Please adhere to the following safety instructions when using your BLUE STAR SUPER COOLER SC300F-B:

1. Do not modify the power cord length or share the outlet with other appliances. Do not replace the power cord with a damaged or unspecified one, as it can cause electric shock or fire. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an authorized service person as specified by the manufacturer.

2. Plug into the power socket properly. A loose plug can cause electric shock or fire due to heat generation.

3. Do not switch the Super Cooler ON/OFF with wet hands to avoid electric shock.

4. Use a dedicated power socket. Do not use an extension cord, as it can cause overloading and intermittent tripping.

5. Never splash water on your Super Cooler, as it may cause a short circuit.

6. The appliance must be grounded (earthed) to reduce the risk of electric shock. Consult a qualified electrician if you have doubts about proper grounding.

7. Never unplug the cooler by pulling on the power cord. Always grip the plug firmly and pull it straight out.

8. When moving the appliance, be careful not to roll over or damage the power cord.

9. Unplug the power cord before cleaning. Never touch it with wet hands.

10. Do not damage, process, pull out, or twist the power cord.

11. Do not place lit candles inside the Super Cooler to deodorize; it may cause an explosion or fire.

14. Position the Super Cooler so that the supply plug is accessible for quick disconnection in case of an accident.

15. The operating voltage range is 187-242V. To protect the compressor, use a voltage stabilizer of at least 500W if the voltage is outside this range.

16. Use an individual single-phase socket reliably connected to a grounding wire. The grounding wire should not be connected to a water or gas pipe.

17. Do not store strong base, strong acid, organic solvent, corrosive goods, or items that can easily pollute food in the showcase.

18. Do not raise the showcase or the shell of the electric parts.

19. If the showcase will be out of use for a long time, disconnect the power, clean it, and examine the circuit before reuse.

20. When transporting and installing, ensure no parts of the refrigerating circuits are damaged. If a leak is detected, avoid naked flames or potential ignition sources and ventilate the room for several minutes.

Please observe the following cautions for your BLUE STAR SUPER COOLER SC300F-B:

1. Before use, ensure the Super Cooler is properly installed and located as per instructions.

2. After the cooler is in operation, do not touch the cold surfaces inside, especially with damp or wet hands, as skin could adhere to them.

3. When reconnecting the plug, wait for 10 minutes or longer to avoid operational failure.

4. Do not install the Super Cooler in a wet place or where it may be splashed with water or rain, as this may cause electric leakage.

5. Unpack all packages before use. Do not bend the unit more than 60° while moving it.

6. Install the showcase in a cool, dry, well-ventilated environment, away from corrosive gas, heat sources, and direct sunlight. Maintain a space of more than 10cm between the wall and the back of the showcase. Ensure the unit is level and stable to avoid vibration and noise.

7. During initial operation, let the cooler run empty for about one hour before storing food in it.

8. To save energy, do not open the door frequently or leave it open for long periods.

9. The surface and inside of the showcase should be kept dry and clean. Long-term moisture can cause rust.

10. Periodical cleaning is suggested, ideally every 30-45 days. Wipe the inside and surface with a soft cloth using neutral soap or detergent.

Failure to comply with installation instructions may result in high energy consumption, poor performance, and voided warranty.

Installation Instructions:

• After unpacking, inspect the cabinet for any damage from transportation.

• Always ensure the merchandiser is installed on a stable surface/floor and is properly leveled. There are 2 adjustable feet at the front under the chassis. Adjust these feet until the unit is level, using a spirit level if available.

• The Super Cooler must stand upright for at least 1 hour after transportation and before start-up. This allows the oil to return to the compressor. If the cabinet was excessively tilted during delivery, allow 3 hours before operation.

• Allow a minimum gap of 100mm at the top, approximately 100mm at the rear (use the supplied rear spacer), and 50mm at the sides for proper ventilation. Do not place anything on top of the unit.

Do not place the cooler in the following locations:

• In direct sunlight or near heat sources (radiators, stoves & other heating equipment).

• Outdoors, without proper protection from rain, moisture, and other atmospheric elements.

• In weather conditions for which it is not certified.

• In extreme environmental conditions (e.g., extensive exposure to saline humidity, areas with potential water accumulation).

• On a surface angled by more than 5°.

• Under a roof-mounted ventilation system and near air streams.

IMPROPER LEVELLING MIGHT RESULT TO CABIN DEFORMATION AFFECTING PERFORMANCE.

Connect the unit to a power supply on a minimum 10A fused and grounded socket. If the supplied mains cord is not long enough, do not use an extension lead. Ask an authorized electrician to replace the cord with a longer one.

Do not connect the merchandiser to:

• A non-grounded wall socket or power line.

• Improper supply voltage and frequency.

• A power supply that does not comply with safety regulations or current electrical installation legislation.

Additionally:

• Do not plug the cooler into a multiple outlet strip or use extension cables.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service provider, or a similarly qualified person.

• Route power cables to protect them from damage and prevent tripping hazards.

To relocate the unit inside the outlet, follow these steps:

1. Empty the cooler and unplug the unit from the mains supply.

2. Fully extract the levelling feet.

3. Move the unit to the desired location in cooperation with another person.

Never reposition the unit when it is loaded with products.

To adjust a shelf (not applicable to units with a plastic inner liner):

1. First, unload the shelf.

2. Lift the shelf and unclip the 4 shelf clips.

3. Place the clips in the desired new position.

4. Reposition the shelf. Ensure the horizontal metal rods at the bottom of the shelf are between the front and back shelf clips.

NEVER REPOSITION A SHELF WHEN LOADED WITH PRODUCTS.

The evaporator fan inside the unit should be in continuous operation. When loading the unit, do not apply load, such as packs of products, on the front glass. This unit contains live components. Service tasks should be carried out by trained personnel only.

To save energy, minimize power consumption, and improve performance, follow these tips:

• Load the unit at night for better cooling by day, as cooling consumes less power when the ambient temperature is lower.

• Store your back-up stock in a cool and/or dark place so that when reloaded, the unit will need much less time to cool them down.

• Wipe moisture off the products before you place them in the unit.

• Avoid opening the door frequently or for long periods of time.

• After one year, fluorescent tubes emit 30% less light. Call a service technician to replace the fluorescent tubes or starters if you wish to have stronger lighting.

Before proceeding with any cleaning or maintenance, unplug the cooler.

Care & Cleaning:

• It is important to clean the Super Cooler twice a year to avoid mould formation, odours, etc. Product compartments must be thoroughly cleaned.

• The interior of the unit should be cleaned with a mildly soapy cloth and the glass surface using a window-cleaning agent.

• Never use a water hose or high-pressure jet to clean the cooler.

• Do not remove safety devices (grates, guards, groundings, etc.).

• Keep the cooler in a stable position during cleaning; do not step on or lean over it.

• Do not clean with sharp objects, flammable or corrosive liquids, or sprays.

• If bottles break and liquid spills inside or around the appliance, unplug the cooler before cleaning the spill. Take necessary precautions to protect yourself from broken glass (e.g., use protective gloves).

• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

To protect the environment from E-Waste, this product should not be mixed with household or general waste at the end of its usable life.
