To enter the Factory Test Procedure, follow these steps:

1. Disconnect electrical power from the ALLIANCE AWN43RSN115CW01 unit.

2. Reconnect electrical power to the unit.

3. Wait about 10 seconds.

4. Turn the Cycle Selection knob to the position opposite of Normal Eco and stay on that selection for at least one second.

5. Press and hold the Start/Pause button.

6. Change the Cycle Selection knob to Normal Eco within 5 seconds or the start press will be invalid.

7. Stay on Normal Eco for at least one second. The control will enter Factory Test Mode.

To advance through the sequence of test steps, press the Start/Pause button.

The Factory Test Procedure includes the following steps:

Test the mixing valve solenoids using an Ohm meter. The resistance readings are as follows:

120 Volt valves: 900 to 1100 Ohms

240 Volt valves: 3200 to 4000 Ohms

Note: Resistance readings slightly out of these ranges may be due to meter conditions and do not necessarily indicate mixing valve failure.

If the new control on the ALLIANCE AWN43RSN115CW01 is sending an error code (WASH and RINSE LEDs flash once) during the first fill, it could indicate that the pressure sensor harness has been installed incorrectly. Follow these steps to correct the error:

1. Disconnect electrical power from the unit.

2. Remove the screws holding the hood assembly to the rear hood panel.

3. Tip the control panel down to locate the H7 connection block (4-pin block with three wires: white, red and gray).

4. Press the connection block release arm and remove the block.

5. Relocate the connection block so the release arm is at the three o’clock position and matches the lock tab of the block on the control.

6. Re-install the control hood.

7. Reconnect electrical power to the unit.

8. Run the washer through a cycle to verify proper operation.

If the ALLIANCE AWN43RSN115CW01 has no hot water, check the following:

1. Is the water supply faucet closed? If yes, open the faucet.

2. Are the hoses reversed? If yes, connect to the proper faucets.

3. Is the hot water fill hose kinked? If yes, straighten or replace the hose.

4. Is the mixing valve screen or screen in the outer end of the fill hose nearest the water supply faucet clogged? If yes, disconnect the hot fill hose and clean or replace the screen.

5. Is the hot solenoid inoperative? If yes, replace the valve.

6. Is the pressure hose clogged or damaged? If yes, remove and clean or replace the hose.

7. Is the temperature selector switch operating properly? If no, Ohm out the selector switch using the wiring diagram.

Follow these steps to level the ALLIANCE AWN43RSN115CW01:

1. Place a level on the cabinet top and check if the washer is level from side to side and front to back.

2. If the washer is not level, tilt the washer back to access the front leveling legs. Loosen the locknuts and adjust the legs by screwing them into or out of the washer base.

3. Once adjusted, tilt the washer forward on the front legs and lower it back down into position to set the rear self-leveling legs.

4. The washer must not rock. When the washer is level and does not rock, tighten the locknuts securely against the bottom of the washer base.

When replacing or reinstalling the drive bell on the ALLIANCE AWN43RSN115CW01, torque the bolts to these specifications:

Drive Bell to Washtub and Hub: 100 to 140 inch-pounds [11.3 to 15.8 Nm]

Drive Bell to Top of Drive Shaft: 60 to 100 inch-pounds [6.78 to 11.3 Nm]

For models starting with Serial Nos. beginning 1804, you can advance to the final spin/drain step:

1. Make sure EXTRA RINSE is in the OFF position.

2. Press and hold the START/PAUSE button. After about three seconds, the current cycle status light will turn off.

3. Continue holding the START/PAUSE button for another 7 to 8 seconds until the SPIN light comes on, then release the button.

4. If the lid was unlocked, the LID LOCK light will come on and the lid will lock. Once locked, the machine will start to drain and spin.

If the ALLIANCE AWN43RSN115CW01 indicates a Pressure Sensor Error (WASH and RINSE status lights flash 1 time), follow these steps:

1. Check if the pressure sensor is connected to the front end control properly. If not, connect the sensor to the front end control.

2. Check if the pressure sensor harness is damaged. If yes, replace the pressure sensor harness.

3. If the Pressure Sensor error is still displayed, replace the pressure sensor. If the problem persists, replace the front end control.
