Press the MAX/MIN button once to hold the present display (HOLD).

Press the MAX/MIN button again to show the maximum temperature reached since the last reset (MAX).

To return to the present temperature display, press the MAX/MIN button once more.

To reset the maximum and minimum values, hold the MAX/MIN button for 3 seconds while MAX or MIN is indicated on the screen. The display will show “—” to confirm the reset.

When an alarm limit is reached, a signal sounds for 1 minute and the corresponding arrow and buzzer icon flash. Press any button to turn off the alarm sound and the buzzer icon manually.

If the temperature returns within the limits, the sound stops, but the arrow continues to flash to show the limit was reached at least once. Press the +1 button to stop the arrow from flashing.


What are the maintenance and battery replacement procedures for the TFA 30.1034?

Clean the device with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.

Remove the battery if the device will not be used for an extended period of time. Store the instrument in a dry place.

When the battery is used up, the low battery icon appears. To replace it, open the battery cover on the backside, insert a new CR2032 3V Lithium battery, and tighten the cover again.

To extend battery life, it is recommended to press the ON/OFF button to switch the instrument off when not in use.
