When using the TRITON 860 dryer, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury:

• Read all instructions carefully.

• This appliance is for INDOOR USE ONLY and not intended for outdoor use.

• Young children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

• Do not place naked flame sources, such as candles, on the appliance.

• Position the appliance and cord away from heat sources like radiators, heaters, or direct sunlight.

• Ensure ventilation openings are not blocked or covered.

• Arrange the power cord away from traffic areas to prevent it from becoming a trip hazard.

• To disconnect, turn the appliance off, switch off the power outlet, and then remove the plug.

• Do not misuse the cord. Never carry the appliance by the cord or pull it to disconnect.

• Do not operate the appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, or if it has been damaged in any way.

• Do not attempt to repair, disassemble, or modify the appliance yourself. Service must be done by a qualified person.

• Do not use an extension cord with this appliance.

• Do not install in a tight-fitting cabinet.

• Do not overload the tumble dryer.

• Ensure foreign objects do not enter the tub of the dryer.

• The door window may be hot after a long drying cycle. Keep children away.

• If not wall-mounted, place the dryer on a flat, firm, dry, and drafty surface. Do not place it on soft material like foam or plastic.

• After turning off the power, wait at least 2 minutes before turning it back on.

• Remove all transport packaging from the rear of the dryer before use.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified person to avoid a hazard.

Oil-affected items can ignite spontaneously, especially when exposed to heat sources such as in the TRITON 860 tumble dryer. The items become warm, causing an oxidation reaction in the oil. This oxidation creates heat. If the heat cannot escape, the items can become hot enough to catch fire. Piling, stacking, or storing oil-affected items can prevent heat from escaping and create a fire hazard.

To minimize this risk, observe the following:

• Items spotted or soaked with vegetable or cooking oil constitute a fire hazard and should not be placed in the tumble dryer.

• If it is unavoidable that fabrics containing vegetable or cooking oil, or that have been contaminated by hair care products, be placed in the dryer, they should first be washed in hot water with extra detergent. This will reduce, but not eliminate, the hazard.

• Items soiled with substances like cooking oil, acetone, alcohol, petrol, kerosene, spot removers, turpentine, waxes, and wax removers should be washed in hot water with extra detergent before being dried.

The following items should not be placed in the TRITON 860 tumble dryer:

• Unwashed items.

• Items such as foam rubber (latex foam), shower caps, waterproof textiles, rubber-backed articles, and clothes or pillows fitted with foam rubber pads.

• Items previously cleaned in, washed in, soaked in, or spotted with petrol/gasoline, dry-cleaning solvents, or other flammable or explosive substances.

• Items containing highly flammable substances like acetone, denatured alcohol, kerosene, some spot removers, turpentine, waxes, and wax removers.

• Foam rubber materials can produce fire by spontaneous combustion when heated.

• Undergarments that contain metal reinforcements, as they can come loose and damage the dryer.

• Plastic articles such as shower caps or babies’ waterproof napkin covers.

• Rubber-backed articles, clothes fitted with foam rubber pads, pillows, galoshes, and rubber-coated tennis shoes.

• Delicate items like underwire bras, unless placed in a nylon net bag.

The TRITON 860 dryer is required to be plugged into a 110 V three-pin socket that is reliably grounded. Plug the power cord directly into the socket.

Follow these steps for proper loading:

1. Check items for combustible materials or foreign objects like lighters, hairpins, or coins, and remove them.

2. Turn items with zippers inside out and fasten buckles.

3. Place items into the dryer one at a time to prevent tangling and uneven drying.

4. Separate dark and light-colored items.

5. For best results, load the dryer with similar fabrics. Place small, delicate items in a mesh bag.

6. Do not overload the dryer. The maximum mass is 13 lbs of dry textile material.

7. When closing the door, ensure that items are not jammed.

POWER Button: Press to power the dryer on or off. When you are done using the dryer, the light will remain on until you press this button to turn it off completely.

Refresh Button: Press this button to fluff clothes. This function runs for 10 minutes and can be used after a drying procedure ends.

Program Button: Press to cycle through the drying program options:

• Extra Dry: A Sensor Dry program that automatically detects when clothes are dry (humidity <35%). It then stops heating and runs a 10-minute air cooling cycle before stopping.

• Normal Dry: A Sensor Dry program that automatically detects when clothes are dry (humidity ≤40%). It then stops heating and runs a 10-minute air cooling cycle before stopping.

• Damp Dry: A Sensor Dry program that automatically detects when clothes are dry (humidity ≤45%). It then stops heating and runs a 10-minute air cooling cycle before stopping.

• 60m Time Dry: A fixed 60-minute cycle that heats at full power for 50 minutes, followed by a 10-minute air cooling cycle. The “Temp” feature is deactivated during this program.

Temp Button: Press to cycle through the temperature options:

• High: Full power heating.

• Medium: The dryer alternates between full and half power in 10-minute cycles.

• Air: No heat, air circulation only.

START/Pause Button: Press to start or pause the dryer operation. If the door is opened during a cycle, close the door and press this button to restart. To change a program, press “Pause,” select the new program, and then press “Start” to begin the new cycle.

Child Lock: To activate, press and hold the “Program” and “Temp” buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds until the “Child Lock” light comes on. All buttons will be locked. To unlock, press and hold the “Program” and “Temp” buttons again for 3 seconds.

Drying times can be affected by many factors, such as material, bulkiness, and how full the dryer is. The following table is a guide only.

Place the TRITON 860 dryer in a dry, well-ventilated area. It should be positioned away from heat and direct sunlight. If the dryer is not wall-mounted or stacked, it must be placed on a firm, horizontal ground. Do not place the dryer on a carpet, as this will block the air intake. There should be at least 3.9 inches (10 cm) of space between the dryer and the wall.

A minimum of 1.96 inches is needed between the top of the dryer and the ceiling. If mounting above a washing machine, allow sufficient room to open the washer lid. The following tools and parts are required:

• Drill & 0.11″ Bit

• Philips Head screwdriver

• Wood Screws (4), Ф0.47″x 1.96″ Timber screws

• A helper to lift the dryer onto the wall

Follow these steps:

1. Determine the dryer’s position on the wall and mark the required bracket positions. This dryer is not suitable to be placed directly on top of a washing machine.

2. Fix the two supplied wall hanging brackets to the wall securely (e.g., into a stud). If the stud position is too wide, fit a timber slat between the studs to mount the brackets on.

3. Install the hanging hook to the wood using the 0.98″ long screws.

4. Align the hanging hooks and fasten the screws tightly.

5. Install the exhaust pipe: Adjust the direction of the exhaust outlet as needed.

6. Use the 0.11″ x 0.62″ screws (provided) to fix the outlet in place firmly.

7. Use the 0.15″ x 0.47″ screws (provided) to fix the two spacers to the back of the dryer.

8. With assistance, mount the dryer onto the wall bracket.

An additional set of legs for the TRITON 860 dryer is included for side-by-side (non-stacking) applications. These legs can be used to increase the dryer’s height to match a washer when placed next to it, so that both units look equal in height. They can also be used to increase the overall height to reduce bending.

Always unplug the power cord before cleaning. The lint filter must be in place whenever drying and must be cleaned before each use.

Removing the filters:

The filter assembly is located inside the drum at the back. Remove it by pulling outwards with your fingers inserted into the four holes around the exhaust vent shroud. The filter is in 3 parts: Exhaust vent shroud, lint filter, and exhaust filter.

Cleaning the filter:

1. Separate the “exhaust vent shroud,” “lint filter,” and “exhaust filter.”

2. Clean the lint on the lint filter and exhaust filter with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner. Do not damage the filters.

Re-installing the filter:

1. After cleaning, assemble the parts in the sequence of “exhaust filter – lint filter – exhaust vent shroud.”

2. Align the recesses in the center with the projection in the center of the drum.

3. Make sure that it is firmly inserted.

Note: The filter fixed in the bottom of the drum should also be cleaned with a soft brush.

The air intake filter, located at the bottom front of the dryer, should be cleaned once a month.

1. Remove the Air Intake Shroud by pulling outwards, holding the upper and lower ends.

2. Slightly push upwards with your thumb until the latch hook disconnects, then remove.

3. Remove the filter inside the shroud and clean it with a soft brush.

4. Reassemble and install as before.

• Do not wash the dryer directly with water.

• Do not use thinner, gasoline, or alcohol.

• Do not use any type of spray cleaner when cleaning the interior. If the dryer drum becomes stained, clean it with a damp cloth and remove any residue before drying the next load.

• Clean the cabinet with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners, as this could damage the dryer.

If there is no response, check if the power plug is inserted firmly into the wall socket. If not, insert the power plug firmly.

If the drum does not turn, check the following:

• Is the door closed? If not, close the door.

• Is the power plug firmly inserted? If not, insert it firmly.

• Does the socket have power? If power is switched on at the wall socket, check the socket with another appliance.

If hot air is not blowing out, check if the temperature is incorrectly set to “Airing.” Set the temperature to Half or Regular heat.

If your laundry is not completely dry, consider the following causes and solutions:

• Clogged filters: Check and clean the front and back filters.

• Overloading: Is there too much laundry in the dryer? Reduce the amount in the dryer.

• Items added mid-cycle: Have items been added while the dryer was in operation? Re-dry the items again.

• Twisted laundry: Has the laundry become twisted while drying? Untwist the items and re-dry.

• Poor ventilation: Has the dryer been placed in a small and badly ventilated area? Place the dryer in a well-vented area.

If the dryer does not start, check for these issues:

• Is there a power failure? Try again when power is restored.

• Is the power cord inserted firmly? Insert the power cord firmly.

• Is the door closed? Close the door.
