How do I start using the SMEG BCC11 for the first time?

First, unpack the SMEG BCC11 and remove all packaging. Rinse the removable components (water tank, lids, door, grounds container, drip trays, cup holder, and infuser unit) with warm water. Ensure all components are intact and free of cracks. Place the machine on a flat surface and fix the drip tray. Connect the power cable to the rear of the machine and to a power outlet. It is recommended to perform at least one coffee cycle to break in the circuits. It is also recommended to set the water hardness level.

Fill the water tank ensuring it does not exceed the Max level. Lift the coffee bean container lid and add coffee beans to the container. Check that the drip tray is correctly positioned. Press the power button, wait for the heating phase and the internal self-cleaning cycle to complete. Adjust the height of the coffee dispenser if needed for your cup size. Place your cup under the dispenser and press the key for the desired drink. Preparation stops automatically.
