• Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

• Children less than 3 years old should be kept away unless continuously supervised.

If your BEKO DRX 832 WI dryer has a steam function, please follow these specific safety warnings:

• Use only distilled water or water condensed in the machine’s water tank for steam programs. Do not use mains water or additives. If using condensed water, ensure it is filtered and cleared of fibres.

• Do not open the door when steam programs are running, as hot water may be expelled.

• Before putting laundry in a steam program, any stains on it should be removed.

• You may only put laundry that is not dirty or stained but has an unpleasant odour into a steam (odour removal) program.

• Do not use any dry cleaning sets or additional materials in a steam program or any other program.

To ensure electrical safety when installing and using your BEKO DRX 832 WI dryer, follow these instructions:

• Connect the dryer to a grounded outlet protected by a fuse at the value specified on the type label. The grounding installation must be performed by a qualified electrician.

• The voltage specified on the type label must be equal to your mains voltage.

• Unplug the dryer when it is not in use, and during installation, maintenance, cleaning, and repair work.

• Do not touch the plug with wet hands. Never unplug by pulling on the cable; always pull out by grabbing the plug.

• Do not use extension cords, multi-plugs, or adaptors to connect the dryer to the power supply.

• The power cable plug must be easily accessible after installation.

• If the mains cable is damaged, it should be changed by the Authorized Service.

• If the dryer is faulty, it must not be operated until it is repaired by an authorized service agent.

• The appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by a utility.

To prevent the risk of fire, the following laundry or items must not be dried in your BEKO DRX 832 WI dryer:

Unwashed laundry items:

• Items soiled with oil, acetone, alcohol, fuel oil, kerosene, stain removers, turpentine, paraffin, petrol, or wax removers must be washed in hot water with plenty of detergent before being dried.

Specific items due to fire hazard:

• Garments or pillows bolstered with rubber foam (latex foam).

• Shower bonnets.

• Water-resistant textiles.

• Materials with rubber reinforcement and rubber foam pads.

• Clothing cleaned with industrial chemicals.

• Underwear that contains metal reinforcements should not be dried in the dryer, as they can come loose and damage the machine.

Also, check laundry for items such as lighters, matches, coins, metal parts, needles, etc., as they may damage the drum or lead to functional problems.

Yes, but you must use a specific fixing device between the two machines. This fitting device must be installed by an authorized service agent. The total weight of the washing machine and the dryer with a full load is approximately 180 kg, so the products must be placed on a solid floor with sufficient load-carrying capacity. A washing machine cannot be placed on top of the dryer.

Please refer to the following table for compatible washing machine depths:

* Min. height: Height with adjustable feet closed. Max. height: Height with adjustable feet opened maximum.

Install your BEKO DRX 832 WI dryer in a suitable location by following these guidelines:

• Install the dryer on a stable and level surface.

• Operate your dryer in a well-ventilated, dust-free environment.

• The gap between the dryer and the floor should not be reduced by materials such as carpet, wood, and tape.

• Do not cover the ventilation grilles of the dryer.

• There must not be a lockable, sliding, or hinged door that may block the opening of the loading door.

• Once installed, ensure the dryer’s rear wall does not touch anything (tap, socket, etc.).

• Place the dryer at least 1 cm away from the edges of other furniture.

• Your dryer can be operated at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C. Operation outside this range will be adversely affected.

• The rear surface of the tumble dryer shall be placed against a wall.

• Do not place the dryer on the power cable.

You can directly drain accumulated water through the water drain hose instead of periodically draining the water tank. To connect the water drain hose:

1. Pull the hose at the back of the dryer by hand to disconnect it from where it is connected. Do not use any tools.

2. Connect one end of the drain hose supplied with the dryer to the connection point from where you removed the product’s hose.

3. Connect the other end of the drain hose directly to the wastewater drain or to the washbasin.

Note: The water drain hose should be attached to a maximum height of 80 cm. Ensure the hose is not stepped on or folded between the drain and the machine.

To ensure your BEKO DRX 832 WI dryer is stable, turn the feet to the left or right until the dryer stands level and firmly on the floor.

It is normal to hear certain sounds from your BEKO DRX 832 WI during operation:

• A metallic noise from the compressor may be heard sometimes during operation.

• A pumping noise is normal as water collected during the cycle is pumped to the water tank.

To save energy when using your BEKO DRX 832 WI dryer, follow these tips:

• Spin your laundry at the highest possible speed when washing. This shortens the drying time and reduces energy consumption.

• Sort laundry depending on their type and thickness. Dry the same type of laundry together.

• Follow the instructions in the user manual for programme selection.

• Do not open the loading door during drying unless necessary. If you must open it, do not keep it open for a long time.

• Do not add wet laundry while the dryer is in operation.

• For models with a condenser unit, clean the condenser regularly (once a month or after every 30 operations).

• Clean the filter periodically.

• During the drying process, air the room well where your tumble dryer is operating.

Always follow the instructions in the “Programme selection and consumption table” and do not load more than the 8 kg capacity value. The following weights are given as examples of dry laundry weight before washing:

1. Plug in the drying machine.

2. Open the loading door.

3. Place the laundry into the drying machine without jamming them.

4. Push and close the loading door, ensuring no laundry is jammed in the door.

5. Select the desired program using the On/Off/Program selection knob. The machine will turn on.

Note: Selecting a program does not mean the program has started. You must press the Start/Stand-by button to start the program.

*Energy Label standard program (EN 61121:2012)

You can delay the end time of the program up to 24 hours with the End Time function. This function can only be activated before the start of the program.

1. Open the loading door and place the laundry.

2. Select the drying program.

3. Press the End Time selection button and set the delay time you wish. The End Time LED will illuminate.

4. Press the Start/Stand-by button. The End Time countdown starts.

You can add or remove laundry within the end time period. The displayed time is the sum of normal drying time and the end time.

The BEKO DRX 832 WI dryer has a child lock to prevent the program from being interrupted. When the child lock is activated, all buttons on the panel are deactivated except for the On/Off/Program selection knob.

• To activate: Press the “Drying Level” and “Buzzer” buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The child lock warning indicator on the screen will turn on.

• To deactivate: Keep the same buttons pressed for 3 seconds. The child lock must be deactivated to start a new program or to interfere with the current one.

The child lock deactivates automatically when the drying machine is turned off and on via the On/Off/Cancel knob.

Changing the Program:

You can change the selected program after the dryer starts running.

1. For instance, to change from “Iron Dry” to “Extra Dry”, turn the On/Off/Program selection knob to select “Extra Dry”.

2. Press the Start/Stand-by button to start the new program.

Adding and Removing Clothes during stand-by:

1. Press the Start/Stand-by button to put the dryer in Stand-by state. The drying operation will stop.

2. Open the loading door, add or remove laundry, and close the door.

3. Press the Start/Stand-by button to start the program again.

Cancelling the Program:

To cancel the program for any reason after the dryer starts running, turn the On/Off/Cancel knob. The program will be cancelled. Be aware that the inside of the dryer will be extremely hot. It is recommended to run the “Refresh” program to allow it to cool down.

You must clean the fibre filter and the inner surface of the loading door after each drying cycle.

1. Open the loading door.

2. The fibre filter is a two-part filter. Hold the first part (inner filter) and remove it by pulling it upwards.

3. Remove the second part (outer filter) by pulling it upwards.

4. Collect the hair, fibres, and cotton balls from both filter parts with your hand or a soft cloth.

5. If needed, clean both filters under water running in the reverse direction of fibre accumulation or with a soft brush. Dry the filter completely before placing it back.

6. Insert the fibre filters back into one another and place the combined unit back in its place.

The dryer has dampness sensors that detect if the laundry is dry. To clean them:

1. Open the loading door of the dryer.

2. Allow the machine to cool down if it is still hot from the drying process.

3. Wipe the metal surfaces of the sensor with a soft cloth, dampened with vinegar, and then dry them.

Important: Clean the metal surfaces of the sensors 4 times a year. Do not use metal tools when cleaning the sensors. Never use solvents or similar substances for cleaning due to the risk of fire and explosion.

Drain the water tank after each drying cycle. If you forget, the machine will stop during a subsequent cycle when the tank is full, and the Water Tank warning symbol will flash.

1. Carefully remove the water tank from its drawer or container.

2. Drain the water from the tank.

3. If there is lint accumulation in the funnel of the water tank, clean it under running water.

4. Place the water tank back into its seat.

Note: Condensed water is not drinkable. Never remove the water tank when a program is running. If you are using the direct water drain option, there is no need to empty the water tank.

If the drying cycle is taking too long, check the following potential causes:

• Clogged Fibre Filter: The pores of the interior and exterior fibre filters may be clogged. Wash the filters with warm water and dry them.

• Clogged Evaporator: The front side of the evaporator may be clogged. Clean the front side of the evaporator.

• Blocked Ventilation Grills: The ventilation grills at the front of the machine may be blocked. Remove any objects in front of the grills.

• Poor Ventilation: The room may be too small, causing the temperature to rise. Open a door or window to improve ventilation.

• Dirty Humidity Sensor: A layer of lime may have accumulated on the humidity sensor. Clean the humidity sensor.

• Overloading: An excessive amount of laundry might be loaded. Do not overload the drying machine.

• Inadequate Wringing: The laundry might not have been wrung adequately in the washing machine. Perform a higher speed wringing cycle on the washing machine.

If your dryer won’t turn on or start, check these points:

• Power Cord: The power plug might be unplugged. Make sure the power cord is plugged in.

• Loading Door: The loading door might be open. Ensure the loading door is properly closed.

• Program Selection: A program might not be set, or the Start/Pause/Cancel button might not have been pressed. Check that a program is set and it is not in the Pause position.

• Child Lock: The child lock may be activated. Turn off the child lock.

If the problem persists after following the instructions in the troubleshooting section, contact your vendor or an Authorized Service. Never try to repair your BEKO DRX 832 WI yourself.
