3. The battery’s state of charge (SoC) is ≤30% of rated capacity at factory shipment.

4. Unauthorized disassembly of the built-in lithium battery is strictly prohibited; disassembly of the external lithium battery is not allowed.

5. After prolonged storage without use, it is recommended to charge and discharge the battery once every 6 months for maintenance to restore about 60% of the charged capacity, thus extending the battery’s lifespan.

6. Please do not throw away the product wilfully as its battery contains a few harmful substances. Please recycle the damaged or unused products in accordance with the waste management measures.

7. Children should use it under adult guidance.

8. Keep new and used batteries away from children.

1. Never trigger the flash near flammable gases or liquids (such as gasoline, solvents, etc. ), as it may cause an explosion.

2. Do not trigger the flash at close range to eyes. Using the flash too close to human or animal eyes can damage the retina, leading to serious vision disorders or even blindness.

3. Do not let the flash or battery charger come into contact with dripping or splashing water.

4. Protect the flash in extremely high temperature or humid conditions.

5. Do not touch the flash after continuous use, as it may be hot and cause burns.

6. Do not disassemble the flash yourself. Non professionals should not repair its internal components.

To operate the power on the SMALLRIG RS20 MINI, use the ON Key. Slide the switch to the [OFF] position to turn the power off. Slide the switch to the [ON] position to turn the power on.

Before shooting, ensure that the flash charging indicator light is illuminated.

1. Click the MODE button to switch to M mode. The `` icon will be displayed on the panel.

2. Press the `< + >` button to increase the power and the `< - >` button to decrease the power. Quick power adjustment is also available by long pressing these buttons.

The power is adjustable in 8 steps from 1/128 to 1/1 with 1/3 increment each step. The available power levels are:

To use optical triggering, press the MODE button while in M mode to switch between optical S1 and S2 modes.

Optical S1 Mode: Press the MODE button until the `` icon is displayed on the panel. In S1 mode, the flash functions as an optical S1 secondary flash with an optical sensor. It will synchronize with the main flash, similar to a wireless trigger, which helps create multiple lighting effects.

Optical S2 Mode: Press the MODE button until the `` icon is displayed on the panel. In S2 mode, the flash functions as an optical S2 secondary flash with an optical sensor in TTL flash mode. This is useful when cameras have a pre-flash function. The flash will ignore a single “pre-flash” from the main flash and will only fire in response to the actual flash from the main unit.
