Do not discard the safety instructions; give them to the operators. For multiple hazards, read and understand the safety instructions before installing, operating, repairing, maintaining, changing accessories on, or working near the product. Failure to do so can result in serious bodily injury.

Alway wear impact-resistant eye protection during operation of the tool. The grade of protection required should be assessed for each use.

Use of the product can expose the operator’s hands to hazards, including puncture, impacts, cuts and abrasions. Wear suitable gloves to protect hands.

Do not modify this product. Modifications can reduce the effectiveness of safety measures and increase the risks to the operator.

Do not use the product if it has been damaged.

Ensure that the workpiece is securely fixed. Be aware that failure of the workpiece or accessories, or even of the ejected staple can generate high-velocity projectiles.

The risks to others should also be assessed at this time.

Hold the product correctly; be ready to counteract normal or sudden movements and have both hands available.

Avoid unsuitable postures as it is likely for these positions not to allow counteracting of normal or unexpected movement of the product.

While using the product, the operator should adopt a comfortable posture whilst maintaining a secure footing and avoiding awkward or off-balance postures. The operator should change posture during extended tasks; this can help avoid discomfort and fatigue.

Use only sizes and types of accessories and consumables that are recommended by the manufacturer of the product; do not use other types or sizes of accessories or consumables.

Proceed with care in unfamiliar surroundings. There can be hidden hazards, such as electricity or other utility lines.

The product is not intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres and is not insulated against contact with electric power.

Ensure that there are no electrical cables, gas pipes, etc., which can cause a hazard if damaged by use of the product.

Keep out of reach of children.

Keep any packaging materials away from children and pets – these materials are a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.

Check the product for transport damages.

Remove all the packing materials.

This product is intended for fastening insulation, house wrap, roofing, wiring, carpeting, upholstery, hobby and craft materials.

WARNING Risk of injury! Remove all staples from the product before locking.

To engage the safety lock (C), push the safety lock (C) towards the front of the tool (as indicated by the arrow in the first image).

To disengage the safety lock, press the trigger (A) down towards the bottom of the tool (as indicated by the downward arrow in the third image). The safety lock (C) will disengage as the trigger is pressed (as indicated by the arrow in the fourth image).

NOTICE Load the staples (B) with the staple leg(s) pointing up.

Step 1: Open the loading latch (D) by pulling the nose of the tool forward and then down, as indicated by arrow 1.

Step 2: Load the staples (B) into the bottom channel (E) with the staple leg(s) pointing up, as indicated by the downward arrows.

Step 3: Close the nose of the tool by pushing the nose forward and then up, as indicated by arrow 2, until the loading latch (D) clicks into place.

CAUTION Risk of injury! Do not place hands or body parts near the staple releasing area (F) to avoid injuries.

Press firmly on trigger (A) down onto a flat level surface. Repeat as required.

Step 1: Open the loading latch (D) by pulling the nose of the tool forward and then down, as indicated by arrow 1.

Step 2: Push the nose of the tool forward, as indicated by arrow 2, to release the jammed staple.

Step 3: Remove the jammed staple from the staple releasing area (F), as indicated by arrow 3.

To clean the product, wipe with a soft, slightly moist cloth.

Never use solvents, corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.

Avoid any vibrations and shocks.

Store in a cool and dry place away from children and pets, ideally in original packaging.

Lock the trigger (A) with the safety lock (C) before storing.
