How do I connect the drain hose?
Connection options:
1. **To a sink:** Hang the drain hose over the edge of a sink using the U-support bracket provided. Ensure the U-support is secured sufficiently to prevent slipping.
2. **To a standpipe:** The internal diameter of the standpipe (with vent-hole) must be at least 40 mm. Insert the drain hose 60-100 mm into the pipe. Attach the U-support to the hose and secure it (e.g., with a tie) to prevent it from slipping out of the pipe.
3. **To a sink spigot:** Connect the drain hose to the under-sink spigot. The connection point must be above the siphon trap. If the spigot is closed by a blanking pad (A), this must be removed first. Secure the drain hose to the spigot with a clamp.
CAUTION:
– The drain hose should not be submerged in water.
– Ensure the connection is securely fixed and leak-free.
– If the hose is placed on the ground or the discharge point is less than 60 cm high, the machine may continuously drain while filling (self-siphoning).
– Do not extend the drain hose. If a longer hose is needed, contact customer service.
What should I check before making the electrical connection?
– The power supply, socket, and fusing are appropriate for the details on the rating plate.
– The power socket is properly earthed (grounded).
– No multi-plug adapters or extension cords are used.
– The power plug and socket match fully.
