Adapters 4585 / 4587 / 5172 are only compatible with smartphone cages or lens back plates that feature T-mounts (for 4585/5172) or M-mounts (for 4587). They attach to these mounts and enable the connection of 67mm filters.

The universal filter adapters 5171 and 5174 can be mounted directly onto most smartphones without needing a specific cage or backplate.

1. Position the adapter over the phone’s camera lens.

2. Tighten the knob to secure the adapter to the phone.

3. These adapters are compatible with phones with a thickness range of 6.0-15.8mm (0.2-0.6in).

4. For optimal use and fit, it is recommended to remove the phone case before attaching the adapter.

Adapters 4585 (T-Mount), 4587 (M-Mount), and 5171 (Universal Attachable) allow for the direct mounting of SmallRig Attachable filters. Once the adapter is installed on the phone or cage, simply bring a SmallRig Attachable filter close to the adapter, and it will magnetically attract and attach automatically.

Adapters 4585 and 4587 come with an included attachable-to-thread adapter. Pair the main Attachable Filter Adapter (4585 or 4587) with this attachable-to-thread adapter piece. This combination allows you to screw on standard 67mm threaded filters from other brands.

The Threaded Filter Adapters 5172 (T-Mount) and 5174 (Universal Threaded) allow for the direct mounting of other brands’ 67mm threaded filters or the SmallRig 67mm threaded ring LED video light (ID 4873). Simply screw the 67mm threaded filter or light onto the adapter after it has been installed.

To use SmallRig Attachable filters with the Threaded Filter Adapters (5172 or 5174), you must pair the threaded adapter with the ‘attachable-to-thread’ adapter piece that comes included with SmallRig Attachable filter kits (like the one included with 4585/4587/5171). This piece screws onto the 5172/5174 adapter and provides the magnetic surface needed to attract the SmallRig Attachable filter.

It is recommended to use the SmallRig 67mm threaded circular LED light (ID 4873) directly with the threaded adapter (5172 or 5174) to avoid potential vignetting (dark corners in the image) that can be caused by excessive stacking of adapters and filters. Avoid stacking multiple adapters or filters if possible.

SmallRig products are entitled to warranty services starting from the date of payment.

• Electronic products (except V mount battery): 1-year warranty.

• V mount battery: 2-year warranty.

• Non-electronic products (like this filter adapter): 2-year warranty.

Note: If there is any conflict between this warranty policy and the applicable laws and regulations of the country/region where the product was sold, the latter shall prevail.

The warranty does not cover:

1. Failure resulting from users not adhering to the “Operating Instruction” or “Warnings”.

2. Removal or defacement of the product identification or SN label.

3. Damage caused by improper use of the product.

4. Damage caused by unauthorized modification, disassembly, repair, or other unauthorized acts.

5. Damage caused by fires, floods, lightning, or other force majeure events.

For products within the scope of warranty, SmallRig will repair or replace them based on the specific failure. The repaired or replaced products/parts will be covered for the remaining part of the original warranty period.

You are advised to contact the online customer service personnel of the corresponding shopping platform where you purchased the product and submit a repair service application.

Please keep your original receipt and guarantee card, ensuring the dealer has written the date of purchase and SN of the product, as these are required for warranty service.
