1. The location must be well-ventilated and the appliance must be placed on a firm, flat, moisture-resistant, and dry surface to prevent vibration and noise.

2. Keep the appliance away from heat sources like radiators, boilers, stoves, or direct sunlight to maintain efficiency.

3. Maintain adequate clearance: at least 5 cm at the top, at least 10 cm on both sides, and at least 5 cm at the back of the appliance.

4. Use the front adjusting legs to ensure the appliance is level; failing to do so may prevent the door from closing properly, affecting cooling performance.

5. If placed on floor coverings like carpets or PVC, use a solid sheet underneath to prevent discoloration due to heat dissipation.

6. After installation or moving, wait at least 4 hours before plugging it in to allow the compressor oil to flow back.

To reverse the door of the WISBERG WBVR170NFD, follow these steps with the help of another person:

1. Unplug and empty the appliance. Tilt it backwards slightly, resting it on a firm surface.

2. Remove the right hinge cover, unscrew the top hinge, and dismantle it.

3. Dismantle the left hinge cover point.

4. Remove the door cover and mount it on the other side. Lift the door off the hinge and place it on a soft surface.

5. Dismantle both adjusting legs and the bottom right hinge bracket. Unscrew the hinge pin from the bracket, flip the bracket, and re-screw the pin.

6. Install the hinge bracket on the bottom left and replace the two adjusting legs.

7. Remount the door, ensuring it is level horizontally and vertically so gaskets seal properly before tightening the top hinge.

8. Reinstall the top hinge bracket and covers.

9. Finally, remove, rotate, and reattach the door gaskets.

You can set the temperature of the WISBERG WBVR170NFD by pressing the ‘Set’ button. The setting is confirmed if the button is not pressed again within 5 seconds. The available temperature settings are -14, -16, -18, -20, and -22 degrees Celsius. The recommended setting for normal use is -18 °C.

To activate Super Freeze on the WISBERG WBVR170NFD, hold the ‘Set’ button for 3 seconds; the ‘Super’ symbol will light up. This mode cools the compartment quickly to help retain nutritional value and freshness. To turn it off, press the ‘Set’ button for 3 seconds again until the ‘Super’ symbol goes out. Note that this mode consumes more energy than normal operation.

1. The maximum freezing capacity in 24 hours is 13 kg. Do not add new items to freeze while the appliance is in the 24-hour freezing process.

2. Allow hot food to cool to room temperature before placing it in the freezer.

3. Use small portions for faster freezing, which also makes thawing easier.

4. Pack food airtight in bags to prevent cross-contamination and moisture loss. Ensure they are dry if multiple bags are frozen together.

5. Maintain space between food items to allow cold air to circulate properly.

6. Do not place filled glass or can packages in the freezer as they may break due to volume expansion.

7. Do not store carbonated or sparkling drinks in the freezer compartment.

To keep your WISBERG WBVR170NFD clean and efficient:

1. Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.

2. The appliance features an automatic defrosting system. If you notice ice formation, contact customer service.

It is normal for the side panels of the WISBERG WBVR170NFD to become hot, especially shortly after installation or while the unit is working to reach its internal target temperature. This occurs because the heat exchanger components are located on the sides of the appliance.
