Please follow these safety instructions when using your BOSCH MFWS6 Food Mincer:
Intended Use:
● Only use this appliance for applications described in these instructions.
● For cutting up raw or cooked food, e.g. meat, fish and vegetables.
● Use under supervision.
● For normal processing quantities and for normal processing times for domestic use.
● For use in private households and in enclosed spaces in a domestic environment at room temperature.
● Use up to an altitude of max. 2000 m above sea level.
General Safety:
● The appliance must always be disconnected from the mains after each use, whenever it is left unattended, prior to assembly, disassembly or cleaning, in the event of an error and when you are close to rotating parts.
● This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or a lack of experience and/or knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
● Do not let children play with the appliance.
● Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children.
● The appliance must not be used by children. Keep children away from the appliance and power cord.
● Never operate a damaged appliance or an appliance with a cracked or fractured surface.
● Never pull on the power cord to unplug the appliance. Always unplug the appliance at the mains.
● If the appliance or the power cord is damaged, immediately unplug the power cord or switch off the fuse in the fuse box.

How can I avoid material damage to my BOSCH MFWS6 Food Mincer?
To avoid damaging your BOSCH MFWS6, please follow these guidelines:
● Never operate the appliance for more than 10 minutes without stopping. Then switch off the appliance and allow it to cool down to room temperature.
● Do not operate the appliance at no-load.

● Upon delivery, some small accessory parts are located in the storage compartment of the pusher, e.g. perforated discs or parts of the sausage filler attachment. Open the pusher and take out the parts.
● The juice attachment and the grain mill attachment both use the same housing and the same threaded ring. These parts are included in the scope of supply only once.

What are the safety systems on the BOSCH MFWS6 Food Mincer?
The BOSCH MFWS6 is equipped with several safety systems:
Overload protection: This system prevents the motor and other components from being damaged through being overloaded.
Thermal circuit breaker: If the motor becomes overloaded or too hot, the thermal circuit breaker will switch the appliance off.
Predetermined breaking point: If the worm conveyor jams or becomes overloaded, the clutch will break at the predetermined breaking point.
Restart lock-out: This prevents your appliance from automatically restarting processing after a power failure. Processing cannot start again until the rotary switch has been set to O.
How do I operate the BOSCH MFWS6 for the first time?
Cleaning the appliance and parts before using for the first time
1. Clean all parts that come into contact with food before using for the first time.
2. Put the cleaned and dried parts out ready for use.

How do I assemble the various attachments for the BOSCH MFWS6 Food Mincer?
Assembling the sausage filler attachment: The sausage filler attachment is suitable for filling artificial and natural casings with meat and for shaping rolls, e.g. cevapcici. Follow the instructions in Fig. 19 – 22.
Assembling the kebbe attachment: The kebbe attachment is suitable for shaping dough or minced meat pockets. Follow the instructions in Fig. 23 – 25.
Assembling the cookie maker attachment: The cookie maker attachment is suitable for shaping biscuit dough or shortcrust pastry. Follow the instructions in Fig. 26 – 29.
How do I use the shredding attachment with the BOSCH MFWS6?
The shredding attachment is suitable for shredding, grating, and slicing items such as cheese, fruit, vegetables, nuts, almonds, or dry bread rolls.

Barrel Inserts:
● Grating barrel: For grating food finely, e.g. nuts, hard cheese, potatoes.
● Slicing barrel: For cutting food into slices, e.g. cucumbers, carrots, beetroot.
● Shredding barrel coarse: For shredding food into large pieces, e.g. fruit and vegetables like apples or carrots; cheese like Gouda or Edam.
● Shredding barrel fine: For shredding food into fine pieces, e.g. nuts; fruit and vegetables like apples or carrots; cheese like Gouda or Edam.
Notes: The barrel inserts are not suitable for processing very soft or very fibrous foods. The recommended continuous operating time is 2 minutes.
Using the shredding attachment: Follow the instructions in Fig. 31 – 40.
How do I use the juice attachment with the BOSCH MFWS6?
The juicer attachment is suitable for squeezing food, e.g. tomatoes, seedless grapes, watermelon, and apples.
Control Nozzle: The control nozzle is used to set the consistency of the fruit pulp.
● Turn anticlockwise: Pulp more moist and less juice
● Turn clockwise: Pulp drier and more juice
Note: If the control nozzle is inserted too far, very firm or dry pulp can block it. Turn the control nozzle to move out further or remove completely.
Assembling the juice attachment: Before assembling, check the condition and proper positioning of the sealing rings. Never use without the sealing rings or if they are damaged. Follow the instructions in Fig. 42 – 47.
Fitting the juice attachment: Follow the instructions in Fig. 48 – 50.
Using the juice attachment: During processing, ensure the filter insert and control nozzle do not become blocked. If the attachment is blocked, switch off the appliance at once. The pips of some fruit may block the filter insert. Before processing, set the control nozzle for juicier fruit pulp. Cut large items to fit the filling shaft and remove hard peel, stalks, cores, and stones. Do not process frozen fruit. Do not apply great force with the pusher. Follow the instructions in Fig. 51 – 56.

How do I use the grain mill attachment with the BOSCH MFWS6?
The grain mill attachment is suitable for grinding all types of grain except corn and other foods like oats, linseeds, black pepper, or coffee beans. It is not suitable for very hard foods like dried peas or nuts.
Grinding Level: Use the adjusting ring to set the grinding level.
● Turn anticlockwise: Coarser grinding level
● Turn clockwise: Finer grinding level
Notes: To prevent blocking, process very oily foods with a medium to fine grinding level. Process soft grains with a coarse level first, then again with a fine one.
Assembling the grain mill attachment: Follow the instructions in Fig. 61 – 65.
Fitting the grain mill attachment: Follow the instructions in Fig. 66 – 68.
Using the grain mill attachment: Do not turn the setting ring further once the end position for the coarsest or finest level is reached. Never use the attachment without food. Check food for foreign bodies before processing. Only process dry food. Clean the grinding mechanism thoroughly between different foods. Follow the instructions in Fig. 69 – 74.
How do I use the citrus press attachment with the BOSCH MFWS6?
The citrus press is suitable for pressing citrus fruit, e.g. lemons or oranges.

How do I clean the parts of the BOSCH MFWS6 Food Mincer?
Clean all parts immediately after use so that residues do not dry on. Do not use cleaning agents containing alcohol or spirits, sharp objects, or abrasive cloths. Never clean the metal chamber housing, threaded ring, and worm conveyor in the dishwasher, as water hotter than 40°C may affect the shiny finish.

How do I store the parts of my BOSCH MFWS6?
1. After cleaning, keep the dried accessories of the meat mincer attachment in the storage compartment for the pusher. See Fig. 85.
2. To store the perforated discs, take off the cover of the storage compartment on top of the main unit. Fit the perforated discs onto the holders provided and close the lid again. See Fig. 86.
What are the general processing instructions for the BOSCH MFWS6?
Meat mincer attachment
● All perforated discs are suitable for processing raw meat.
● Cut meat and large items of food into pieces so they fit into the filling shaft.
Sausage filler attachment
● Only process food that has been cut up fine with the sausage filler attachment.
● Soak natural casing in lukewarm water for 10 minutes before processing.
● Do not stuff casings too full or the sausages may burst during boiling or frying.
How do I troubleshoot common issues with the BOSCH MFWS6 Food Mincer?
