How do I assemble the GTECH SW02?
To assemble your GTECH SW02, please follow these steps:
1. To assemble the lower handle, pull out the locking clip.
2. Place the lower handle into the socket.
3. Push the locking clip back into place. Push the handle forward.
4. The three parts of the telescopic handle also click into place.
5. The duster can be clipped onto the back of the handle.
How do I operate the GTECH SW02?
Pull back the handle and press the “on” button with your foot to start the GTECH SW02.
Normal operation: Push the sweeper flat over the floor.
Deeper cleaning: Lift the handle to lower the brush bar into the carpet.
What do the indicator lights on the GTECH SW02 mean during operation?
When the GTECH SW02 is running, the indicator light shows the charge level:
Green: Full charge
Orange: 20% charge remaining
Red: 10% charge remaining
When the sweeper needs recharging, the light will flash red and the sweeper will stop.
How do I empty the bin on the GTECH SW02?
Remove the dust tray by pinching the window slightly and pulling it out. Tip the dirt into the bin. If needed, you can wipe the tray clean with a dry cloth.
How do I use the duster attachment with the GTECH SW02 handle?
Remove the telescopic handle by pressing the button at the front of the lower handle and pulling the tube out. The telescopic handle can now be attached to the duster for use.
How do I use the GTECH SW02 for handheld stair cleaning?
1. Remove the visor by unclipping the bottom outer edges at the same time and then lifting it off.
2. Push the lower handle fully forward.
3. Use on stairs, starting at the top and front of each step, then moving down and towards you.
How do I clear hair and debris from the brush bar on the GTECH SW02?
From time to time, you may need to remove hair and thread from the brush bar. To do this, take off the visor and use a pair of scissors to remove the hair.
What should I do if the brush bar on my GTECH SW02 jams?
If the brush bar jams during use, the GTECH SW02 will stop and the LED will flash orange. The product will not restart until the LED stops flashing, which takes ten seconds. Clear any debris from the brush bar before restarting.
What is the proper way to carry the GTECH SW02?
Try to avoid carrying the sweeper ‘nose down’ as this may cause dirt to spill from the dust tray.
How do I recharge the battery on the GTECH SW02?
Plug in the charger and connect the jack to the socket at the rear of the sweeper. A full recharge will take 6 hours. Do not charge for longer than 24 hours. Once the battery is fully charged, switch the charger off at the mains. This will optimise the battery life.
What do the indicator lights on the GTECH SW02 mean during charging?
The LED shows the charging status:

1. Locate the battery cover on the underside of the sweeper and lift it off.

Your GTECH SW02 doesn’t need much maintenance. Follow these care instructions:
• Empty the dust tray regularly.
• Remove hair and fibre from the brush bar and edge wheel.
• Charge the battery as needed.

• Never wash the sweeper with liquid or run it under a tap.

• This appliance has been designed for domestic dry sweeping only.

• Some surfaces such as delicate loose-pile rugs or carpets, tasselled rug edges or damaged carpets with exposed threads are not suitable for cleaning with a rotary brush.
• Never leave the cleaning head in one spot for an extended period of time as this may damage the floor surface.
• For hard flooring, check that the area being cleaned is free of any hard debris or objects that could damage the flooring if caught underneath the product.
