Before the first use of your BEAUTIFUL 19032, please follow these steps:

1. Remove all packing material and labels from the inside and outside of the Coffee Maker. Place the unit on a flat, clean surface.

2. Before preparing coffee, thoroughly clean the glass carafe, carafe lid, removable filter basket, permanent filter basket, and coffee scoop in hot, sudsy water. Rinse and dry. Replace disassembled parts. Note that the carafe, carafe lid, removable filter basket holder, and permanent filter basket are all top-rack dishwasher safe. The coffee scoop should be placed in the dishwasher alongside cutlery.

3. Clean the inside of the Coffee Maker by brewing 2 full carafes of tap water. Do not add the permanent filter basket or ground coffee for this initial cleaning.

4. Attach the charcoal filter into its location on the base of the water reservoir.

To operate your BEAUTIFUL 19032 coffee maker, follow these instructions:

1. Lift the Coffee Maker lid to view the stepped water level indicator. Make sure the charcoal filter is attached to the base of the water reservoir.

2. Fill the carafe with cold tap or distilled water and carefully pour it into the water reservoir. Do not operate the coffee maker when the reservoir is empty, ensure the water level is past the 2-cup step, and never exceed the 14-cup step.

3. Close the carafe lid and place the empty carafe into position on the warming plate.

4. Drop the removable filter basket into the housing.

5. Place the permanent filter basket on a flat, clean surface. Use the coffee scoop to add 1 scoop of ground coffee for every cup of coffee, adjusting to your personal preference.

6. Drop the coffee-filled permanent filter basket into the removable filter basket holder. Fold the permanent filter basket handle down.

7. Close the lid.

8. Plug the power cord into a 3-prong 120V AC electrical outlet. A tone will sound, and the default time of 12:00 AM will flash.

1. To brew coffee immediately, press BREW/OFF. By default, the Regular brew strength will illuminate.

2. When brewing is complete, 3 audible tones will sound. The Coffee Maker will display 0:00 as it advances to KEEP WARM. The time will count up to 4:00 hours.

3. At the end of the KEEP WARM cycle, 2 audible tones will sound as the Coffee Maker turns itself OFF.

You can press BREW/OFF at any time to turn the Coffee Maker OFF.

1. When the Coffee Maker is first plugged in, a tone will sound, and the default time of 12:00 AM will begin to flash.

2. Press the ‘-‘ button to adjust the HOUR.

3. Press the ‘+’ button to adjust the MINUTES. Pay attention to the AM and PM setting.

The Coffee Maker will enter sleep mode within 20 seconds if no buttons are pressed. To re-set the clock at any time, press SELECT until CLOCK illuminates, then the time will flash. Use the ‘+’ or ‘-‘ buttons to adjust the time.

The BEAUTIFUL 19032 can be programmed to begin brewing up to 24 hours in the future. Make sure the coffee maker is set up to brew (water reservoir filled, coffee grounds added, and empty carafe in place).

1. Press and hold the PROGRAM button for 1.5 seconds. The last programmed FUTURE BREW TIME will begin to flash.

2. Press the ‘-‘ button to adjust the HOUR.

3. Press the ‘+’ button to adjust the MINUTES. Pay attention to the AM and PM setting.

4. Press the PROGRAM button again or wait 5 seconds to confirm the time. The PROGRAM button will stay illuminated.

5. When the pre-programmed time is reached, brewing will begin.

6. At the end of the brew cycle, 3 audible tones will signal completion, and the Coffee Maker will advance to KEEP WARM.

7. To start the brew at the same time the next day, simply press the PROGRAM button, and it will illuminate.

Brew/Off: When pressed, the control panel illuminates. The button will pulse slowly until pressed again to start brewing. Press at any time to start brewing or turn the Coffee Maker OFF.

Program: Press and hold for 1.5 seconds to set the FUTURE BREW TIME.

– (Minus button): Press to adjust the HOUR.

+ (Plus button): Press to adjust the MINUTES.

– and +: Press and hold either button to fast reverse or fast advance the time.

Select: Press to cycle through and set Strength, 1-4 cups, Clock, Clean, or Keep Warm.

To adjust the brew strength on your BEAUTIFUL 19032:

1. Press SELECT until STRENGTH illuminates on the display.

2. Press ‘+’ or ‘-‘ to choose from the 3 brew strengths: Regular, Gourmet, or Bold. The active brew strength is displayed on the control panel.

For convenience, the last chosen brew strength will be the default for the next carafe of brewed coffee.

The 1-4 CUPS option automatically adjusts the brewing process for maximum flavor when brewing a smaller quantity (1 to 4 cups of 5 oz. each). To use this feature:

1. Program the 1-4 CUPS option immediately before brewing.

2. Press SELECT until 1-4 CUPS illuminates.

3. Press the BREW/OFF button to begin brewing.

Note: The Coffee Maker does not measure water quantity. When using the 1-4 Cup Mode, the entire contents of the water reservoir will be brewed.

The KEEP WARM time on your BEAUTIFUL 19032 defaults to 4 hours but can be adjusted from 0 minutes to 4 hours.

1. Press SELECT until KEEP WARM illuminates.

2. Press ‘+’ or ‘-‘ to adjust the KEEP WARM time.

The Pause & Serve feature on the BEAUTIFUL 19032 allows you to pour a cup of coffee before the entire carafe is brewed. When you remove the carafe from the warming plate, a flow valve stops the coffee from dripping. To prevent overflow, you must replace the carafe under the filter basket within 30 seconds. Dripping will resume once the carafe is returned to the warming plate.

• A clean Coffee Maker is essential for brewing great-tasting coffee. Regular cleaning is highly recommended.

• Always use fresh, cold water in your Coffee Maker.

• Finer grinds, such as drip and ADC coffee, promote fuller extraction and provide rich, full-bodied coffee.

• For optimum taste, program your Coffee Maker to brew coffee to your preferred STRENGTH: Regular, Gourmet, or Bold.

• For optimum brewed coffee flavor, buy whole beans and grind just before brewing.

• Do not re-use coffee grounds since this will greatly impair coffee flavor.

• Reheating coffee is not recommended. Coffee is at its peak flavor immediately after brewing.

• Small oil droplets on the surface of brewed, black coffee are due to the extraction of oil from the coffee grounds. Oiliness may occur more frequently if heavily roasted coffees are used. Overextraction may also cause oiliness, indicating a need to clean your Coffee Maker.

1. Always make sure the Coffee Maker is unplugged and the warming plate is cool before attempting to clean.

2. After every use, remove the permanent filter basket, discard used coffee grounds, and rinse thoroughly.

3. Wash the removable filter basket and glass carafe in hot, sudsy water. The carafe, carafe lid, removable filter basket holder, and permanent filter basket are all top-rack dishwasher safe.

4. Wipe the Coffee Maker exterior with a damp cloth to remove superficial stains. For stubborn stains, use a nylon or plastic pad with a non-abrasive cleanser. Do not use metal scouring pads or abrasive cleansers.

5. Dry and replace disassembled parts. Make sure the removable filter basket is properly seated in the housing.

6. Close the lid.

It is recommended to run the CLEAN cycle every 300 uses to descale your BEAUTIFUL 19032 coffee maker. The word CLEAN will automatically flash on the display when it is necessary. The entire cleaning cycle will take 45 to 60 minutes.

1. Before running CLEAN, remove the charcoal filter and filter holder from the water reservoir. Set aside for later use. Also, always remove the permanent filter basket and removable filter basket before activating the CLEAN cycle.

2. Combine 6 cups of white vinegar and 4 cups of cold water in the carafe.

3. Pour the vinegar solution into the water reservoir and close the Coffee Maker lid.

4. Place the empty carafe onto the warming plate.

5. Press SELECT until CLEAN illuminates. Press BREW/OFF. An audible tone will sound as the cycle begins. Part of the mixture will pass through in a slow 5-minute sequence. The remaining mixture will be held in the Coffee Maker and dispensed periodically for 45 minutes. You can press BREW/OFF at any time to turn the Coffee Maker OFF.

6. At the end of the CLEAN cycle, 3 audible tones will sound, CLEAN will disappear from the display, and the Coffee Maker will turn itself OFF automatically.

7. Discard the solution from the carafe. Wash the carafe, removable filter basket, and permanent filter basket in hot sudsy water.

8. Brew 2 or 3 carafes of fresh water through the Coffee Maker to rinse it.

9. Dry all parts thoroughly.

10. Replace the removable filter basket in the housing, then drop the clean permanent filter basket into place and lower the lid.

11. Place the empty carafe back on the warming plate.

1. Never store the Coffee Maker while it is still plugged in.

2. Unplug the Coffee Maker and allow it to cool completely.

3. Store the Coffee Maker fully assembled, with the permanent and removable filter baskets in position. Place the carafe on the warming tray and close the lid.

4. Use the cord storage area located on the bottom of the Coffee Maker to store the cord.

5. Store the Coffee Maker in its box or in a cool, dry place.

• Do not use a cracked carafe or one with a loose or weakened handle.

• The carafe is designed for use only on the warming plate of this Coffee Maker. Do not use it in a conventional oven.

• To avoid breakage, handle the carafe with care and avoid impact. Use care when filling with water to avoid hitting the faucet.

• Do not place a hot carafe on a cool or wet surface. Allow it to cool before washing or adding liquids.

• Do not set an empty carafe on a hot heating surface.

• Do not clean the carafe with steel wool pads, abrasive cleansers, or other materials that may scratch it.

• Do not bump, scratch, or boil the carafe dry.

• Discard the carafe if it is cracked, scratched, or was heated while empty for an extended period.

• Always make sure the lid is aligned with the spout before pouring hot coffee.

• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs only.

• To minimize property damage risk, never place the Coffee Maker under cabinets. Ensure the area several feet above is clear.

• Do not open the lid while coffee is brewing to prevent scalding.

• Unplug the unit when not in use and before cleaning. Allow it to cool before handling parts.

• Never use your Coffee Maker without water in the water reservoir.

• Do not set a hot glass carafe on a wet or cold surface.

• To interrupt the brewing cycle, press the brew/off button.

• Keep the Coffee Maker at least 4 inches away from walls or other objects during operation.

• Use only fresh, cool water in the Coffee Maker.

• Do not leave an empty carafe on the warming plate when the unit is ON.
