Step 1. Remove the protection sheet from the remote control.

Step 2. Push and slide the battery cover upward.

Step 3. Insert the two size AAA batteries.

Point your remote control directly at the IR sensor located on your SONY BRAVIA XBR-65HX929.

Step 2. Check the ENERGY SAVING switch setting is on.

Step 4. Press the middle button to confirm the code. If successfully programmed, the function button will blink twice.

Press the SCENE, TV power button, and the middle button simultaneously. The four function buttons (DVD, AMP, STB, and TV) will blink when successfully reset.

Step 1. Press HOME, then select Network, then Network Setup.

Step 2. Select Wired Setup.

Step 3. Select Auto to set the IP Address and proxy server automatically, or Custom to set them manually.

Step 4. Follow the instructions on the setup screen.

Use the diagnostic to check possible causes for network connection failures. Press HOME, then select Network, then Network Setup, then select View Network Status. Select Check Connection. This may take several minutes.

Count how many times it flashes with an interval of three seconds. Press the power button on the SONY BRAVIA XBR-65HX929 to turn it off, disconnect the AC power cord, and contact support with how many times the indicator flashes.
