To ensure safe operation of your BLUE STAR SUPER COOLER SC300F, please follow these precautions:

1. Do not modify the power cord length or share the outlet with other appliances. Do not replace the power cord with a damaged or unspecified one. If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by an authorized service person as specified by the manufacturer.

2. Plug into the power socket properly. A loose plug can cause electric shock or fire due to heat generation.

3. Do not switch the Super Cooler ON/OFF with wet hands, as it may cause electric shock.

4. Use a dedicated power socket for the Super Cooler. Do not use an extension cord; otherwise, it may cause overloading and intermittent tripping.

5. Never splash water on your Super Cooler, as it may cause a short circuit.

6. The appliance must be grounded (earthed) to reduce the risk of electric shock. Consult a qualified electrician if you have doubts about proper grounding.

7. Never unplug your Super Cooler by pulling the power cord. Always grip the plug firmly and pull it straight out.

8. When moving the appliance, be careful not to roll over or damage the power cord.

9. Unplug the power cord before cleaning. Never touch it with wet hands.

10. Do not damage, process, pull out, or twist the power cord to avoid fire or electric shock.

11. Do not place a lit candle inside the Super Cooler to deodorize, as it may cause an explosion or fire.

12. Do not use or store inflammable materials like ether, benzene, alcohol, medicine, LP gas, sprays, or cosmetics near or in the Super Cooler.

13. If you detect any strange smell or smoke, disconnect the power plug immediately and contact a service center.

14. Position the Super Cooler so that the supply plug is accessible for quick disconnection in an emergency.

15. The operating voltage range is 187-242V. To protect the compressor from damage due to voltage fluctuations, use a voltage stabilizer of at least 500W.

16. Use an individual single-phase socket that is reliably connected to a grounding wire. Do not connect the grounding wire to a water or gas pipe.

17. Do not store strong base, strong acid, organic solvents, corrosive goods, or items that can easily pollute food in the showcase.

18. Do not raise the showcase or the shell of the electric parts.

19. If the showcase will be out of use for a long time, disconnect the power, clean it, and examine the circuit before reuse.

1. Before use, the Super Cooler must be properly installed and located as per the installation instructions.

2. After the Super Cooler is in operation, do not touch the cold surfaces inside, particularly with damp or wet hands, as skin could adhere to them.

3. When reconnecting the plug, wait for 10 minutes or longer to avoid operational failure.

5. Do not install the Super Cooler in a wet place or where it may be splashed with water or rain.

6. Unpack all packages before use. Do not bend the unit more than 60° while moving it.

7. Install the showcase in a well-ventilated, cool, dry environment without corrosive gas. Keep it away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Ensure a space of more than 10cm between the wall and the back of the showcase. The unit should be level and stable to avoid vibration and noise.

8. During initial operation, let the cooler run empty for about one hour before storing food in it.

9. To save energy, avoid opening the door frequently or leaving it open for a long time.

10. The surface and inside should be kept dry and clean to prevent rust.

11. Periodical cleaning every 30-45 days is suggested. Wipe the inside and surface with a soft cloth using neutral soap or detergent.

Failure to comply with installation instructions may result in high energy consumption, poor performance, and voided warranty.

• After unpacking, check the cabinet for any damage from transportation.

• Always ensure the merchandiser is installed on a stable surface/floor and is properly leveled. There are 2 adjustable feet at the front under the chassis; adjust them until the unit is level, using a spirit level if available. Improper leveling might result in cabin deformation, affecting performance.

• The Super Cooler must stand upright for at least 1 hour after transportation and before startup to allow the oil to return to the compressor. If the cabinet was excessively tilted, allow 3 hours before operation.

• Allow a minimum gap of 100mm at the top, approx. 100mm at the rear (using the supplied rear spacer), and 50mm at the sides for proper ventilation. Do not place anything on top of the unit.

Do not place the cooler in the following locations:

• In direct sunlight or near heat sources like radiators, stoves, and other heating equipment.

• Outdoors, without proper protection from rain, moisture, and other atmospheric elements.

• In weather conditions for which it is not certified.

• In extreme environmental conditions, such as areas with extensive exposure to saline humidity or potential water accumulation.

• On a surface angled by more than 5°.

• Under a roof-mounted ventilation system and near air streams.

To relocate the unit inside your outlet:

1. Empty the cooler and unplug it from the main power supply.

2. Fully extract the leveling feet.

3. Move the unit to the desired location with the help of another person.

Never attempt to reposition the unit when it is loaded with products.

Note: This is not applicable to units with a plastic inner liner.

1. First, unload the shelf completely.

2. Lift the shelf and unclip the 4 shelf clips.

3. Place the clips in the desired new position.

4. Reposition the shelf, ensuring the horizontal metal rods at the bottom of the shelf are between the front and back shelf clips.

NEVER REPOSITION A SHELF WHEN IT IS LOADED WITH PRODUCTS.

Connect the unit to a minimum 10A fused and grounded socket. If the supplied mains cord is not long enough, do not use an extension lead; ask an authorized electrician to replace the cord with a longer one.

Do not connect the merchandiser to:

• A non-grounded wall socket or power line.

• A supply with improper voltage and frequency.

• A power supply that does not comply with safety regulations or current electrical installation legislation.

Also, do not plug the cooler into a multiple outlet strip or use extension cables. Route power cables to protect them from damage and prevent a tripping hazard.

For energy saving and better performance:

• Since cooling consumes less power when the ambient temperature is lower, load the unit at night for ready use of chilled drinks in the morning.

• Store your back-up stock in a cool and/or dark place so that when reloaded, the unit will need much less time to cool them down.

• Wipe moisture off the products before you place them in the unit.

• Avoid opening the door for long periods or leaving it open frequently.

• After one year, the fluorescent tubes emit 30% less light. Call a service technician to replace them if you wish to have stronger lighting.

Before proceeding with any cleaning or maintenance, unplug the cooler.

• It is important to clean the Super Cooler twice a year to avoid mould, odours, etc. The interior should be cleaned with a mildly soapy cloth, and the glass surface with a window-cleaning agent.

• Never use a water hose or high-pressure jet to clean the cooler.

• Do not remove safety devices like grates, guards, or groundings.

• Keep the cooler in a stable position during cleaning; do not step on or lean over it.

• Do not clean with sharp objects, flammable or corrosive liquids, or sprays.

• If bottles break and liquid spills inside or around the appliance, unplug the cooler before cleaning. Use protective gloves to protect yourself from broken glass.

• Cleaning and user maintenance should not be done by children without supervision.

Before calling for professional service, unplug the cooler and check the following:

If the problem remains after these checks, contact the customer service department.

To protect the environment, this product should not be mixed with household waste at its end-of-life. It must be disposed of through an authorized recycler.
