Step 1. Connect the DC Power adapter to the AC Power receptacle port.

Step 2. Use the Power Button on the remote control to turn on or off the projector.

Step 3. Adjust focus as needed using the remote control.

The AAXA TECHNOLOGIES L500 features electronic focus adjustment. The focus range is from 40 inches to Infinity. To adjust clarity, ensure the projector is powered on and press the + or – focus buttons on the remote controller to adjust the image clarity on the screen.

The AAXA TECHNOLOGIES L500 features 4-way adjustable keystone. To access these settings, navigate to Settings, then Projection Settings, and select Keystone Correction.

Basic Keystone correction can be completed by adjusting Vertical Correction or Horizontal Correction.

For Complex Keystone Correction, select Corner Correction. This is adjusted by selecting each corner of the screen and adjusting the X or Y coordinate. The adjustments will push or pull the screen at each corner along the X or Y axis.

To use Corner Correction, press the OK key to navigate between the four corners. Use the Up, Down, Left, and Right keys to make adjustments, then press OK to move to the next corner.

The AAXA TECHNOLOGIES L500 supports 2.4g or 5g Wifi. Follow these steps to connect:

Step 1. Go to Settings and select Network Setting.

Step 2. Select the appropriate network from the list.

Step 3. Enter the network password.

Step 4. If the password was entered incorrectly, select Forget Network to try the process again.

The AAXA TECHNOLOGIES L500 has three external input sources: HDMI, USB, and AV. To select an input, use the remote control to navigate to the correct input icon (HDMI, AV, or USB) on the main menu.

For HDMI: Use an HDMI cable to connect the projector with an HDMI device such as a computer, HD player, or DVD player.

For USB: Insert a USB drive into the projector. The device should autodetect the drive. If it does not, manually select USB from the input selection menu.

For AV (RCA): Connect the 3.5mm end of the provided AV cable to the projector. Connect the RCA connector portion (video, left/right sound) to the appropriate connectors on your source device. Select AV from the input selection menu.

The AAXA TECHNOLOGIES L500 supports USB flash drives with a capacity up to 64GB. The supported file types for playback include videos, pictures, and music.

The AAXA TECHNOLOGIES L500 allows screen mirroring for both Android and Apple iOS devices. Android mirroring utilizes a direct P2P connection, while Apple iOS devices require a router or network host.

Step 1. Connect the projector to wifi.

Step 2. From the Main Menu, choose the My Apps icon.

Step 3. In the My Apps Menu, choose Android Mirroring or Airpin (PRO).

Step 4. For iOS: Use built-in AirPlay, AirPinCast, or AirPinPCSender. Ensure the device and the projector are on the same Wifi network. Select AAXA L500 in the Screen Mirroring menu.

Step 5. For Android: Use Smart Mirror or similar onboard casting functions. Select AAXA L500 as the display source.

The AAXA TECHNOLOGIES L500 features a customized Android 9.0 operating system. You can access streaming apps through the My favorites section at the bottom of the screen or through the My Apps icon. Note that most apps require paid subscriptions and availability varies by region.

Some apps may require a mouse for navigation. You can use the virtual mouse function on the remote control or plug a physical mouse into the USB port.

To download new applications, click on App Store. Be mindful of system memory as some apps are memory intensive.

The Settings Menu includes the following categories:

Projection Settings: Allows users to change projection orientation (Front Table, Rear Table, Inverted Ceiling, Rear Inverted Ceiling) and Keystone. Note that the L500 is not designed for ceiling mounting; do not mount it on the ceiling.

Network Settings: For managing Wi-Fi connections.

Bluetooth Settings: Allows connection to external Bluetooth speakers. Ensure Bluetooth is turned on, discover the speaker, and click on it to pair.

Application Management: Allows users to delete apps and clear cache to free up onboard memory.

Language and Input: Select keyboard type and language type. Supported languages include English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese.

Date and Time: These can be set manually, but will reset if the projector is unplugged.

Other Settings: Contains Advanced settings, including the Factory Reset option.

About: Displays the Model, System Version, Android Version, RAM, ROM, MAC Address, and WiFi MAC Address.
