To ensure safe operation of your BLUE STAR SUPER COOLER SC375F-B, please adhere to the following safety guidelines:

1. Do not modify the power cord length, share the outlet with other appliances, or replace a damaged power cord with an unspecified one. A damaged cord must be replaced by an authorized service person.

2. Plug the power cord into the socket properly. A loose plug can cause electric shock or fire due to heat generation.

3. Do not switch the cooler ON/OFF with wet hands to avoid electric shock.

4. Use a dedicated power socket. Do not use an extension cord, as it can cause overloading and tripping.

5. Never splash water on the cooler, as it may cause a short circuit.

6. The appliance must be grounded (earthed) to reduce the risk of electric shock. Consult a qualified electrician if you have doubts about proper grounding.

7. When unplugging, always grip the plug firmly and pull it straight out from the outlet. Never pull on the power cord.

8. When moving the cooler, be careful not to roll over or damage the power cord.

15. The operating voltage range is 187-242V. To protect the compressor from voltage fluctuations, use a voltage stabilizer of at least 500W.

16. Use an individual single-phase socket reliably connected to a grounding wire. The grounding wire should not be connected to a water or gas pipe.

17. Do not store strong base, strong acid, organic solvent, corrosive goods, or items that can easily pollute food in the cooler.

18. Do not raise the showcase or the shell of the electric parts.

19. If the cooler will be out of use for a long time, disconnect the power, clean it, and examine the circuit before reuse.

1. Before use, ensure the cooler is properly installed and located as per the installation instructions.

2. Do not touch the cold surfaces in the cooler compartment when it is in operation, especially with damp or wet hands, as skin could adhere to them.

3. If you disconnect the plug, wait for 10 minutes or longer before reconnecting it to avoid operational failure.

4. Do not install the cooler in a wet place or where it may be splashed with water or rain.

5. Unpack all packages before use. Do not bend the cooler more than 60° while moving it.

6. Install the cooler in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, away from corrosive gas. It should not be close to heat sources or in direct sunlight. Allow more than 10cm of space between the wall and the back of the cooler. Ensure the unit is level and stable to avoid vibration and noise.

7. During the initial operation, let the cooler run empty for about one hour before storing food in it.

8. To save energy, avoid opening the door frequently or leaving it open for long periods.

9. Keep the surface and inside of the cooler dry and clean. Long-term moisture can cause rust.

10. Periodical cleaning is suggested every 30-45 days. Wipe the inside and surface with a soft cloth using neutral soap or detergent.

Failure to comply with installation instructions may result in high energy consumption and poor performance.

1. After unpacking, check the cabinet for any damage that may have occurred during transportation.

2. Ensure the cooler is installed on a stable surface/floor and is properly leveled. There are 2 adjustable feet at the front under the chassis. Adjust them until the unit is level, using a spirit level if available. Improper leveling might result in cabin deformation, affecting performance.

3. The cooler must stand upright for at least 1 hour after transportation and prior to start-up to allow the oil to run back to the compressor. If the cabinet was excessively tilted during delivery or installation, allow 3 hours before operation.

4. Allow a minimum gap of 100mm at the top, approx. 100mm at the rear (use the supplied rear spacer), and 50mm at the sides for proper ventilation. Do not place anything on top of the unit.

Do not place the cooler in the following locations:

• In direct sunlight or near heat sources like radiators, stoves, or other heating equipment.

• Outdoors, without proper protection from rain, moisture, and other atmospheric elements.

• In weather conditions for which it is not certified.

• In extreme environmental conditions (e.g., extensive exposure to saline humidity, areas with potential water accumulation).

• On a surface angled by more than 5°.

• Under a roof-mounted ventilation system and near to air streams.

To relocate the unit inside the outlet:

1. Empty the cooler and unplug it from the mains supply.

2. Fully extract the levelling feet.

3. Move the unit to the desired location with the help of another person.

Never attempt to reposition the unit when it is loaded with products.

To adjust a shelf:

1. First, unload the shelf completely.

2. Lift the shelf and unclip the four shelf clips that support it.

3. Place the clips in the desired new position.

4. Reposition the shelf onto the clips. Ensure that the horizontal metal rods at the bottom of the shelf are positioned between the front and back shelf clips.

Never reposition a shelf when it is loaded with products.

Connect the unit to a minimum 10A fused and grounded socket. Do not connect the merchandiser to:

• A non-grounded wall socket or power line.

• A supply with improper voltage and frequency.

• A power supply that does not comply with safety regulations or current electrical installation legislation.

Additionally:

• Do not plug the cooler into a multiple outlet strip or use extension cables.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service provider, or a similarly qualified person.

• Route the power cables so they are protected from damage and do not pose a tripping risk.

To minimize power consumption and improve performance, follow these tips:

• Load the unit at night for better cooling by day, as cooling consumes less power when the ambient temperature is lower.

• Store your back-up stock in a cool and/or dark place so that when reloaded, the unit will need much less time to cool them down.

• Wipe moisture off products before you place them in the unit.

• Avoid opening the door frequently or for long periods of time.

• After one year, the fluorescent tubes emit 30% less light. Call a service technician to replace them if you wish to have stronger lighting.

Before proceeding with any cleaning or maintenance, unplug the cooler.

• It is important to clean the cooler twice a year to avoid mould, odours, etc. The interior should be cleaned with a mildly soapy cloth, and the glass surface with a window-cleaning agent.

• Never use a water hose or high-pressure jet to clean the cooler.

• Do not remove safety devices such as grates, guards, or groundings.

• Keep the cooler in a stable position during cleaning; do not step on or lean over it.

• Do not clean with sharp objects, flammable or corrosive liquids, or sprays.

• If bottles break and liquid spills inside or around the appliance, unplug the cooler before cleaning. Take necessary precautions to protect yourself from broken glass by using protective gloves.

• Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children without supervision.

If the cooler does not work, check the following:

• Possible Reason: The power cord is not plugged in.
Handling: Plug it in.

• Possible Reason: No power is coming through the socket.
Handling: Check for a blown fuse or a tripped Mains MCB.

If the cooler is not cooling enough and the products are warm, consider the following causes and solutions:

• Reason: The unit was recently reloaded with warm products. It takes 12-19 hours to cool them down.
Solution: Preferably, reload the unit before night closing.

• Reason: The unit is placed near strong air streams or heat sources.
Solution: Relocate the unit according to the installation instructions.

• Reason: The unit is loaded in a way that blocks air circulation in the interior.
Solution: Load the unit according to the standards provided.

• Reason: The door does not seal properly.
Solution: The door needs repair for proper closing. This should be performed by a technician.

• Reason: No air is circulating in the condenser area.
Solution: This could be a fan motor failure. The motor needs to be replaced by a technician.

• Reason: There is a leakage in the cooling system.
Solution: The leakage needs to be repaired by a technician.

• Reason: The Controller/Thermostat is not functioning properly.
Solution: Contact the service provider.

If the unit is making noise, check the following:

• Cause: The cooler uses a powerful dynamic mechanism, so a certain amount of noise is normal.
Remedy: This is expected according to the product specifications.

• Cause: Intense metallic noise.
Remedy: Contact the service provider.

• Cause: The floor is inclined or curved.
Remedy: Level the unit properly by adjusting its feet. Using a spirit level on top of the unit can help.

If you find water on the floor, consider these possibilities:

• Cause: The drainage hose for condensate water is out of the tray.
Remedy: Contact the service provider.

• Cause: There is a leakage in the tray.
Remedy: Contact the service provider.

• Cause: The drainage hole for the condensate water is blocked.
Remedy: Unblock the drainage hole.

• Cause: Excessive humid environment.
Remedy: On days with high humidity, an overflow of the tray can occur.

If the lights are not working, check the following:

• Cause: The light switch (if available) is turned off.
Remedy: Turn on the light switch.

• Cause: The light (fluorescent tube/LED tube/LED Strip) is out of order.
Remedy: Contact the service provider.

If there is condensation on the glass, the likely cause is a very high humid atmosphere. On certain days with excessive levels of humidity, condensation could occur.

If you notice smoke or a burning smell, which could be caused by a burning electrical cable or similar issue, you must unplug the unit from the wall socket immediately and contact the service provider.

This product should not be mixed with household waste. It must be stored separately and disposed of through an authorized recycler of electrical and electronic appliance waste.
