The LED indicator on your DJI MANIFOLD 3 displays the device’s operational status. You can interpret the different light patterns as follows:

The USB-C port on the DJI MANIFOLD 3 supports connecting USB 3.0 devices, such as docking stations and USB drives. However, it does not support a direct connection to a computer.

For powering the device via this port, you should use USB PD (Power Delivery) chargers. Examples include the DJI 100W USB-C Power Adapter or the DJI 65W Portable Charger.

When the port is not in use, ensure it is covered and the thumb screw is tightened.

To restore the DJI MANIFOLD 3 to its factory settings, press and hold the Reset Button for 10 seconds. This action will erase all installed applications and data on the device.

The E-Port on the DJI MANIFOLD 3 is designed exclusively for connecting the device to compatible aircraft.

To install the DJI MANIFOLD 3 on a DJI Matrice 400, you will need the appropriate mounting bracket, coaxial cable, screws, and tools (1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm hex keys), which are sold separately.

Follow the installation diagram to attach the mounting bracket to the aircraft, then secure the DJI MANIFOLD 3 onto the bracket. Connect the device using the coaxial cable to one of the aircraft’s E1, E2, or E3 ports. It is recommended to use the E3 port.

To update the firmware on your DJI MANIFOLD 3, follow these steps:

1. Connect the DJI MANIFOLD 3 to the aircraft, and then connect the aircraft to a computer.

2. Ensure the computer has an internet connection and that the DJI device is powered on.

3. Launch DJI Assistant 2 (Enterprise Series) and log in with your DJI account.

4. Select the DJI MANIFOLD 3 device and click “Firmware Upgrade” on the left side.

5. Choose the desired firmware version and click to update. The firmware will be downloaded and installed automatically.

6. A prompt will appear when the update is successful. The update may take some time, so wait patiently for it to finish.

For an offline update, download the firmware package from the official DJI website. In DJI Assistant 2, click “Offline Update,” select the device and the firmware package, then click “Start Update.”

Install an Application:

1. Copy the application installation package (with a .dpk extension) to the remote controller’s internal storage or an external microSD card.

2. Connect the DJI MANIFOLD 3 to the aircraft. Power on the remote controller and the aircraft, ensuring the remote controller is connected to the internet.

3. Launch DJI Pilot 2 and navigate to Manifold 3 > Application Management.

4. Tap the “+” icon in the upper right corner and select the installation package file. Once installed, the application will appear on the Application Management page.

Uninstall an Application:

1. In DJI Pilot 2, go to the Application Management page.

2. Select the application you wish to remove.

3. Tap More > Application Uninstallation.

Upgrade an Application:

To upgrade, follow the same steps as installing a new application, using the upgraded installation package.

First, connect the DJI MANIFOLD 3 to the aircraft. Launch the DJI Pilot 2 app and tap “Enter Camera View” from the home page.

1. Once in the camera view, tap the three dots (…) on the left side of the screen to view the list of installed applications.

2. Tap the icon of the desired application to launch it. The operational effects of the application will be visible in the camera view.

Please note the following management tips:

– Switching Applications: The DJI MANIFOLD 3 does not support running multiple applications simultaneously. To switch to a different application, you must first tap the icon of the currently running application to close it.

– Pinning Applications: For easy access, you can pin an application to the function bar. Press and hold the application’s icon, then drag it to the function bar in the camera view.

You can export application files using either DJI Pilot 2 or DJI Assistant 2.

Using DJI Pilot 2:

1. Connect the DJI MANIFOLD 3 to the aircraft. Then, connect a USB drive or hard drive to the Manifold 3’s USB-C port.

2. Launch DJI Pilot 2 and go to the Application Management page.

3. Select the desired application and tap “File Export.” The data files will be saved to the connected USB drive or hard drive.

Using DJI Assistant 2:

1. Connect the DJI MANIFOLD 3 to the aircraft, and then connect the aircraft to a computer.

2. Launch DJI Assistant 2 and click Log Export > Manifold 3 > Open Directory.

3. Select the data files you wish to export.

Export Manifold 3 System Logs:

1. Connect the DJI MANIFOLD 3 to the aircraft, then connect the aircraft to a computer.

2. Launch DJI Assistant 2 and log in with your DJI account.

3. Select the DJI MANIFOLD 3 device and click “Log Export” on the left side.

4. Click the checkbox to select the designated device logs for export.

Export Application Logs:

1. Connect the DJI MANIFOLD 3 to the aircraft. Connect a USB drive or hard drive to the Manifold 3’s USB-C port.

2. Launch DJI Pilot 2 and enter the Application Management page.

3. Select the desired application and tap More > Log Export. The logs will be saved to the connected USB drive.

When using DJI Assistant 2 to export application logs, follow the procedure for exporting application files and select the log files to export.
