To ensure safe operation and prevent injury or damage, the following safeguards should be followed for the ZOJIRUSHI SF-GR50:

Keep the bottle out of reach of infants and small children to avoid the risk of scalding or injury.

Always clean the ZOJIRUSHI SF-GR50 thoroughly after use to prevent malfunctions such as rusting, perforation, or spoiled contents.

Always close the stopper tightly to prevent beverages from spilling and ensure the spout is closed after pouring.

Do not use the bottle if it loses its heat retention properties. If the outside of the bottle becomes very hot when hot beverages are poured inside, it is no longer functioning correctly.

Consume beverages within the same day to prevent spoilage. Beverages left inside for a long period of time may produce gas that increases internal pressure, potentially causing the stopper to burst or the cup to damage.

Do not place cans, bottles, or other objects inside the main body as they may deform or damage the unit.

Do not remove the sticker on the bottom of the main body, as doing so may cause malfunctions like rusting or perforation.

Do not drink out of the ZOJIRUSHI SF-GR50 while driving to avoid scalds, stains, or serious accidents caused by distraction.

Do not use the product for purposes other than holding and keeping beverages hot or cold.

Do not heat the bottle in a microwave or place it near heat sources such as gas stoves, ovens, and heaters.

Do not carry the bottle by the cup or stopper, and do not disassemble the main body.

You should leave 1cm (1/2 inch) of room on top when filling the ZOJIRUSHI SF-GR50. Filling the bottle beyond the ridge level may cause contents to overflow when placing the stopper. This can also cause the spout to become difficult to open or allow beverages to become caught in the stopper and leak out.

When the ZOJIRUSHI SF-GR50 contains hot beverages, please observe the following instructions:

Tilt the product slowly when pouring hot beverages to avoid accidental scalds.

Do not shake the bottle as it may cause scalds or injuries.

Be careful not to scald yourself when drinking hot beverages. The vacuum insulation prevents the outside of the main body from becoming hot, but the liquid inside remains very hot for many hours.

Always use the cup when drinking hot beverages from the ZOJIRUSHI SF-GR50. Never drink directly out of the bottle.

If the stopper becomes difficult to remove when the bottle is filled with hot beverages, press the button to open the spout and release internal pressure before attempting to remove the stopper. Do not forcefully remove the stopper as it may pop out and cause injuries.

Steam may burst out of the bottle when the stopper button is pressed if it is filled with hot beverages. When filling, close the stopper while keeping the spout open and wait 20 seconds before closing it.

Please avoid filling the ZOJIRUSHI SF-GR50 with the following substances:

Dry ice and carbonated drinks: These can cause pressure to build up, making the spout difficult to open or causing the stopper or cup to burst.

Liquids containing salt such as soup: Salt may cause rust in the liner, leading to a loss of thermal insulation.

Dairy products and fruit juice: If left for long periods, these can spoil and produce gas that may cause the stopper to burst.

Fruit pulp and tea leaves: These may get caught in the stopper and cause the bottle to spill or leak.

Do not leave a tea bag inside the bottle and close the stopper, as the bag may swell and cause contents to leak or splatter.

To keep the ZOJIRUSHI SF-GR50 sanitary and prevent odors, clean the product after each use according to these steps:

Outside Main Body: Wash with warm water and a mild dishwashing liquid using a soft sponge. Rinse, shake a few times to remove water, and wipe dry. Remove carrying straps before washing.

Cup and Stopper: Wash with warm water and mild dishwashing liquid using a soft sponge with a handle. Rinse and wipe moisture out to dry. Detach and wash gaskets after each use, ensuring they are reattached properly.

Inside Main Body: Fill with warm water, close the stopper, and pour the water out through the spout several times. Remove the stopper and wash the interior with warm water and mild dishwashing liquid using a soft sponge with a handle. Rinse and wipe dry.

Carrying Strap: Soak a soft cloth in warm water and dishwashing soap, wring well, and wipe the strap.

General Handling: Do not soak the bottle. Do not use paint thinner, benzine, metal scrub brushes, abrasive cleansers, or chlorine bleach. Do not use a dishwasher, dish dryer, or boil the parts to sanitize.

To remove rust spots or water stains caused by impurities in the water, fill the ZOJIRUSHI SF-GR50 with hot water containing 10% vinegar. Let it stand for 30 minutes to an hour without attaching the stopper, then wash the interior thoroughly.

To remove coffee and tea stains from the interior and the stopper, it is recommended to use the cleaning detergent SB-ZA01 or SB-ZA01E. Always remove the stopper when using this cleaning detergent.

After pouring a beverage from the ZOJIRUSHI SF-GR50, stand the bottle upright and wait 2 to 3 seconds before closing the spout. This prevents droplets from becoming caught in the stopper and leaking out later. Wipe off any excess liquids on the cup before closing, and store the bottle upright when carrying it inside bags to prevent spilling.

After washing, shake the stopper several times to remove any water left inside and wipe it dry to prevent water from dripping out later.
