To install the stands on your SHARP 4T-C65GJ4000X TV, follow these steps:

1. First, place the TV body on a flat surface, with a soft cloth under it to protect the screen, laying it with the screen facing down.

2. Attach the TV stand marked with “R” to the installation part marked with “R”, and the stand marked with “L” to the part marked with “L”.

3. Ensure that the arrow mark on the stands faces downward.

4. Fasten the stands securely with the included screws.

Follow these tips for safe installation:

General Tips:

• The TV set should be mounted near an AC power socket for easy plugging and unplugging.

• To avoid injury, place the TV set on a stable plane, or fix it to a firm wall.

• Do not install or mount the TV in a tilted position.

• Avoid places susceptible to mechanical vibration, insect entry, or placement against an air conditioner, which may cause moisture condensation and failure.

• Do not place the TV set in any place with a strong magnetic field.

Your SHARP 4T-C65GJ4000X has several ports for connecting devices:

• USB1/USB2 Interface: Supports peripheral equipment like USB mass storage devices, USB mouse, and keyboard.

• HDMI 1 Input (ARC): Use this port for devices that support the ARC (Audio Return Channel) function.

• HDMI 2 Input: For connecting other HDMI devices.

• AV Input: For composite video (Yellow) and stereo audio (White for L, Red for R).

Remark: The HDMI connector can realize DVI connector function with an external HDMI/DVI commutator. Peripheral equipment and cables must be purchased separately.

Warning: When connecting an outdoor antenna, first turn off the main power switch of the TV. Do not approach the outdoor antenna near high voltage mains power lines to avoid electric shock. The wired network antenna connected to this TV must be isolated from the protective grounding, or else it will cause fire or other hazards.

The TV Control Key is located on the TV set and provides basic functions:

When the TV is turned off:

• Short press the key to turn on the TV.

When the TV is turned on:

The key works in the Input mode (TV/AV/HDMI1/HDMI2/USB).

• Short press: Displays the function menu [Power, Channel +/-, Volume +/-, Input].

• Short press again: Cycles through and selects the desired menu option.

• Long press: Confirms the selected menu option.

For more detailed operations, please use the remote control.

Remove the battery compartment cover and insert two AAA (1.5V) batteries. Make sure the polarity of the batteries is in compliance with the polarity marks “+” and “-” inside the battery compartment of the remote control.

• The remote control should be pointed at the remote control sensor on the TV during operation. An object placed between them may impede normal operation.

• Prevent the remote from strenuous vibration. Do not set or place the remote in direct sunshine, as heat may cause deformation.

• Remote control failure may occur if the TV’s sensor is under direct sunshine or strong lighting. If this happens, change the angle of the lighting or the TV, or operate the remote closer to the sensor.

• If the remote doesn’t work well due to low batteries, replace them with new ones. If the remote is not used for a long time or the batteries run out, remove them to prevent corrosion from battery leakage.

• Do not use batteries of different types or mix old and new batteries. Replace batteries in pairs.

• Do not throw batteries into fire, charge, or decompose them. Dispose of waste batteries according to environmental regulations.

Plug the power cord into an electrical socket, then press the [Power] key on the remote control to turn on the TV. When you first use the TV, it will go into the initialization settings. In the power-on state, press the [Power] key to switch to standby mode.

This TV set uses energy-saving technology. If there is no signal input in the power-on state, it will automatically enter standby mode after five minutes.

You can connect various devices to the TV set. After connecting, turn on the device and press the [Input] key on the remote. The signal source menu will be displayed on the screen. Press the [▲]/[▼] keys to select the input signal, and press the [OK] key to confirm.

1. Press the [Settings] key to show the main menu on the screen.

2. Press the [▲]/[▼] key to select a menu from Video, Audio, TV, Setup, Parental, or About.

3. Press the [OK] or [►] key to enter the submenu.

Note: During menu operation, icons of invalid options will appear greyed out. The default password for the lock system is 0000.

Press the [Settings] key, select Setup > OSD Language and press the [OK] key to enter. Use the [▲]/[▼] keys to select your desired language, and then press [OK] to confirm.

Before scanning, ensure your antenna is connected properly and you have selected the correct signal source (ATV or DTV).

ATV (Analog) Scanning:

1. After selecting the ATV source, press the [Settings] key, select TV, then press [OK].

2. For auto-scan: Select Channel Scan, and press [OK]. The TV will start auto scanning.

3. For manual scan: Select Analog Manual Scan, set the Start Frequency (MHz), select Scan Up or Scan Down, and press [OK] to search manually.

DTV (Digital) Scanning:

1. After selecting the DTV source, press the [Settings] key, and select TV > Tuner Mode > DVBT/DVBC according to your needs.

2. If you selected DVBT:

• For auto-scan: Select TV > Channel Scan, and press [OK].

• For manual scan: Select TV > Manual Scan > RF Channel, press [►] to enter, select the channel, then press [OK] to search.

3. If you selected DVBC:

• For auto-scan: Select TV > Channel Scan, press [OK] to enter. After setting the Scan Mode, select Scan, then press [OK].

• For manual scan: Select TV > Manual Scan, set Frequency (kHz), Modulation, and Symbol Rate (Ksym/s). Select Scan, then press [OK].

You can record programs using the PVR (Personal Video Recorder) function. First, connect a USB device to the TV.

1. In DTV mode, press the Record [●] key on the remote. The system will begin recording.

2. Press the Stop [■] key to stop and quit recording.

3. To play back recorded files, press the [Settings] key, go to Setup > Record Setting > Record List, and press [OK]. Select a file to play.

Note: The recording function only supports memorizers with a FAT32 file system. Devices with other file systems need to be formatted. Back up your data before formatting, as the content cannot be recovered.

The time-shift function allows you to pause and cache a live program on a connected USB device. To use it:

1. In DTV mode, press the [Settings] key, and go to Setup > Record Setting > Time Shifting Mode. Press [OK] and select “On”.

2. Press the Pause [II] key on the remote. The Time Shift option menu appears, and the program is paused.

3. Press the Play [►] key to resume playing the program.

4. Press the Stop [■] key to stop and quit time-shift mode.

While in time-shift mode, you can use the fast-backward, fast-forward, play, and pause keys.

Press the [Settings] key, then select Setup > Network > Configuration > Interface, and choose either Wireless or Ethernet.

For a Wireless Connection:

1. After selecting Wireless, press [OK], then select Wireless Setting > Scan, and press [OK]. The TV will search for available networks.

2. Select the network you want to connect to from the list and press [OK]. If the network has a lock icon, it is encrypted and requires a password.

3. Type the network password using the on-screen keyboard, then select Connect and press [OK].

4. For a hidden network, select Wireless Setting > Manual, press [OK], and enter the network name (SSID) and password.

For an Ethernet (Wired) Connection:

1. After selecting Ethernet, press [OK].

2. Select IP Setting > Address Type > AUTO. Your TV will connect to the network automatically.

3. For manual setup, select Address Type > Manual. Use the direction keys to enter the IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, Primary DNS, and Secondary DNS. Then press the [Return] key, and your TV will connect.

This feature allows remote systems to wake up the sleeping TV over the network. To configure it:

1. Press the [Settings] key on the remote.

2. Select Setup > Network > Configuration > Wake On Lan / Wake On Wlan, and press [OK].

3. Press the [▲]/[▼] key to set it as “On” or “Off”.

4. Press [OK] to confirm.

1. Insert a USB mass storage device into the USB interface of the TV.

2. Press the [Home] key, then use the [▲]/[▼]/[◄]/[►] keys to select Media and press [OK].

3. Select the file type: Photo, Music, or Video.

4. Select the local disk device in the file directory and press [OK].

5. Navigate to the target folder and press [OK] to enter it.

7. Press the [Return] key to go back to the previous page.

While playing, you can press [OK] to display or hide the toolbar and use the remote control to operate playback.

Check if the power line is connected securely to the electrical outlet and the TV.

This can be caused by interference from other electrical appliances. Do not use an electric hair dryer beside the TV set and adjust the antenna direction to reduce the disturbance.

Enter the “Video” setting in the menu to increase the color saturation.

Remark: Under UHD mode, 50Hz and 60Hz refresh rate is effective only under HDMI version 2.0/2.1.

Warning:

• Please purchase a suitable TV wall mount.

• Ensure the wall’s bearing capacity is at least 4 times the weight of the TV and mount combined.

• Refer to the instructions provided with both the TV and the wall mount.

• Make sure there are no cables or conduits in the wall where the mount will be installed.

• It is recommended to entrust a professional technician for installation to avoid accidents or damage.

Required Screws:

Note: ‘L1’ is the thickness of the upper wall mount bracket, and ‘L1” is the thickness of the lower wall mount bracket. If screws are already present in the wall mount holes on the back of the TV, remove them for later use.
