The BOSCH WAN28207GR should only be used for washing machine washable fabrics and hand washable wool in accordance with the care label, with tap water and commercially available detergents and care products suitable for washing machines, in private households and in enclosed spaces in a domestic environment, up to an altitude of max. 4000 meters above sea level.

This appliance may be used by children aged 8 or over and by people who have reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or inadequate experience and or knowledge, provided that they are supervised or have been instructed on how to use the appliance safely and have understood the resulting dangers. Do not let children play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children unless they are being supervised. Keep children under the age of 3 years and pets away from the BOSCH WAN28207GR.

Connect and operate the BOSCH WAN28207GR only in accordance with the specifications on the rating plate. Connect the BOSCH WAN28207GR to a power supply with alternating current only via a properly installed socket with earthing. The protective conductor system of the domestic electrical installation must be properly installed. When installing the appliance, check that the power cable is not trapped or damaged. Never let the power cord come into contact with hot appliance parts, heat sources, or sharp points or edges. Never kink, crush or modify the power cord.

Do not use extension cables or multiple socket strips with the BOSCH WAN28207GR. Only use adapters and power cords approved by the manufacturer. If the power cord is too short and a longer one is not available, please contact an electrician to have the domestic installation adapted.

The high weight of the BOSCH WAN28207GR may result in injury when lifted. Do not lift the appliance on your own. Wear protective gloves when installing and transporting the appliance.

Children may put packaging material of the BOSCH WAN28207GR over their heads or wrap themselves up in it and suffocate. Keep packaging material away from children and do not let them play with it.

When using the BOSCH WAN28207GR on a base, always secure the feet of the appliance to a base using the manufacturer’s fixing brackets before using the appliance for the first time.

Do not stand on or climb onto the BOSCH WAN28207GR, as the covering plate may break. Do not sit on or lean against the appliance door, and do not place any objects on it, as the appliance may tip over. Wait for the drum to come to a complete stop before reaching inside to avoid hand injuries.

When you wash at high temperatures, the detergent solution gets hot; do not touch it. If the detergent drawer of the BOSCH WAN28207GR is opened, detergent and care products may spray out. Contact with eyes or skin may cause irritation. Rinse eyes or skin thoroughly with clean water if they come into contact with detergents or care products.

Repairs to the BOSCH WAN28207GR should only be carried out by trained specialist staff. Only use genuine spare parts when repairing the appliance. If the power cord of the BOSCH WAN28207GR is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, the manufacturer’s Customer Service or a similarly qualified person in order to prevent any risk.

Reduce the washing temperature for lightly and normally soiled laundry. Set the maximum spin speed if you want to dry the laundry in the tumble dryer afterwards. Wash the laundry without prewash. The BOSCH WAN28207GR has a continuous automatic load adjustment function that optimally adjusts the water consumption and programme duration.

If you do not use the BOSCH WAN28207GR for an extended period, it automatically switches to energy saving mode. Energy saving mode ends when you use the appliance again.

Remove any packaging and protective covers completely from the BOSCH WAN28207GR. Check the appliance for visible damage. Open the door, remove any accessories from the drum, and close the door.

1. Pull the hoses out of the holders. 2. Unscrew and remove all the screws for the 4 transit bolts with a WAF 13 wrench. 3. Remove the power cable from the holder. 4. Remove the 4 sleeves. 5. Put on the 4 cover caps. 6. Push the 4 cover caps downwards.

Connect the water inlet hose to the appliance and to a tap (26.4 mm = 3/4 inch). Open the water tap carefully and check that the connection points are tight.

1. Loosen the lock nuts using a WAF 17 wrench by turning it in a clockwise direction. 2. To align the BOSCH WAN28207GR, turn the appliance feet. Check that the appliance is level using a spirit level. All appliance feet must stand firmly on the ground. 3. Screw the lock nuts tightly against the housing using a WAF 17 wrench while holding the foot tight so that you do not adjust its height.

Insert the mains plug of the BOSCH WAN28207GR power cable in a socket nearby and check that the plug is inserted properly.

1. Turn the programme selector to the drum clean programme. 2. Close the door. 3. Pull out the detergent drawer. 4. Pour approx. 1 litre of tap water into compartment II. 5. Pour washing powder into compartment II. 6. Push in the detergent drawer. 7. Press the start button to start the programme. 8. After the programme has ended, the display shows End, and you can switch off the appliance.

1. Pull out the detergent drawer. 2. Press down on the insert and remove the detergent drawer. 3. Insert the measuring aid. 4. Insert the detergent drawer.

Do not use the measuring aid for liquid detergent for gel detergents, washing powder, or if prewash or ready in time are activated. Always observe the manufacturer’s instructions for use and dosage found on the packaging.

A programme must be set using the programme selector. Press the start button. The drum rotates and load detection takes place. The display shows the programme duration or the ready in time. After the programme has ended, the display shows End.

1. Press the start button to pause the programme. 2. Press the ready in button repeatedly until the display indicates the desired ready in time. 3. Press the start button again to activate the changed ready in time.

1. Start the programme. 2. To pause the programme, after approx. 10 minutes, press the start button. 3. To resume the programme, after the desired soaking time, press the start button again.

1. Press the start button to pause the BOSCH WAN28207GR. 2. Open the door. 3. Add or remove laundry. 4. Close the door. 5. Press the start button again.

1. Press the start button. 2. Open the door. If the temperature is high, start the rinse programme. If the water level is high, start the spin programme or a suitable programme for draining. 3. Remove the laundry.

1. Set the spin programme or a programme for draining the water. 2. Press the start button.

Press and hold the two 3 seconds buttons for approx. 3 seconds. The display will show the key symbol. The childproof lock remains active even after the BOSCH WAN28207GR has been switched off.

With the BOSCH WAN28207GR switched on, press and hold the two 3 seconds buttons for approx. 3 seconds. The key symbol will go out in the display.

1. Set the programme selector to position 1. 2. Press the start button and, at the same time, turn the programme selector to position 2. 3. Set the programme selector to the required position. 4. To change the value, press the ready in button. 5. To save the changes, switch off the BOSCH WAN28207GR.

Regularly run a programme for cleaning the drum or wash at temperatures of at least 60 degrees Celsius. Always run the drum clean programme without laundry and using washing powder.

1. Pull out the detergent drawer. 2. Press down on the insert and remove the detergent drawer. 3. Pull out the insert upwards. 4. Clean the detergent drawer and insert with water and a brush, and then dry them. 5. Fit the insert and click it into place. 6. Clean the opening for the detergent drawer. 7. Push in the detergent drawer.

1. Turn off the tap and switch off the BOSCH WAN28207GR. 2. Disconnect the mains plug. 3. Open and remove the service flap. 4. Slide a container under the opening. 5. Take the drain hose out of the holder, remove the sealing cap and allow the water to flow out. 6. Once finished, firmly press the sealing cap back on and insert the drain hose into the holder.

1. Ensure the drain pump is empty. 2. Unscrew the pump cap carefully, remove and clean the filter insert. 3. Clean the interior, the thread on the pump cap and the pump housing. 4. Ensure that the impeller in the drain pump can rotate. 5. Insert the pump cap and screw it as far as it will go. The handle on the pump cap must be in a vertical position.

To prevent unused detergent from flowing straight into the outlet in the next wash, run a suitable programme for draining after you have emptied the drain pump. Open the water tap, insert the mains plug, switch on the BOSCH WAN28207GR, pour 1 litre of water into compartment II, and select a suitable programme for draining.

Ensure the drain pump is empty. Do not open the door if you can see water through the glass. Pull the emergency release downwards with a tool and release. The door lock will be released.

Use a screwdriver to remove the 4 cover caps, then insert the 4 transit bolts.

The end signal can be set to volume levels 0 (off), 1 (quiet), 2 (medium), 3 (loud), or 4 (very loud) using programme position 2.

The button signal can be set to volume levels 0 (off), 1 (quiet), 2 (medium), 3 (loud), or 4 (very loud) using programme position 3.

If the display goes out and the start button flashes, energy saving mode is active. Simply press any button to make the symbol light up again.

This indicates a blockage in the drain pipe or water outlet hose. Clean them. Ensure they are not kinked or trapped. Also, ensure the drain pump is not blocked, the water outlet hose is not connected too high (maximum 1 metre), the pump cover is correctly assembled, and no unapproved extensions are installed.

The unbalanced load detection system has interrupted the spin cycle. Redistribute the laundry in the drum. It helps to mix large and small items in the drum.

If it lights up, the door is locked and cannot be opened. If the temperature is too high, wait until it drops. If the water level is too high, select a suitable programme for draining.

Check if the mains plug is plugged in, the circuit breaker in the fuse box has tripped, or there has been a power cut.

Ensure you have pressed the start button, the door is closed, the childproof lock is not activated, the ready in time is not activated, and no laundry is caught in the door.

Available accessories include a water inlet hose extension (WMZ2381), fixing brackets (WMZ2200), a longer water inlet hose (00353925), an elbow for the water outlet hose (00655300), a liquid detergent insert (00637516), and a platform (WMZPW20W).

Remove all items from any pockets, brush off sand and soil, sort the laundry according to colour and textiles, observe care labels, close all zips, Velcro fasteners, hooks and eyes, tie cloth belts, cloth straps and cords together, remove curtain fittings and lead strips, and wash small or particularly delicate items in a mesh washing bag.

Use liquid detergents that are self flowing, do not mix different liquid detergents, do not mix detergent and fabric softener, and do not use products that have expired, are highly congealed, or contain solvents, caustic agents or volatile substances.

The rating plate is located on the inside of the door, on the inside of the maintenance flap, or on the rear of the BOSCH WAN28207GR.
