How do I charge the SOUNDBOT SB571 speaker?

Before the initial first use, please charge the SOUNDBOT SB571 speaker for a full 6 hours. The LED indicator light will turn red when it is being charged and will go off when it’s fully charged.


How do I pair my SOUNDBOT SB571 with a Bluetooth device?

1. Be sure that your SOUNDBOT SB571 is fully charged.

2. Turn on the Bluetooth connectivity of your Bluetooth-enabled media device (e.g., iPhone, iPad, Smartphone, Computer) and set the media device to be “visible” or “discoverable.”

3. Turn on the SOUNDBOT SB571 by switching the power button on the back of the speaker.

4. After turning on the SB571, the LED lights will alternate between red and blue to indicate that the speaker is in “pairing mode.”

5. Choose “add new Bluetooth device” or “setup Bluetooth device” on your media player device to search for Bluetooth devices. Select SB571 to pair and connect.

6. Once paired successfully, the LED indicator lights will turn blue and blink twice every 3 seconds.


What should I do if the pairing attempt fails with my SOUNDBOT SB571?

If the pairing attempt fails or times out (after roughly 3 minutes), delete all the paired devices from the paired Bluetooth devices on your media player. Then, reboot both your media player and the SOUNDBOT SB571 speaker before repeating the pairing process from step 2 to 6.


How do I pair the SOUNDBOT SB571 with a new or different Bluetooth device?

If pairing with another Bluetooth enabled device is required, press the Play/Pause button for 3 seconds. The speaker will be disconnected from the previous paired Bluetooth device, followed by an alert tone “pairing.” You can then repeat the pairing process (Steps 2-6) to pair with the new device such as a tablet, smartphone, iPhone, computer, etc.


How do I control music playback on the SOUNDBOT SB571?

Once the SOUNDBOT SB571 speaker is connected to a Bluetooth enabled device, you can use the following controls:

Skip/Previous: Press the SKIP/PREVIOUS button to skip to the next soundtrack or play the previous soundtrack.

Volume: Press and hold the UP/DOWN button on the speaker to increase or decrease the volume.

Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button on the speaker to start or pause songs.

Tips: The A2DP compatible media device (sound source) may have another set of volume UP/DOWN controls. To maximize/minimize the volume, please adjust the volume on both the media player and the SB571. For non-A2DP media players, volume can be adjusted from the media player.


How do I answer and manage phone calls with the SOUNDBOT SB571?

The SOUNDBOT SB571 can function as a portable speakerphone for incoming calls when connected wirelessly via Bluetooth.

To answer a call: Press the TALK/PLAY button.

To end a call: Press the TALK button again.

To refuse an incoming call: Double-click the TALK button.

To redial the last number called: Double-click the TALK button.


How do I use Siri with the SOUNDBOT SB571?

When the speaker is connected to an iPhone/iPad via Bluetooth, press and hold the TALK button for 3 seconds to activate the SIRI function on your iPhone/iPad. Then talk to the speaker after hearing the “SIRI” alert.

Tips:

1. iPhone/iPad may not be able to recognize speech commands with a noisy background.

2. SIRI may not work if the iPhone/iPad is not connected to the internet.


How do I use the line-in audio jack on the SOUNDBOT SB571?

If your media device is not Bluetooth enabled, you can still connect it to the SOUNDBOT SB571 via the 3.5mm line-in audio jack.

Tip: The TALK, PLAY/PAUSE, PREVIOUS & NEXT buttons only work when the SB571 is connected wirelessly via Bluetooth. In case of a wired connection, the soundtrack can only be controlled from the media player device.
