The following requirements must be met when operating the DEYE SUN-20K-G02-LV:

1. The inverter should be installed and maintained by a qualified person under local standard regulations.

2. You must disconnect the AC side first, then disconnect the DC side during installation and maintenance. After that, wait at least 5 minutes to avoid getting shocked.

3. The local temperature of the inverter may exceed 80 degrees Celsius while operating. Do not touch the case to avoid injury.

4. All electrical installations must be in accordance with local electrical standards and achieve permission from the local power company.

5. Take appropriate anti-static measures.

6. Install the unit where children cannot touch it.

The DEYE SUN-20K-G02-LV panel has four buttons with the following functions:

Up Button: Used for page turning and increasing values.

Down Button: Used for page turning and decreasing values.

ESC Button: Used for exiting or modifying adjustable parameters.

ENTER Button: Used for confirming selections or modifying adjustable parameters.

When choosing a location for the DEYE SUN-20K-G02-LV, follow these guidelines:

1. Do not install in areas containing highly flammable materials or gases.

2. Do not install in potentially explosive atmospheres.

3. Do not install in small closed spaces where air cannot circulate freely. Ensure air flow around the inverter is not blocked.

4. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, as this increases operational temperature and may cause power limiting. Use a sun shade if ambient temperatures exceed 40 degrees Celsius.

5. Install on a wall or strong structure capable of bearing the inverter’s weight.

6. Install vertically with a maximum incline of +/-15 degrees.

7. If installing multiple inverters, leave at least a 500mm gap between each unit and 500mm above and below.

Follow these steps to mount the DEYE SUN-20K-G02-LV:

1. For brick walls, determine the position of the holes suitable for the expansion bolts.

2. Ensure the bracket is horizontal and marks the mounting holes correctly.

3. Drill the holes on the wall according to the marks.

4. Use the expansion bolts to fix the mounting bracket to the wall.

5. Mount the inverter onto the bracket in a vertical position.

6. Secure the inverter to the bracket using the M12x80 stainless steel screws.

To connect the PV array to the DEYE SUN-20K-G02-LV, follow these procedures:

1. Switch the Grid Supply Main Switch (AC) to OFF.

2. Switch the DC Isolator to OFF.

3. Strip off the DC wire about 7mm and disassemble the connector cap nut.

4. Crimp the metal terminals with crimping pliers to the wire.

5. Insert the contact pin into the top part of the connector and screw up the cap nut.

6. Finally, insert the DC connector into the positive and negative inputs of the inverter.

Safety Note: Ensure the PV array open circuit voltage is within 1000V and that polarity matches the DC+ and DC- symbols.

To connect the AC side of the DEYE SUN-20K-G02-LV, follow these steps:

1. Remove the 8 fixing screws on the AC junction box of the inverter to access the terminals.

2. Connect the cable through the junction box and waterproof jacket.

3. Insert the wires into the terminals: L1 to socket 1, L2 to socket 2, L3 to socket 3, PE line to the earth, and N wire to the N socket.

4. Use a hexagon screwdriver to press the wiring harness to the connection terminals.

5. Screw the AC connection cover back to the shell and tighten all screws and the waterproof protection connector.

Recommended Copper Core Cable: 25 to 50 mm2.

To start up the DEYE SUN-20K-G02-LV:

1. Switch on the AC breaker.

2. Turn on the DC switch of the PV module. If there is sufficient voltage, the inverter will start.

3. The inverter will self-check internal and grid parameters. If ranges are acceptable, it will generate energy and the NORMAL indicator will light up.

To shut off the DEYE SUN-20K-G02-LV:

1. Switch off the AC breaker.

2. Wait 30 seconds and turn off the DC switch or disconnect the DC input connector.

3. The LCD and all LEDs will close within two minutes.

To enable the zero-export function on the DEYE SUN-20K-G02-LV using the SUN limiter:

1. Turn on the AC switch and the DC switch, and wait for the inverter LCD to light up.

2. Press Enter on the LCD panel to go to the menu, select [parameter setting], then [run param].

3. Input the default password “1234”.

4. Navigate to the “Limiter” option and change it to “ON”.

5. Move the cursor to [confirm] and press ENTER to save settings.

6. If successful, the home page will display [utility power].
