Follow these steps to operate the ELAC PROTEK PR91-W:

The LED indicators on the ELAC PROTEK PR91-W communicate the following status information:

Protected / Clean Power: When the LED is On, the outlets are protected. When the LED is Off, surge protection is not functioning and connected devices are not protected.

Ground OK: When the LED is On, the wall outlet is properly grounded. When the LED is Off, the wall outlet is not properly grounded and requires professional attention.

Reversed Polarity: When the LED is Off, the wall outlet polarity is correct. When the LED is On, reverse polarity has been detected and a licensed electrician should be contacted.

Unsafe Voltage: When the LED is Off, normal voltage is detected. When the LED is On, unsafe voltage has been detected and the surge protector will automatically disconnect power to connected devices.

To control the ELAC PROTEK PR91-W over a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, follow these instructions:

1. Download and open the ELAC Protek App from your mobile device app store.

2. Create an ELAC Protek account within the app.

3. On the Home Screen, click on “Add Device”.

4. Select “Auto Scan” from the top right of the next screen.

5. Press and hold the Power Button on the ELAC PROTEK PR91-W for 10 seconds until the unit reboots.

6. The device should appear in the “Available Devices Found” screen.

7. Click “Next” or the “+” symbol and then click “done” when prompted.

8. Once connected (which may take up to one minute), the unit can be controlled via your phone or tablet.

9. Use the app to rename outlet groups, set timers, and establish schedules.

Observe the following safety precautions for the ELAC PROTEK PR91-W:

Use the device only in dry locations and only indoors to avoid risk of electric shock.

Do not plug the unit into another relocatable power tap or “daisy chain” it with other surge protectors.

Do not plug the unit into a 220V outlet or power source.

Install and operate the equipment with a minimum distance of 20cm between the radiator of the device and your body.
