Step 1. Ensure the Switch system is version 3.0.0 or above. Go to System Setting > Controller and Sensors > and turn on Pro Controller Wired Communication.

Step 2. Connect the 8BITDO PRO 2 controller to your Switch dock via its USB cable.

When connected to a Switch, the 8BITDO PRO 2 does not support NFC scanning, IR camera, HD rumble, motion controls, or the notification LED. Additionally, the controller cannot wake up the system.
