This device is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.

The appliance can be used during camping and/or in cars.


How can I avoid food contamination?

To avoid food contamination, please follow the instructions below:

Prolonged opening of the door can lead to a significant increase in the temperature of the appliance compartment.

Regularly clean the surfaces that might be in contact with food and accessible evacuation systems.

Store raw meat and fish in appropriate containers so as to prevent them from touching or dripping on each other.

The two-star compartments are suitable for storing pre-frozen food, storing, or making ice cream, and making ice cubes.

Compartments with one, two, or three stars are not suitable for freezing fresh food.

If the refrigerator appliance remains empty for a long period of time, unplug it, defrost it, clean it, dry it, and leave the door open to prevent interior mould formation.


What are the power-related safety warnings?

When plugging in the appliance, make sure that the power cords are properly connected to the sockets. An incorrectly connected cable can cause a fire hazard.

If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service or by a similarly qualified person to prevent hazards.

What should I do before using the appliance?

This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the appliance when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.

Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.


How do I operate the mini fridge using a household socket?

1. Make sure that the mode switch is in the OFF position before connecting the mini fridge to a power outlet.

2. Plug the AC power cable into the AC connector of the mini fridge.

3. Place the mini fridge on a stable surface and plug the other end of the cable into a power outlet.

4. Set the switch to Cooling mode or Heating mode.

5. Using the power level switch, choose between MAX or ECO according to your needs.

6. Turn the mode switch to the OFF position to switch off the device.


How do I operate the mini fridge using a car plug socket?

1. Keep the switch in the OFF position before connecting the mini fridge to the socket in your car.

2. Plug the DC power cable into the DC connector of the mini fridge.

3. Place the mini fridge on a stable surface and plug the other end of the cable into the connector in your car.

4. Set the switch to Cooling mode or Heating mode.

5. Turn the mode switch to the OFF position to switch off the device.

WARNING:

For the operation of the mini fridge, it is necessary to use the car engine. Make sure that the motor is switched on before connecting the device.

If you switch on the car engine with the mini fridge connected, this may cause a power surge which could damage the appliance and even result in a fire.

Do not leave the mini fridge running in the car with the engine switched off.

Before placing any product inside, test the cooling and heating functions.


How does the cooling function work?

The temperature inside the refrigerator will not immediately reach the desired temperature when it is switched on. It usually takes about 2/3 hours* to reach the desired temperature. The minimum temperature of the mini fridge varies according to the room temperature.

For faster cooling, it is recommended to fill the mini fridge with drinks or food previously chilled.

Temperature depends on the environment. The colder the room temperature, the cooler the mini fridge will be. Room temperature is the temperature of surrounding air.

When the room temperature is 25 °C, it can be cooled down to about 8 °C*.

How does the heating function work?

The appliance is also designed to keep warm. The mini fridge is not designed to heat objects, food or cold drinks. However, you can cool down colder foods after at least 2 hours or so.

After switching the mini fridge off, hot items will maintain their temperature for several hours, provided the door is properly closed. Temperature dwell time will vary depending on environmental conditions.

Take care to avoid burns during use of the mini fridge in Heating mode.

When the room temperature is 25 °C, it can be heat up to about 65 °C*.

What should I know before switching between heating and cooling modes?

Make sure that the mode switch is at least 30 minutes in the off position before switching between modes.

If used correctly, the device can preserve the temperature of food, hot or cold, for hours.


What are the warnings related to ventilation and heat dissipation?

Warning

Never use the mini fridge in a car with a voltage of 24 V, or in a house with a voltage other than 220-240 V. This may cause malfunctions and fire.

This product should not be used near water and at high temperatures to avoid malfunctions, electric shock, and other accidents.

Transforming or tampering with the mini fridge and power cord will cause malfunctions which may result in fire.

In summer, do not place the mini fridge inside the car or in the boot and other high temperature places to avoid appliance failure.

When using the appliance in the car, be sure to switch on the engine and, if the engine is switched off, disconnect the power cable.

Unplug the power cord when the appliance is not to be used for a long period of time.

Do not block the air inlet, as the appliance will not cool down or heat up.

Do not cover the appliance with rags, paper, or any other object.


How do I clean and maintain the mini fridge?

Make sure to unplug the appliance after use and before storing it.

Store the mini fridge in a cool, dry place. Always make sure it is completely dry before storing it.

Always let the mini fridge dry completely with the door open before storing it. Keep the door open while the appliance reaches room temperature to avoid moisture and mould formation inside the appliance.

Clean the mini fridge with a soft, damp cloth.

Do not immerse the appliance in water.

2. The lowest possible temperature depends on the surrounding environment. The colder the room temperature, the cooler the mini fridge will be.


What are some tips for better cooling?

Place the appliance more than 5 cm away from the wall to ensure good heat dissipation.
