Dry ice and carbonated drinks: These can cause pressure to build up, making the spout difficult to open or causing the stopper or cup to burst.

Liquids containing salt, such as soup: Even though the liner is stainless steel and nonstick coated, salt may cause rust resulting in loss of thermal insulation.

Dairy products and fruit juice: If left for long periods, these may spoil and produce gas that could cause the stopper to burst.

Fruit pulp and tea leaves: These may become caught in the stopper and cause the bottle to leak.

Do not leave a tea bag inside and close the stopper, as the bag may swell and cause contents to leak or splatter.

Outside Main Body: Wash with warm water and mild dishwashing liquid using a soft sponge. Rinse, shake a few times, and wipe dry. Remove carrying straps before washing.

Cup and Stopper: Wash with warm water and mild dishwashing liquid using a soft sponge with a handle. Rinse and wipe moisture out to dry. Detach and wash gaskets after each use, remembering to reattach them afterward.

Inside Main Body: Fill with warm water, close the stopper, and pour the water out through the spout several times. Remove the stopper, wash the interior with warm water and mild dishwashing liquid using a soft sponge with a handle. Rinse and wipe moisture out to dry.

Carrying Strap: Soak a soft cloth in warm water and dishwashing soap, wring well, and wipe the strap clean.

Do not soak the product.

Do not clean using paint thinner, benzine, metal wire scrub brushes, scrubbing brushes that include abrasive cleansers, polishing powders, cleansers, or melamine sponges.

Do not use chlorine type bleach, as it may cause rusting or perforation on the inner surface and spring.

Do not use a dishwasher or dish dryer.

Do not boil the product to sanitize it.

To remove rust spots or water stains caused by impurities in the water: Fill the bottle with hot water mixed with 10% vinegar and let it stand for 30 minutes to an hour without attaching the stopper, then wash the interior thoroughly.

To remove coffee and tea stains: Use Zojirushi cleaning detergent (SB-ZA01/SB-ZA01E, sold separately). Always remove the stopper when using this cleaning detergent.

After pouring, stand the bottle upright and wait 2 to 3 seconds before closing the spout. This allows any remaining liquid to flow back into the bottle.

Wipe off any excess liquids on the cup before closing.

Always store the bottle upright when carrying it inside bags to prevent beverages from spilling.

After washing, shake the stopper several times to remove water left inside and wipe it dry to prevent dripping.
