To set the hours on a 2-line display: With the ignition on, select the clock function by pressing the button for less than 2 seconds until a clock symbol appears. To activate the hour set function, keep the button pressed until the display starts flashing, then press the button quickly to change the numbers in ascending order.

For the minute set function on a 2-line display, keep the button pressed until the display starts flashing, then press the button quickly to change the numbers in growing order. Press the button for more than 2 seconds to return to the partial odometer function.

On 3-line displays: With the ignition on and without radio information on the display, slightly turn the button counterclockwise to set the hour and clockwise to set the minutes. Moving the button until it reaches one unit before the exact minute and turning it again to the right when another clock reaches the full minute allows for precise synchronization.

For vehicles from 2010 onwards, turn the ignition off, then press and hold the button next to the speedometer. Turn the ignition on while holding the button for approximately 10 seconds. The display will resume the normal indication.

Remove any contaminated grease residue from the stop. Lubricate the inside of the stop with G000 405 A2 silicone grease.

For identification letters AQZ and BAH, the fire extinguisher is located on a support on the lower front section of the passenger’s seat. Check that the pressure gauge indicator is within the green range. The green range indicates the extinguisher is charged, while the red range indicates it is discharged. Always check for possible oxidation, ensure the inviolability seal is intact, and verify the expiration date printed on the cylinder.

If the battery has been disconnected, the automatic closing function must be reprogrammed. Press the window switch until the window is fully closed, and keep the switch pressed for a few more seconds. Repeat this operation for the other doors.

Visually inspect the battery case for damage or leaks. Check the battery poles for damage. Ensure the battery is firmly fastened by checking the fastening screw, which should be tightened to 25 Nm if necessary. To check terminal seating, press the locks to tilt the positive battery pole cover, and use alternate movements of the positive and negative cables to ensure they are firmly fastened to the poles. If a terminal is not firmly fastened, you must first disconnect the negative battery terminal to avoid accidents. Terminal screws should be tightened to 5 Nm.

Fires, sparks, open flames, and smoking are strictly prohibited around the battery. Avoid electrostatic discharges when handling electrical devices. Wear protective goggles and gloves, as battery acid is highly corrosive. Keep children away. If charging the battery, a highly explosive mix of oxy-hydrogen gas is produced. Dispose of old batteries only at authorized collection centers and never discard them in domestic waste. Do not tilt the battery to prevent acid leaks from degassing openings.

The vehicle must have been turned off for at least 2 hours before checking. You can check the charge indicator “inspection glass”. Tap lightly on the glass with a screwdriver handle to eliminate any air bubbles that could interfere with the reading. Green indicates the battery is sufficiently charged; black indicates no or insufficient charge; colorless or yellow indicates the battery must be replaced. For a precise assessment, use a battery test device with a printer.

After turning off the engine, wait at least 3 minutes for the oil to return to the crankcase. Pull out the dipstick, clean it with a cloth, and push it back in until it stops. Pull it out again to read the level. The oil level must be between the minimum and maximum markings. Do not exceed the maximum marking to avoid damaging the catalytic converter.

Check the operation of the sunroof. Clean the guide rails and lubricate them using Special grease G 000 450 02.

Relieve the load from the coil springs by lifting the vehicle with a workshop lift. Remove the safety blocking devices from the suspension column. Move the shock absorber rod protection bellows upwards, remove the blocking device from the shock absorber rod, and then move the protection bellows back downwards.

Visually inspect the padded surface of both the driver’s steering wheel airbag and the passenger side dashboard airbag for external damage. The padded plates must not be glued, coated, or reworked, and should only be cleaned with a dry cloth or a cloth moistened with water.

With the front bonnet closed, adjust the jet by moving the nozzle tab slightly with your hand, upward or downward. Support the ejector with your hand while performing the adjustment to prevent it from moving out of the housing. Never use needles or similar objects to clean or adjust the nozzle, as this might damage the water passage.

Check the tread and sides for damage, removing any foreign bodies. Check for uneven wear. Tyres must be replaced when the tread wearing reaches the TWI (Tread Wear Indicators) at the bottom of the grooves, which corresponds to approximately 1.6 mm. It is recommended to replace tyres when the groove depth reaches 3 mm.

Aspirate the oil using an oil aspirator or remove the oil draining plug. If removing the plug, remove the sealing ring, drain the oil, and install a new sealing ring before reinstalling the plug. Tightening torque for the draining plug is 30 Nm for both 3-cylinder and 4-cylinder engines. Do not exceed this torque to prevent leaks.

For the delivery inspection, the fluid level must be at the maximum marking. For regular inspection, the level must be assessed based on brake pad wear. If the pads are new, the level must be between the minimum and maximum markings. If the level drops below the minimum, check the brake system before replenishing.

Ensure tyre pressure is correct, lenses are not damaged, and the fuel tank is at least 90% full (or simulate the weight). The vehicle and headlight aligner must be on a level surface. Adjust the main headlights from the front using a suitable Philips wrench. For fog lights, turn the setscrew to the right to reduce beam focus.
