How do you adjust the volume?

Press the [VOL-] (decrease) and [VOL+] (increase) buttons on the remote control or the subwoofer to adjust volume. The volume of the subwoofer can be adjusted by pressing the [SW-] and [SW+] buttons on the remote control. The volume of individual channels can also be adjusted with the following remote control buttons:

  • FL [ + ][ – 1 Button – Adjust volume of surround-left speaker
  • CEN [ + ][ – 1 Button – Adjust volume of center speaker
  • FR [ + ][ – 1 Button – Adjust volume of surround-right speaker
  • SL [ + ][ – 1 Button – Adjust volume of rear-left speaker
  • SR [ + ][ – 1 Button – Adjust volume of rear-right speaker

How do you mute/unmute the volume?

Press the [MUTE] button on the remote control to mute/unmute volume of all speakers.


How do you change modes?

The speaker can switch between multiple input modes. Once the system is set up, use the [MODE] button on the subwoofer or the [AUX] [DVD] [OPT.] or [BT] buttons on the remote control to change inputs.


How do you play music wirelessly?

To enjoy music wirelessly on the system, make sure that it is properly paired to your mobile device or are connected via the input panel. If you are pairing the device for the first time, please consult the Pairing the Speaker section of this user guide.


How do you play/pause music?

Press the [ ► II] button on the side of the subwoofer or on the remote control to play/pause media playback.


How do you skip tracks?

Quick press the [H<] and [,.i] buttons on the remote control to skip tracks.

How do you use the Auxiliary Input?

To use the AUX input on the speaker system, plug the RCA connectors from one of the supplied audio cable into the right and left inputs in the AUX Input section (outlined in RED) on the back panel of the subwoofer and plug the other end into the output jack of your media-playing device. When using RCA cables, the RED connector typically corresponds to the RIGHT channel for both input and output.


How do you use the 5.1 Channel or DVD Input?

The 5.1 Channel input allows you to plug in a combined front -left and -right speakers, center, and side-left and -right speakers using RCA connectors. Plug the RCA connectors into the 5.1 CH INPUT panel (outlined in BLUE) on the back of the subwoofer and plug the other ends into the output jacks of your media-playing device.


How do you use the Optical Input?

The Optical input allows you to plug in your media-playing device using optical cables. Plug the optical cable (not included) into the optical jack in the Opt Input section on the back of the subwoofer.


How do you change to your desired input?

Once your input of choice is set up, press the [MODE] button on the subwoofer’s control panel or on the remote control to change to your desired input. The LED panel on the front of the subwoofer will display your selected input: bt – Bluetooth input, AU – Auxiliary input, dU – 5.1 Channel or DVD input, OP – Optical input.


What are the buttons on the front of the subwoofer and what do they do?

The buttons on the front of the subwoofer are:

  • [MUTE] Button – Mute/unmute volume
  • [MODE] Button – Change input mode
  • [STANDBY] Button – Enter/leave standby mode
  • [VOL-][VOL+] Button -Adjust volume

What do you do if the provided plug does not fit into your outlet?

When the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.


What should you do during lightning storms or when the unit is unused for long periods of time?

Unplug the apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.


What do you do if the apparatus is damaged?

Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged; liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus; the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.


What should you do to avoid the risk of fire or electric shock?

To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture. The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing, and objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall not be placed on apparatus.


What should you do when replacing the battery?

Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like. Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.


What is the caution regarding the power plug?

CAUTION: TO PREVENT ELECTRIC SHOCK, MATCH WIDE BLADE OF PLUG TO WIDE SLOT, FULLY INSERT.


What should you not do to the unit to avoid hazardous radiation exposure?

Use of controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other than those specified may result in hazardous radiation exposure.


What should you do if you modify the unit?

Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.


What do you need to do if you use the unit on furniture?

Do not place this unit directly onto furniture surfaces with any type of soft, porous, or sensitive finish. As with any rubber compound made with oils, the feet of this unit may cause marks or staining where they reside. It is recommended using a protective barrier such as a cloth or a piece of glass between the unit and the surface to reduce the risk of damage and/or staining.


What should you do if the unit is displaying erratic behavior?

Use of this unit near fluorescent lighting may cause interference regarding use of the remote. If the unit is displaying erratic behavior move away from any fluorescent lighting, as it may be the cause.


What should you do if the unit is not working?

Do not open this product or attempt to repair the unit yourself should it not be working.

  • Call the Customer Support number located below, or go to our website portal to receive an SRO number.
  • Provide proof of the date of purchase with in the package (dated bill of sale).
  • Prepay all shipping costs to the authorized service center, and remember to insure your return.
  • Include a return shipping address (no P.O. Boxes), a telephone contact number, and the defective unit within the package.
  • Describe the defect or reason you are returning the product.

What does the warranty not cover?

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation or operation, lack of reasonable care, and unauthorized modification. This warranty is voided in the event any unauthorized person opens, alters or repairs this product.

How do you set up the speaker system?

Please consult the Setup and Installation page packaged with this product for a full description about how to set up the speaker system.


How do you power the speakers?

  • Plug the power cord on the subwoofer into a wall outlet.
  • Plug the power cord on the sound bar into a wall outlet.
  • Plug the power cord on the rear speakers into a wall outlet.

How do you use the standby mode?

Once set up and plugged in, the system will be powered ON and in standby mode, rendering it inactive and on low power. Press the [STANDBY] button on either the remote control or front of the subwoofer to enter/leave standby mode.


How do you replace the remote control battery?

To replace or install the battery, push and slide the battery door out from the remote control. Replace the battery with a new CR202S battery with the positive(+) polarity facing up. Remove the protective piece of plastic on the battery before using for the first time.


How do you pair a Bluetooth device?

  1. After setting the speaker up, press the [STANDBY] button on the front of the subwoofer or on the remote control. The LED display will flash bt.
  2. Set your mobile device to search for Bluetooth devices. Once your mobile device finds the speaker, select the WHBTS1002 from the list of found devices.
  3. After a successful pairing, a tone will be heard and the LED display will show bt.
