Please follow these safety instructions to protect yourself and your property:

• The BEKO TDEX 832 WI dryer can be used by children aged 8 years and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning its safe use.

• Children should not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children without supervision.

• Children under 3 years old should be kept away unless continuously supervised.

• Do not remove the adjustable feet. The gap between the dryer and the floor should not be reduced with materials like carpet, wood, or tape, as this can cause problems.

• Installation and repair procedures should always be carried out by an Authorized Service.

• Never wash the dryer by spraying or pouring water on it, as this poses a risk of electric shock.

• Connect the BEKO TDEX 832 WI dryer to a grounded outlet protected by a fuse with the value specified on the type label. The grounding installation must be performed by a qualified electrician.

• The voltage specified on the type label must match your mains voltage.

• Unplug the dryer when it is not in use, and during installation, maintenance, cleaning, and repair work.

• Do not touch the plug with wet hands. Always unplug by grabbing the plug, not by pulling the cable.

• Do not use extension cords, multi-plugs, or adapters to connect the dryer to the power supply.

• The power cable plug must be easily accessible after installation.

• If the dryer is faulty, it must not be operated until it is repaired by an authorized service agent.

• Superheating of clothes inside the dryer can occur if you cancel the program or in the event of a power failure while the dryer is running. This heat concentration can cause self-combustion and fire. Always activate the ventilation program to cool down or quickly remove all laundry from the dryer to hang and dissipate the heat.

• Ensure that the air inlet of the dryer is open and well-ventilated.

• The product contains R290 refrigerant, which is an environment-friendly but flammable refrigerant. Keep the product away from potential heat sources that may cause it to ignite.

To prevent fire hazards, the following items must not be dried in the BEKO TDEX 832 WI dryer:

• Unwashed laundry items.

• Items soiled with oil, acetone, alcohol, fuel oil, kerosene, stain removers, turpentine, paraffin, or wax removers. These must be washed in hot water with plenty of detergent before drying.

• Garments or pillows bolstered with rubber foam (latex foam), shower bonnets, water-resistant textiles, materials with rubber reinforcement, and rubber foam pads.

• Clothing cleaned with industrial chemicals.

• Underwear containing metal reinforcements should not be dried in the dryer, as they can come loose and damage the machine.

Also, check all laundry for items such as lighters, matches, coins, metal parts, needles, etc., which can damage the drum or cause functional problems.

Yes, but a special fixing device must be used between the two machines, installed by an authorized service agent. The total weight of both appliances with a full load is approximately 180 kg, so they must be placed on a solid floor with sufficient load-carrying capacity. A washing machine cannot be placed on top of the dryer.

Please refer to the following table for compatible washing machine depths:

• Install the dryer on a stable and level surface. It is heavy, so do not move it by yourself.

• Operate the dryer in a well-ventilated, dust-free environment.

• Do not cover the ventilation grills of the dryer.

• There must not be a lockable, sliding, or hinged door that may block the opening of the loading door where the dryer is installed.

• Once installed, make sure the rear wall does not touch anything (tap, socket, etc.).

• Place the dryer at least 1 cm away from the edges of other furniture.

• The dryer can be operated at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C.

You can directly drain accumulated water through the water drain hose instead of periodically emptying the water tank. Follow these steps:

1. Pull the hose at the back of the dryer by hand to disconnect it from where it is connected. Do not use any tools.

2. Connect one end of the drain hose supplied with the dryer to the connection point where you removed the product’s hose.

3. Connect the other end of the drain hose directly to the wastewater drain or to a washbasin.

Note: The water drain hose should be attached to a maximum height of 80 cm. Ensure the hose is not stepped on or folded.

Turn the feet to the left or right until the BEKO TDEX 832 WI dryer stands level and firmly on the floor.

It is normal to hear a metallic noise from the compressor sometimes during operation. It is also normal to hear a pumping noise as water collected during operation is pumped to the water tank.

Always obey the instructions given on the garment tags. Only dry laundry that has a label stating it is suitable for drying in a dryer. Items with a “Do not dry with dryer” symbol should not be dried in the machine. Delicate embroidered fabrics, woollen, silk garments, airtight items, and tulle curtains are not suitable for machine drying.

• Separate tangled laundry items after washing before placing them in the dryer.

• Dry garments with metal accessories, such as zippers, inside out.

• Fasten zippers, hooks, buckles, and button sheets.

• Spin your laundry at the highest speed possible when washing to shorten the drying time and reduce energy consumption.

• Sort laundry by type and thickness. Dry similar types of laundry together.

• Do not open the loading door during drying unless necessary. If you must open it, do not keep it open for a long time.

• Do not add wet laundry while the dryer is in operation.

• For models with a condenser unit, clean the condenser once a month or after every 30 operations.

• Clean the filter periodically.

• During the drying process, ensure the room where the dryer is operating is well-ventilated.

Do not load more laundry than the capacity values stated in the “Programme selection and consumption table”. The maximum capacity is 8 kg of dry laundry. The following weights are provided as examples:

*Dry laundry weight before washing.

1. Plug in the drying machine.

2. Open the loading door.

3. Place the laundry in the drying machine without jamming it.

4. Push and close the loading door, ensuring no laundry is jammed.

5. Select the desired program using the On/Off/Program selection knob. The machine will turn on.

6. Press the Start/Stand-by button to start the program. Note that simply selecting a program does not start it.

Buzzer / Time:

The dryer makes an audible warning when a program is completed. If you don’t want this warning, press the “Buzzer / Time” button. A light will illuminate, and no audible warning will be made when the program ends. You can select this function before or after the program starts.

End Time:

You can delay the end time of the program by up to 24 hours.

1. Open the loading door and place the laundry.

2. Select the drying program.

3. Press the End Time selection button and set the desired delay time. The End Time LED will illuminate.

4. Press the Start/Stand-by button. The countdown will begin.

You can add or remove laundry during the end time delay. The displayed time is the sum of the normal drying time and the end time.

The Child Lock prevents the program from being interrupted when buttons are pressed. When activated, all buttons on the panel are deactivated except for the On/Off/Program selection knob.

• To activate: Press the Drying Level and Buzzer buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.

• To deactivate: Keep the same buttons pressed for 3 seconds.

The child lock must be deactivated to start a new program or to interfere with the current program. When the child lock is active, the warning indicator on the screen turns on.

Changing the Program:

Yes, you can change the program after the dryer starts. For instance, turn the On/Off/Program selection knob to select a different program, then press the Start/Stand-by button to start the new program.

Adding and Removing Clothes:

1. Press the Start/Stand-by button to put the dryer in Stand-by state. The drying operation will stop.

2. Open the loading door, add or remove laundry, and then close the door.

3. Press the Start/Stand-by button to resume the program.

Note: Adding laundry after the operation starts may cause dried laundry to mix with wet laundry, leaving all laundry damp at the end. It is recommended to add all laundry before the program starts.

When the program ends, the Anti-Wrinkle and Fibre Filter Cleaning warning LEDs will illuminate. The loading door can be opened, and the dryer is ready for another run. Turn the On/Off/Program selection knob to the Off position to turn the dryer off.

If the laundry is not removed after the program is completed, the wrinkle prevention function activates for 2 hours. The program will tumble the laundry at 10-minute intervals to prevent wrinkling.

Always clean the fibre filter and the inner surface of the loading door after each drying cycle.

1. Open the loading door.

2. Hold the first part (inner filter) of the two-part fibre filter and remove it by pulling it upwards.

3. Collect the hair, fibres, and cotton balls by hand or with a soft cloth.

4. Remove the second part (outer filter) by pulling it upwards.

5. Clean both filters under water running in the reverse direction of fibre accumulation or with a soft brush. Dry the filter before placing it back.

6. Insert the fibre filters on one another and place them back in their place.

The dryer has dampness sensors that detect whether the laundry is dry. To clean them:

1. Open the loading door of the dryer.

2. Allow the machine to cool down if it is still hot from the drying process.

3. Wipe the metal surfaces of the sensor with a soft cloth, dampened with vinegar, and then dry them.

Note: Clean the metal surfaces of the sensors 4 times a year. Do not use metal tools to clean them.

Drain the water tank after each drying cycle. Condensed water is not drinkable. Never remove the water tank when a program is running.

1. Carefully remove the water tank from the drawer or container.

2. Drain the water in the tank.

3. If there is lint accumulation in the funnel of the water tank, clean it under running water.

4. Place the water tank back into its seat.

If you forget to drain the tank and it becomes full, the Water Tank warning symbol will flash, and the machine will stop. In this case, drain the tank and press the Start/Pause button to resume.

Clean the evaporator when the evaporator icon flashes or every 6 months.

1. Open the toe board by pressing on it.

2. To open the air routing door, move the release latch.

3. Clean the fibres on the evaporator fins with a damp cloth or a vacuum cleaner with a brush, moving upwards and downwards.

4. After cleaning, place the air router door back in its place, move the latches to close it, and close the toe board.

Warning: You can clean by hand if you wear protective gloves. Do not try to clean with bare hands, as the evaporator fins may damage your hands.

There are several possible reasons:

• The fibre filter pores may be clogged. >>> Wash the fibre filters with warm water and dry them.

• The evaporator front side may be clogged. >>> Clean the front side of the evaporator.

• The ventilation grills in front of the machine may be blocked. >>> Remove any object blocking the grills.

• Ventilation may be inadequate in the room. >>> Open a door or windows to prevent the room temperature from rising too high.

• A lime layer may have accumulated on the humidity sensor. >>> Clean the humidity sensor.

• An excessive amount of laundry might be loaded. >>> Do not load the drying machine excessively.

• Laundry might not have been wrung adequately. >>> Perform a higher speed wringing on the washing machine.

• A program not suitable for the laundry type may have been used. >>> Check the maintenance labels on the clothes and select a suitable program.

• The fibre filter pores may be clogged. >>> Wash the filters with warm water and dry them.

• The evaporator front side may be clogged. >>> Clean the front side of the evaporator.

• An excessive amount of laundry might have been loaded. >>> Do not overload the dryer.

• The laundry might not have been wrung adequately. >>> Perform a higher speed wringing on the washing machine.

• The power plug might be unplugged. >>> Make sure the power cord is plugged in.

• The loading door might be open. >>> Ensure that the loading door is properly closed.

• A program might not be set or the Start/Pause/Cancel button might not be pressed. >>> Check that the program is set and not in Pause position.

• The child lock may be activated. >>> Turn off the child lock.
