If the lamp suddenly explodes, you should turn off the projector immediately and thoroughly air out the room. Do not attempt to restart the projector or replace the bulb yourself. Contact your local service center for assistance.

To change the fuses, follow these steps:

1. Disconnect the projector from the mains power supply.

2. The fuse compartment is located next to the power supply connector.

3. Use a flat head screwdriver to remove the fuse holder.

4. Replace the fuse with a new one of the same type: T 10 A L H.

5. Fit the replacement fuse holder back into place.

Please observe the following safety guidelines when viewing 3D content:

• Discomfort (such as eye strain, headaches, motion sickness, nausea, dizziness, disorientation) may be experienced. If symptoms are severe, stop watching and consult a doctor.

• Consult a doctor before allowing young children (especially those under six years old) to watch 3D content, as their visual system is still developing.

• Monitor children and teenagers watching 3D content, as they are more at risk of experiencing discomfort.

• Individuals susceptible to epileptic seizures or strokes should consult a doctor before watching 3D content.

• All viewers should take regular breaks from watching 3D content. The length and frequency of breaks may vary from person to person.

Waste electrical and electronic materials (WEEE) should not be disposed of in normal urban waste facilities. Take the projector to your local waste disposal facility for recycling.

The lamp inside the projector contains mercury and is subject to special disposal or recycling regulations. Dispose of or recycle the lamp in accordance with local laws.

• 1 x backlit remote control unit (with four AAA/LR03 batteries)

• 1 x SIM2 3D sync RF emitter (ADE025-RF-S1)

• 4 x pairs of SIM2 X105-RF-S1 active shutter glasses

• 3 x AC power cords (US, EU and UK), 2 m (6.6 ft.) long

• 3 x jacks for 12 V output connectors

• 1 x 4.0-millimeter Hex wrench (for lens shift adjustment)

• 1 x User guide (this document)

The remote control has the following functions:

• **LIGHT:** Turns the backlight on for about 5 seconds.

• **Power Off Button:** Turns the projector off.

• **1-9:** Selects inputs and turns the projector on.

• **0:** Enters the OSD Input menu and turns the projector on.

• **OK:** Enters submenus and confirms actions.

• **ESC:** Exits the OSD.

• **Arrow Keys:** Selects menu items, adjusts settings, or cycles through test patterns.

• **MENU +/-:** Enters the OSD Main menu and selects the desired section.

• **II (3D):** Enters the 3D menu.

• **Memory:** Enters the Memories menu.

• **F1, F2:** Performs user-defined actions (default: F1 = Zoom, F2 = Focus).

• **Info:** Displays projector Info.

• **A (Auto):** Performs Auto Adjustment.

• **Aspect:** Enters the Aspect Quick menu.

1. Open the battery cover.

2. Insert four AAA (LR03) batteries, making sure the polarities match the + marks inside the battery compartment.

3. Replace the cover.

Replace the batteries with new ones when the operating range decreases. Do not mix old and new batteries. If you will not use the remote control for a long time, remove the batteries to avoid leakage.

The projector keypad has the following functions:

• **Power Button:** Turns the projector on or off.

• **Arrow Buttons:** Selects menu items, adjusts settings, or switches test patterns.

• **MENU:** Enters the OSD Main menu and selects the desired section.

• **ESC:** Exits the OSD.

• **SOURCE/O:** Enters the OSD Input menu or selects a menu item.

To mount the projector on a ceiling, invert it and suspend it using a specific bracket:

1. Unscrew and remove the 3 rubber feet from the bottom of the projector. Do not use the rubber feet to fix the bracket.

2. Attach the bracket using 3 x M6 screws not exceeding 15 mm in length.

Use only SIM2-approved ceiling brackets and adhere to the installation instructions and safety guidelines provided with the bracket. Do not over-tighten the screws.

If you cannot position the projector perpendicular to the screen, you can use the mechanical lens control to shift the image vertically:

1. Insert the provided hex wrench into the vertical lens shift adjuster on top of the projector.

2. Turn the wrench to shift the lens and the projected image in the desired direction.

The projector provides up to 50% of vertical lens shift up.

The SIM2 MULTIMEDIA SUPERLUMISPROEC has motorized Zoom and Focus controls. You can access these adjustments directly from the remote control:

• Press the **F1** key for optical Zoom.

• Press the **F2** key for Focus.

1. Place the emitter near the projector on a secure surface or use an appropriate mount kit. For maximum range, the emitter should be placed at least 10 cm above the ground (e.g., on a shelf), not on the floor.

2. Connect the emitter’s connector to the corresponding 3D Sync Out port on the projector.

3. Once connected, ensure the projector is in 3D mode. Check the X sign on the emitter; the red light should be on, indicating that the emitter is functioning.

Follow these steps for proximity association with the 3D RF emitter. This must be done every time the glasses are introduced to a new emitter, and the glasses must be within 1 meter of the emitter.

1. Switch on the glasses with a short press on the button. The LED will change from off to bright.

2. Press and hold the button for a minimum of 1 second.

3. After 1 second, the LED will start to blink once every 2 seconds. Release the button.

4. A successful association is indicated by 6 short LED blinks. If the association fails, the LED will change from bright to off, and the glasses will power off.

Once glasses are associated, they will automatically connect to that emitter every time they are switched on.

The glasses are shipped with a micro USB to USB Type A cable. To charge the glasses’ battery, plug the micro USB cable into a computer or other USB device capable of supplying power. The LED will remain lit while the glasses are charging. When the battery is fully charged, the LED will go off. If the LED flashes every couple of seconds during operation, the battery level is low.

Switching On:

1. Turn on the main power switch on the right-hand side of the projector. It enters low power Standby status, and the indicator light turns red.

2. Press any of the numeric keys (0-9) on the remote control or the I/O button on the projector keypad to switch the projector on.

3. The indicator light turns green and red while it warms up.

4. An image appears on screen in approximately one minute. A “No Signal” message will be displayed if no valid signal is detected.

Switching Off:

1. Press and hold the Off key on the remote control or the I/O button on the projector keypad.

2. The indicator light flashes green and red as the cooling fans cool the lamp for approximately four minutes. The projector cannot be turned on during this time.

3. After cooling is complete, the projector enters Standby status, and the indicator light turns solid red.

Warning: Wait for the cooling fans to turn off before turning off the main power switch or unplugging the projector.

To watch 3D Content via Blu-ray:

1. Switch on the projector, Blu-ray player, and any AV receiver, and ensure the correct inputs are selected.

2. Insert your 3D Blu-ray disc and press play. Select the 3D version of the film if prompted.

3. Switch on your 3D glasses.

4. The projector will automatically detect the 3D signal, and you will be prompted to wear your glasses.

To Watch 3D Content via Satellite, Cable, and Games Console:

1. Switch on all relevant products and select the correct inputs.

2. Select the appropriate 3D channel.

3. If the projector displays two distorted images side-by-side or one on top of the other, press the ‘II’ (3D) key on the remote. Select ‘3D mode’ and then choose the correct 3D format (e.g., Side-by-Side, Top-and-Bottom).

4. Switch on your 3D glasses.

• **On:** Press the button on the glasses once. The indicator light will ramp from off to bright, and then turn off again. The glasses are now in SIM2 Cinema mode and synced.

• **Off:** Press the button once. The indicator light will ramp from bright to off. The glasses will also turn off automatically after a few minutes without a sync signal.

• **Reset:** In the unlikely event you need to reset the glasses, remove the battery from its compartment and then replace it.

With 3D content playing, press the ‘II’ key on the remote to access the OSD 3D menu. The available options are:

• **3D Mode:** Activates 3D mode. Automatic selection is determined by the source. If the image is incorrect, you may need to go to ‘3D Input Format’ to manually select the correct mode.

• **3D Input Format:** Choose the format that matches the source signal. Options include:

– **(S-S) Side by Side:** For images compressed horizontally.

– **(T-B) Top and Bottom:** For images compressed vertically.

– **(F-S) Frame Sequential:** For a sequence of alternating full-resolution frames for each eye.

• **3D Left/Right:** Use this setting if the 3D effect has an uncomfortable look or the depth perception is wrong. It swaps the left and right eye images. Options are ‘Normal’ and ‘Swapped’.

You can use the Memory Management function to store and recall up to six different sets of values (Memories) per input type.

Save Current Settings:

1. Press the Memory key on the remote to display the Memories menu.

2. Use the arrow keys to highlight the desired memory slot (1-6).

3. Press the right arrow key to open the pull-down menu.

4. Highlight ‘Save current settings’.

5. Press the right arrow key to execute.

Recall Settings:

1. Press the Memory key on the remote.

2. Highlight the desired memory you wish to recall.

3. Press the right arrow key to execute. The settings are now recalled and active.

Rename a Memory:

1. In the Memories menu, highlight a memory and press the right arrow key to open its menu.

2. Highlight ‘Rename’ and press the right arrow key.

3. Use the arrow keys and number keys (1-9) to enter a new name.

4. Press ‘OK’ on the remote to save the new name.

• Make sure the main power switch at the rear of the projector is in the On position.

• Ensure the projector is connected to a working electrical outlet.

• Check the fuse located near the AC receptacle. Replace the fuse with one of the same type and rating (T 10 A L H 250 V).

• If the fuse blows repeatedly, contact an authorized technical center.

• If the indicator light is flashing green and red, the projector is cooling down. Wait until cooling is complete (indicator light solid red), then turn the projector on again.

• The lamp may have overheated. Check that air inlets and outlets are not blocked and the room temperature is within specifications. Wait at least 30 minutes, then turn the projector back on.

• Check the Status Display for any error codes. Contact your SIM2 Authorized Dealer for assistance if an error persists.

• The lamp may need replacement. Contact your SIM2 Authorized Dealer for assistance.

• Make sure the correct input is selected on the projector.

• Make sure the desired video source is turned on and its output is configured correctly.

• Check the cable connection from the video source to the projector.

• When using the remote, point it directly at the front of the projector.

• Remove any obstacles between the remote and the infrared sensor on the front of the projector.

• Make sure the remote control batteries are in good condition and are inserted correctly.

• Turn the projector and the 3D source off. Turn the projector on first, then turn the 3D source on. Try to play 3D content again.

• Ensure your source is 3D compatible and the 3D output is enabled. For full HD 3D, ensure 1080p resolution and 24 Hz options are enabled in the 3D source.

• Ensure your 3D glasses are switched on and set to SIM2 3D mode.

• If the images are next to each other, press the 3D key on the remote control and choose Side by Side 3D Input Format.

• If one image is above the other, press the 3D key on the remote control and choose Top and Bottom 3D Input Format.

Press the 3D key on the remote control, highlight the 3D Left/Right setting, and then choose the value (either Normal or Swapped) that restores the correct sense of depth in the image.
