You should follow these safety instructions carefully before installation and retain them for future reference.

1. THIS APPLIANCE IS HOT WHEN OPERATED AND CAN CAUSE SEVERE BURNS IF TOUCHED.

2. Do not operate the appliance before reading and understanding operating instructions. Failure to do so could cause fire or injury.

3. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of this appliance and keep away from the sides and the rear. WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.

4. Risk of burns. Power to the appliance should be turned off and the appliance allowed to cool before servicing. To disconnect power, turn controls to off, then remove the plug from the outlet.

5. Do not install damaged, incomplete, or substitute components.

6. Young children should be carefully supervised when they are in the same room as the appliance. Toddlers, young children, and others may be susceptible to accidental contact burns.

7. To prevent accidental swallowing, media bed kits should be kept away from children and infants.

8. The remote control contains small batteries. Keep away from children. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.

9. Do not install a battery backwards, charge, put it in a fire, or mix it with used or other battery types-it may explode or leak, causing injury.

10. Ensure you have incorporated adequate safety measures to protect infants/toddlers from touching hot surfaces.

11. It is imperative that the control compartments, circulating blower, and its passageway in the appliance are kept clean. The appliance should be inspected before use and at least annually by a qualified service person.

12. Under no circumstances should this appliance be modified.

13. Do not use this appliance if any part has been in contact with water. Immediately call a qualified service technician to inspect the appliance and to replace any part of the control system which has been in contact with water.

14. Do not operate the appliance with the glass door removed, cracked, or broken. Replacement of the glass should be done by a licensed or qualified service person.

15. Do not strike or slam shut the appliance glass door.

16. Keep the packaging material out of reach of children and dispose of the material in a safe manner. As with all plastic bags, these are not toys and should be kept away from children and infants.

17. Servicing should be done only while the appliance is disconnected from the power supply circuit.

18. Always unplug the appliance when not in use.

19. Do not operate this appliance with a damaged cord or plug after the appliance malfunctions, has been dropped, or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to an authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.

20. Do not use the appliance outdoors.

21. Never place the appliance where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.

22. Do not run the cord under carpeting. Do not cover the cord with throw rugs, runners, etc. Arrange the cord away from a cluttered area and where it will not be tripped over.

24. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the appliance.

25. To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a carpet, where openings may become blocked.

26. Always plug appliances directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).

Before plugging in or using the appliance, please be aware of the following:

A. Prior to plugging your appliance into an electrical outlet, verify that the house circuit breakers for the outlet are on.

B. The appliance may emit a slight, harmless odor when first used. This odor is normal and it is caused by the initial heating of internal appliance elements and will not occur again.

C. If your appliance does not emit heat, consult the operation section of this manual for further information.

D. Use with an ETL or UL certified surge protector.

CAUTION – Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.

Before you begin assembly, please follow these steps:

1. Please read all instructions carefully.

2. Retain instructions for future reference.

3. Separate and count all parts and hardware.

4. Read through each step carefully and follow the proper order.

5. We recommend that, where possible, all items are assembled near to the area in which they will be placed in use, to avoid moving the product unnecessarily once assembled.

6. Always place the product on a flat, steady, and stable surface.

7. Keep all small parts and packaging materials for this product away from babies and children as they potentially pose a serious choking hazard.

Carefully remove the appliance from the box. Prior to installing the appliance, test to make sure the appliance operates properly by plugging the power supply cord into a conveniently located 120 Volt grounded outlet.

Follow these steps to install the fireplace on a wall:

Step 1. Removing the Glass Frame

1. Remove the fixed screw in the lower-left corner (Do not discard it).

2. Lift the glass frame 1-2cm vertically. Then the entire glass frame can be removed from the front.

3. Take the glass frame 10-20cm away from the appliance, pull out the data cable connector with the help of others or put the glass panel down on the ground before complete separation.

Step 2. Removing the Mounting Bracket

1. Unscrew the two screws by Phillips screwdriver from both ends (Do not discard them), then remove the pre-attached mounting bracket.

Step 3. Choosing a Wall Location

1. Find a safe location. Minimum clearance from the ceiling and the mantel must be at least 8 inches (200mm); minimum clearance from the front must be at least 3 feet (900 mm).

2. Choose a location near an outlet so an extension cord is not required. Note: DO NOT position the unit directly below a power outlet.

Step 4. Drilling the Holes and attaching the Mounting Bracket

1. Use a level to align the bracket and mark the holes which need to be drilled with a pencil.

2. Drill 3-10 (depending on the model) 7/25 in. (7mm) holes in the wall.

3. Insert the wall anchors (Part B) into the holes using a hammer.

4. Attach the mounting bracket to the wall by fastening the Anchor Screws (Part A) into the wall anchors (Part B).

Step 5. Hanging the Fireplace on the Bracket

1. Hang the slotting behind the appliance on the hooks at the left and right sides of the bracket. (Please hold the appliance to avoid dropping down before the installation is finished).

Step 6. Locking the Fireplace on the Bracket

1. Lock the bracket at both ends with a screw to ensure a solid combination of the fireplace and bracket.

Step 7. Placing the Decorations

1. Carefully place crystal or other decoration into the bottom tray on the front of the appliance as illustrated. NOTE: Media bed kits may have sharp edges, wear safety glasses and gloves when handling.

Step 8. Hanging the Glass Frame

1. Connect the data cable connector before hanging the glass frame on the appliance.

2. Gently push on the glass panel by aligning the 4 hooks until it snaps into position (sinks down 1-2 cm).

3. Secure the glass panel with the screw removed in Step 1.

Step 9. Refasten the Glass Frame

1. Thread the M4X12 screw (Part C) into the threaded holes on the glass panel. Check the alignment of the glass panel and securely tighten the screws.

Follow these steps for a built-in or recessed installation:

Step 1. Removing the Glass Frame & Step 2. Removing the Mounting Bracket

1. Please follow Step 1 and Step 2 from the Wall Hanging Installation instructions.

Step 3. Settling the Holes of Screw

1. The appropriate cavity (1-2cm bigger for each side) needs to be prepared according to the size of the appliance.

2. Put the fireplace in place, mark the holes which need to be drilled with a pencil. Then take it out of the cavity again.

Step 4. Drilling & Installing the Wall Anchors

1. Drill the holes 7/25 in. (7mm) on the prepared marks.

2. Insert the wall anchors (Part B) into the holes using a hammer.

Step 5. Placing the Pads and Fixing the Fireplace

1. Screws (Part A) pass through the holes from the front of the fireplace with a screwdriver. (Note: Install carefully and don’t let the screws fall into the fireplace.)

2. Put the Fireplace into the prepared cavity.

3. Fasten the fireplace firmly into the wall by the screws for each side.

Step 6. Placing the Decorations

1. Carefully place crystal or other decoration into the bottom tray on the front of the appliance as illustrated. NOTE: Media bed kits may have sharp edges, wear safety glasses and gloves when handling.

Step 7. Hanging the Glass Frame

1. Connect the data cable connector before hanging the glass frame on the appliance.

2. Gently push on the glass panel by aligning the 4 hooks until it snaps into position (sinks down 1-2 cm).

3. Secure the glass panel with the screw removed in Step 1.

Step 8. Refasten the Glass Frame

1. Thread the M4X12 screw into the threaded holes on the glass panel. Check the alignment of the glass panel and securely tighten the screws.

The main power switch for all types is located on the upper right of the fireplace. Press the indicator to turn on the appliance, and press the other side to turn it off. Note: Make sure the Main Power Switch is turned on before operating with the control panel or remote.

The main power switch must be turned ON before using the remote control. The touch display panel is on the bottom right of the appliance. Aim the remote control at the front of the fireplace for best results.

POWER: Turns the appliance ON/OFF.

DIMMER: Controls the flame brightness. There are 5 settings (L1-L2-L3-L4-L5). Flame dims from L1 to L5. L5 is the brightest setting. NOTE: Long-press the “DIMMER” button for 6 seconds, and the appliance will go into sleep mode. All the lights will turn off, but the heating function will continue. Long-press for 6 seconds again to return to normal mode.

TIMER: Controls the timer. There are 8 settings (1h, 2h, 3h, 4h, 5h, 6h, 7h, 8h). Press the button until you reach the desired setting.

FLAME SPEED: Controls the flame speed. There are 5 settings (V1-V2-V3-V4-V5). Flame speed increases from V1 to V5. V5 is the fastest setting.

HEATER: Controls the heater. Press the button to initiate the heater. The cycle is (OFF) no heater or blower -> (-) heater blows warm air (750W) -> (–) heater blows hot air (1500W).

COLOR A: Controls the flame color. There are 12 settings: 1.red 2.yellow 3.blue 4.orange 5.red & yellow 6.red & blue 7.red & white 8.yellow & blue 9.yellow & white 10.blue & white 11.red & yellow & blue 12.multicolor. NOTE: When you press the button for 6 seconds until you hear a beep, the indicator will show “0”, and the flame color and brightness will change automatically.

COLOR B: Controls the flame bed color. There are 12 settings: 1.red 2.gentian blue 3.green 4.pink 5.yellow 6.cyan 7.purple 8.white 9.saffron 10.sky blue 11.verdant 12.capri blue. NOTE: When you press the button for 6 seconds until you hear a beep, the indicator will show “0”, and the flame bed color and brightness will change automatically.

To prepare the remote control, you must move the battery’s transparent insulating piece away before using. This piece is located in the battery holder at the bottom of the remote.

First, disconnect the power and allow the heater to cool completely. The partially reflective glass may collect dust particles; these can be removed by dusting lightly with a clean dry cloth. To remove fingerprints or other marks, the partially reflective glass can be cleaned with a damp cloth. The glass should be completely dried with a lint-free cloth to prevent water spots. To prevent scratching, do not use abrasive cleaners.

The mounting bracket is pre-attached. To remove it, unscrew the two screws at both sides of the fireplace using a Phillips screwdriver, then remove the pre-attached mounting bracket.

First, make sure the main power switch on the appliance is turned on before operation. Second, ensure you have reconnected the data cable which may have been pulled out when you removed the glass frame.

Check that the air outlet is not covered. Unplug the plug, wait for 10 minutes, and then try to turn it on again.

This is normal. The fans blow cool air while the appliance gradually heats up. The fans also blow after the appliance is turned off to cool the unit and prevent overheating.

Please check the following:

1. Main power supply switch is off: Turn the main power supply switch to the “ON” position.

2. Circuit breaker has tripped: There may be too many appliances on this circuit. Be sure that the electrical supply for this unit is an individual circuit.

3. Heater is unplugged: Make sure the power cord is plugged into a functioning and properly grounded 15 Amp 120V AC electrical outlet.

4. Power cord or plug is damaged: Contact a qualified electrician to replace the power cord.

5. Power outlet is loose: Check the power outlet and replace it with a new one.

6. Loose wiring: Check all wiring for loose connections. Contact a qualified electrician.

If the heater switches are on but the flame is not, you may have activated sleep mode. Long-press the “DIMMER” button for 6 seconds; the appliance will go into sleep mode where all lights are off but the heating function continues. To exit sleep mode, long-press the “DIMMER” button for 6 seconds again, and the appliance will return to normal mode.

If the flame appears frozen, check the following:

1. The Flame Adjusting knob might be at a low setting. Turn the knob to the maximum setting.

2. There could be loose wiring. Check all wiring for loose connections and contact a qualified electrician if needed.

3. The flame element may not be attached to the motor or the rotation motor may be defective.

Excessive noise could be caused by the flame element not being seated properly or a defective motor.

If the heater system does not activate, please check the following points:

1. Make sure the heater power switch is in the “ON” position.

2. The heater system may have overheated. Maybe the heater is covered or the air inlet/outlet is blocked. Remove any clothes or blockage, turn off the power switch, and unplug it. Wait 10 minutes, and then turn the heater on again.

3. There could be loose wiring. Check all wiring for loose connections and contact a qualified electrician if necessary.

4. The air inlet or outlet may be completely blocked. Leave adequate space around the unit and remove any blockage on or in front of the air outlet.

If the “HEAT” switch is on but there is no airflow, it could be for one of the following reasons:

1. The heater system has overheated, causing the Temperature Limit thermostat to cut off. Check the air inlet and outlet. Turn off the power switch and unplug it. Wait 10 minutes, and then turn the heater on again.

2. The fan motor may be defective.

3. The fan blower may be badly balanced.

If the fan is running but you feel no heat, please check the following:

1. Ensure that both the “POWER” and the “HEAT” switches are turned on.

2. There could be loose wiring.

3. The heating element may be bad.

4. There may be a build-up of dirt on the fans. Clean all fans.

5. The heater fan may be defective.

If your remote control is not working, try these solutions:

1. Battery installation: Make sure the battery is properly installed. Also, ensure the battery’s transparent insulating piece has been removed before use.

2. Positioning: Aim the remote control directly at the receiver on the fireplace.

3. Obstacles: Remove any objects that may be in the way between the remote control and the receiver, as they can block the signal.

4. Button pressing speed: Don’t press the remote control buttons too quickly. Give the unit time to respond to your commands.

The heater may emit a slight, harmless odor when first used. This is a normal condition caused by the initial heating of the internal parts and will not occur again.

For most functional problems, you can reset the machine to its initial status. Unplug the plug, wait for 10 minutes, and then plug it in again.
