: Activates the voice input function.

Playpad keys: Controls media playback.

Navigation buttons (Up/Down/Left/Right): Navigates menus and selections.

OK / Display the on-screen keyboard: Confirms selection or brings up the keyboard.

Exit the menu or exit the application: Returns to the previous place or exits current screen.

Display subtitles in Live TV: Shows subtitles if available.

Display the Home screen: Navigates to the Home screen.

Volume (up/down): Adjusts the volume level.

Channel (up/down): Changes channels.

Mute and restore sound: Mutes or unmutes the audio.

Select a channel or input numbers: Enters channel or input numbers.

Display the Electronic Program Guide (DTV mode) / Display the Channel List on the screen (long press): Shows program guide or channel list.

Display the current program information: Shows details about the current program.

The included remote control will vary depending on model, country/region. Check information according to the actual remote control in the accessory bag.

Slide the back cover to open the battery compartment of the remote control.

Insert two AAA size batteries. Make sure to match the (+) and (-) ends of the batteries with the (+) and (-) ends indicated in the battery compartment.

Close the battery compartment with the cover.

Battery chemicals can cause a rash. If the batteries leak, clean the battery compartment with a cloth. If chemicals touch your skin, wash immediately.

Risk of fire or explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type.

Disposal of a battery into fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting of a battery, can result in an explosion.

A battery subjected to extremely low air pressure may result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.

Pair the remote to the TV after you power it on. Keep the remote control within 3 metres from the TV. Press any button (except power and mic button) to pair.

In special cases, press and hold the Quick Setup button to pair.

If an unknown error occurred with the remote, then it could have been caused by interference. Try to remove what’s causing the interference and pair it again.

If an unknown error occurred in the remote control while the battery power is normal, you can take out the batteries, press any key for 1~2 seconds, and insert them back. Then the remote control will work normally.

The remote cannot be paired to the TV while the TV is in standby mode.

The remote control can work at a distance of up to 8 metres in front of the TV set.

The remote control angle: taking the remote sensor as an apex, 6 metres away, its controlled horizontal angle is within ±30°, while the vertical angle is within ±15°.

The operating distance may vary depending on the brightness of the room.

Product should not be damaged, dismantled or thrown in municipal waste. It should be packed and handed over to an authorised re-cycler.

First ensure the TV is connected to the internet and an antenna system. Then when you’re watching TV, you’ll briefly see a prompt at the top left of the screen. Press the ‘Green’ button on your remote to launch Freeview Plus.
