3. Overloading: The drum has a capacity of 13 lbs. For best results, load it to only 2/3 of its capacity. Overloading reduces air flow and increases drying time.

4. Over Drying:

A) Condensing Dry: Moisture remains in the machine. Clothes may feel damp (like dew) but will dry within a few minutes after being taken out. Do not over dry.

B) Venting Dry: This mode uses hot air to dry clothes.

5. Use High Efficiency (HE) Detergent: Using HE detergent prevents suds from entering and clogging the condensing chamber and fan blower, which maintains drying efficiency.

6. Sorting: Consider the quantity and type of fabric. Highly absorbent items like towels and jeans absorb more water. If clothes are taking longer to dry, you may be overloading the machine or washing too many absorbent items at once.

1. The unit must be installed on a strong, level surface in a protected, dry, and well-ventilated area with a power and water supply of sufficient capacity and a nearby outlet.

2. Installation on carpet or wood can increase vibrations.

– Carpets: Place on light carpet only.

– Wood: Brace the floor with screws and place additional sheets of plywood before installation.

3. Installation and grounding should be done by a qualified installer in accordance with local codes.

4. The unit should be plugged into a properly grounded three (3) prong 110V/60Hz electrical outlet with a minimum of 15 Amps. It should not be controlled by a wall switch or pull cord.

1. Remove all packing materials. Keep them out of reach of children.

2. The inside of the washer-dryer has a free-floating drum secured by shipping rods at the back of the cabinet. These must be removed before use.

3. Remove the shipping rods to access the power cord.

4. Close the holes left by the rods with the provided caps and reinstall the screws.

5. It is crucial for the machine to be perfectly level. Use the adjustable feet to level the machine before use. Loosen the lock nut (1) and turn the foot (2) to raise or lower the machine. Tighten the lock nut once level.

Connecting to the Water Faucet:

1. Connect the straight end of the hot-water hose to the hot-water faucet.

2. Connect the straight end of the cold-water hose to the cold-water faucet.

3. Connect the L-shaped end of the hot-water hose to the inlet valve marked “H” on the back of the machine.

4. Connect the L-shaped end of the cold-water hose to the inlet valve marked “C” on the back of the machine.

Connecting the Drain Hose:

1. Connect the drain hose to a drain duct (with an internal diameter of at least 1.6 inches) or place it for drainage into a sink or tub, ensuring there are no kinks or bends.

2. The free end of the hose must be at a height between a minimum of 24 inches and a maximum of 40 inches from the floor.

3. Use the black plastic clamp on the upper part of the back panel to hold the hose in place.

4. If draining into a sink, attach the hose to the U-Connector and hook it over the side of the sink or standpipe.

5. When water is draining, check that the water flow out of the hose is adequate.

1. Ensure the metal vent cap is installed on the exhaust fan at the back of the unit.

2. Press the “Dry Only” button to set the machine to a drying cycle.

3. Hold the venting/condensing button for 5 seconds.

4. The condensing symbol will appear on the screen, confirming the machine is in condensing mode.

5. Press start to run the dryer in condensing mode.

Note: Condensing dry uses cold water to dry the clothes. Please ensure the cold water faucet is open during the condensing dry mode. Slight condensation can occur at the soap dispenser and will evaporate; this is normal.

1. Ensure the metal vent cap on the exhaust fan at the back of the unit is removed.

2. Press the “Dry Only” button to set the machine to a drying cycle.

3. Hold the venting/condensing button for 5 seconds.

4. The venting symbol will appear on the screen, confirming the machine is in venting mode.

5. Press start to run the dryer in venting mode.

Connecting the dryer vent duct:

The venting function requires a standard 4″ vent hose to be installed to vent the moist hot air out of the unit.

1. The vent hose adapter provided with the machine needs to be installed on the exhaust fan.

2. Attach the vent hose to the vent hose adapter.

Important: The machine must be exhausted outdoors when operated in venting mode. Use only metallic duct (rigid or flexible). Never terminate the exhaust in a chimney, range hood, gas vent, floor, or attic. In Vent Dry mode, the exhaust fan and exhaust duct should be cleaned once a year.

The installation spacing is in inches and is the minimum acceptable.

– Minimum clearances between the dryer cabinet and adjacent walls are: 2″ on either side and 3″ front and rear.

– Minimum vertical space from the floor to overhead cabinets is 52″ (132 cm).

– A closet door must be louvered or otherwise ventilated and must contain a minimum of 60 sq. in. of open area equally distributed. If the closet contains both a washer and a dryer, doors must contain a minimum of 120 sq. in. of open area.

– If a door is installed, it must allow for a minimum of 20 square inches of free air movement. There must also be a 1″ space in front of the unit to the closed door and 1″ from the back of the unit to the wall.

– Additional clearances for wall, door, and floor molding may be required.

– Additional space is needed when an external exhaust elbow is used for venting.

To make the machine ADA compliant, use a 1.5″ height platform under the unit. The display should be at a height of 25.5″ and the door opening at 15″.

Refresh – 12-minute cycle blowing hot air onto the clothes.

Time Dry 60 – 60-minute dry cycle.

3. OTHER CYCLES

Rinse/Spin – Rinse + spin cycle.

Drain only – Drain water from the machine.

Self clean – 9-minute cycle to clean the inner drum and tub of the machine.

Winterize – 2-minute cycle to winterize your appliance.

1. Ensure the machine is turned off (Power Indicator light should be off).

2. Separate clothes by type, color, and degree of soiling. For small items like socks, use a Washing Net Bag.

3. Load clothes loosely into the drum. If washing only, you can fill the drum. If washing and then drying, do not load more than 2/3 full.

4. Close the door until you hear a click.

5. Add about 1 tablespoon of High Efficiency (HE) detergent to Dispenser A (for main wash). You can add fabric softener to Dispenser B and pre-wash detergent to Dispenser C. The blue cups are for liquid detergent only.

Detergent Dispenser Guide:

– Dispenser A: Detergent for main wash

– Dispenser B: Fabric softener

– Dispenser C: Detergent for pre-wash

Note: Concentrated fabric softener must be diluted with a little water before being poured into the dispenser to prevent clogging.

1. Wash & Dry: To select Wash & Dry cycle together.

2. Wash Only: To select Wash cycle only.

3. Dry Only: To select Dry cycle only.

4. Color LED Display: Displays the selected program, water selection, spin speed, remaining time, rinse times, water level, and error messages.

5. Venting/Condensing selection button: Press for 5 seconds to select either the venting dry cycle or the condensing dry cycle. The default is condensing.

6. Delay Start button: Press to select a delay time from 1 to 24 hours before the wash cycle starts. Press for 5 seconds to turn the chime on or off.

7. Dry Level button: Press to select the dry level for a Sensor Dry cycle. The default is Normal; you can also select Extra, Low, or Damp Dry.

8. Program Dial: Turn the dial to one of the 14 programs to turn the unit on. Move it to the OFF position to turn it off.

9. Start/Pause button: Press to start or interrupt the selected wash program, or to view the program during a cycle.

10. Child Lock: To activate or deactivate the child lock, press and hold the “Venting/Condensing” and “Delay Start” buttons simultaneously. This prevents the cycle from being altered.

Method A:

1. Press the Wash+Dry button to power the machine on. The cycle will default to STANDARD and the sensor dry indicator will be on.

2. Press the Start button to run the STANDARD wash cycle and sensor dry cycle.

To select a different wash cycle (Prewash+Heavy, Heavy, Quick 20, Baby, Delicates, wool, or Quiet), rotate the knob to your desired cycle and then press the Start button.

Method B:

1. Rotate the knob to power on the machine and select one of the cycles.

2. Press the Wash+Dry button.

3. Press the Start button to run the selected wash cycle and sensor dry cycle.

Before starting, you can change the default dry level by pressing the Dry Level button.

Method A:

1. Press the Wash only button to power the machine on. The cycle will default to STANDARD.

2. Press the Start button to run this cycle.

3. To select a different cycle, rotate the knob to the desired cycle and press the Start button.

Method B:

1. Rotate the knob to one of the cycles to power the machine on.

2. Press the Wash only button.

3. Press the Start button to run the selected wash cycle.

Method A:

1. Press the Dry only button to power the machine on. The cycle will default to the STANDARD cycle’s drying conditions.

2. Press the Start button to run a sensor dry cycle.

3. To use different drying conditions, rotate the knob to any of the other cycles and press the Start button.

Method B:

1. Rotate the knob to one of the cycles to power the machine on.

2. Press the Dry only button.

3. Press the Start button to run the sensor dry cycle at the selected cycle’s conditions.

The wash program can be stopped at any time to add forgotten items to the laundry.

1. Press PAUSE for 5 seconds.

2. The door will open 2 minutes after draining water to prevent overflow.

3. Load the additional clothes and close the door.

4. Press START. The cycle will continue from the point it was stopped.

How to stop the wash cycle:

– The wash program can be stopped at any time.

– Press pause for 5 seconds.

– Turn the knob to the OFF position.

– To drain water, turn the knob to DRAIN ONLY.

How to stop the dry cycle:

– Turn the knob to the OFF position.

– The door can be opened at any time during the dry cycle after the first 2 minutes.

Pressing the START button will lock the door. The wash cycle will start and continue until the program is completed. The door will remain locked and cannot be opened until 2 minutes after the wash cycle ends. Do not try to force the door open. During drying cycles, the door can be opened when the unlocked symbol is displayed on the screen.

1. Pour 2 cups of RV type Antifreeze into the soap dispenser.

2. Select the WINTERIZE cycle on the knob and press START. The machine will Rinse & Spin.

3. Once the cycle is finished, open the coin trap and drain out any remaining water.

4. Shut off water at both faucets, disconnect the water inlet hoses from the faucets, and drain them.

1. Switch off the Washer.

2. Open the service flap located at the bottom right corner of the machine.

3. Carefully unscrew the coin-trap cover. Warning: Some residual water will flow out (Approx. 1 Cup).

4. Remove any foreign objects or fluff from inside and clean the interior.

5. Check that the pump impeller wheel located behind the filter can rotate freely.

6. Remove any detergent residue and fluff from the pump cover thread and housing.

7. Insert the coin-trap cover and screw it on tightly.

8. Close the service flap.

1. Press the release lever on the inside of the drawer and pull it out.

2. Remove the cap from the Fabric Softener compartment.

3. Wash all parts under running water.

4. Clean the drawer recess with a small brush.

5. Reinsert the cap by pushing it firmly into place.

6. Push the drawer back into place.

7. Run a rinse program without any laundry in the drum.

Blood: Rinse or soak fresh stain in cold water. Work detergent into any remaining stain. Rinse. If stain persists, add a few drops of ammonia and repeat.

Deodorants and Antiperspirants: Wash or sponge stain with warm water and detergent; rinse. For remaining stains, bleach with hot sudsy water. Sponging with ammonia may restore fabric color.

Chocolate or Cocoa: Soak for 15 minutes in cold water. Rub detergent paste into the stain, then rinse thoroughly. Launder in the hottest water safe for the fabric.

Coffee or Tea: Soak fresh stains immediately in cold water. Then use a bleach treatment with the hottest water safe for the fabric.

Cosmetics: Apply undiluted liquid detergent to the stain, or dampen and rub in soap/detergent paste. Work in until the stain is gone, then rinse well.

Cream, Ice Cream or Milk: Sponge stain with cool water or soak in cool water for 30 minutes or longer. If stain remains, work detergent on the spot, then rinse.

Egg or Meat Juice: Rinse in cold water. If stain remains, sprinkle with meat tenderizer and let stand 15-20 minutes. Launder in hot water. Using hot water first may set the stain.

Fruit, Wine: Soak fresh stains immediately with cool water. Then use a bleach treatment with the hottest water safe for the fabric.

Grass: Work detergent into the stain. Sponge with denatured alcohol. Bleach if necessary.

Grease or Oil: Scrape away excess. Rub detergent paste or a general-purpose liquid household cleaner into the stain, then rinse with hot water. If stain remains, sponge with a grease solvent.

Ink: Test a scrap of cloth first. Sponge stain repeatedly with acetone, amyl acetate, or rubbing alcohol. Hair spray can be effective.

Mud: Let the stain dry, then brush well. Rinse repeatedly in cool water until the mud comes out. Hot soapy suds can set red or yellow clay stains.

Perspiration: Wash or sponge stain thoroughly with warm water and detergent paste. Apply ammonia to fresh stains; rinse with water. Apply vinegar to old stains; rinse with water.
