To install the stands on your SHARP 4T-C55GJ4000X, follow these steps:

1. First, put the TV body on a flat surface with a soft cloth on it, laying it with the screen facing down.

2. Attach the TV stand marked with “R” to the installation part marked with “R”, and the stand marked with “L” to the installation part marked with “L”.

3. Make sure that the arrow mark on the stands faces down.

4. Fasten the stands with the included screws.

The TV Control Key has different functions depending on whether the TV is on or off:

When the TV is turned off:

Short press the key to turn on the TV.

When the TV is turned on:

The key works only in the Input (TV/AV/HDMI1/HDMI2/USB) source.

• Short press to display the function menu [Power, (Channel+/-), Volume +/-, Input].

• Short press the key to select an option in the menu.

• Long press the key to confirm the selected menu option.

Remove the battery compartment cover and insert two AAA (1.5V) batteries. Make sure the polarity of the batteries is in compliance with the polarity mark “+” and “-” in the battery compartment of the remote control.

• The remote control should be pointed at the remote control sensor during operation. An object placed between the remote control and the remote control sensor may impede normal operation.

• The remote control should be prevented from strenuous vibration. Also, do not set or place the remote control under direct sunshine, as heating power may result in deformation of the remote control.

• Remote control failure may occur when the remote control sensor of the main unit is under direct sunshine or strong lighting. In this case, please change the angle of lighting or the TV set, or operate the remote control near the remote control sensor.

• When the batteries are running low, the remote control won’t work well. In that case, please replace them with new ones. If the remote control is not used for a long time or the battery runs out, please take the battery out to prevent the remote control from being corroded by battery leakage which may result in damage and failure.

• Please do not use batteries of different types. It is not allowed to use old and new batteries together; the batteries should be replaced in pairs.

• Please do not throw the batteries into fire or charge or decompose them. Do not charge, short-circuit, disassemble/assemble, heat or burn used batteries. Please dispose of waste batteries pursuant to relevant regulations on environmental protection.

Plug the power cord into the electrical socket, then press the Power key on the remote control to turn on the TV.

When you first use the TV, it goes into the initialization settings. Set it according to your needs.

In the power-on state, press the Power key to switch to standby mode.

This TV set uses energy-saving technology. If there is no signal input in the power-on state, it will enter standby state automatically in five minutes.

You can connect various devices to the TV set. If your video device has HDMI, AV, or other video output ports, you can connect to the corresponding input ports of the TV.

After connecting, turn on the device and press the input key (input symbol) on the remote. The signal source menu will be displayed on the screen. Press the [▲]/[▼] keys to select the input signal, and press the [OK] key to confirm.

Press the settings key (gear symbol) to show the main menu on the screen.

1. Press the [▲]/[▼] key to select a menu from Video, Audio, TV, Setup, Parental, About.

2. Press the [OK]/[▶] key to enter the submenu.

3. Press the [▲]/[▼] key to select an item in the menu.

4. Press the [OK] key to confirm.

5. Press the [◀]/[▶] key or [▲]/[▼] key to adjust the value or setting.

6. Press the Return key (curved arrow) to return to the previous menu when the TV displays the submenu.

7. During menu operation, the icons of invalid options will change into grey.

Note: The default password for the lock system is 0000.

Press the Home key (home symbol) to show the home page.

1. Press the [◀]/[▶] key to select an application.

2. Press the [OK] key to run the application.

3. Press the Exit key (exit symbol) to exit the smart mode.

Note: Before accessing the Internet, please connect your TV set to the Internet by referring to “Network Settings”.

Press the settings key (gear symbol), select Setup > OSD Language and press [OK] key to enter. Press the [▲]/[▼] key to select the desired language, and then press [OK] key.

Scan for channels before watching the TV for the first time. Ensure the antenna is connected properly and select the signal source as ATV or DTV.

ATV Scanning

After selecting the ATV source, press the settings key, and select TV, then press [OK] to enter.

1. Select Channel Scan, and press [OK] key. The TV will start auto scanning.

2. To manually search, select Analog Manual Scan, set the Start Frequency (MHz), select Scan Up or Scan Down, and press [OK].

DTV Scanning

After selecting the DTV source, press the settings key, and select TV > Tuner Mode > DVBT/DVBC according to your needs.

After selecting DVBT:

1. For auto scanning, select TV > Channel Scan, and press [OK].

2. For manual scanning, select TV > Manual Scan > RF Channel, and press [▶] to enter. Select the channel, then press [OK].

After selecting DVBC:

1. For auto scanning, select TV > Channel Scan, and press [OK]. After setting Scan Mode, select Scan, then press [OK].

2. For manual scanning, select TV > Manual Scan, and set Frequency (kHz), Modulation, and Symbol Rate (Ksym/s). Select Scan, then press [OK].

You can record programs using the PVR function. First, connect a USB device to the TV.

1. In DTV mode, press the Record key (●) on the remote. The system will begin recording.

2. Press the Stop key (■) to stop and quit recording.

3. To play recorded files, press the settings key (gear symbol), and select Setup > Record Setting > Record List, then press [OK] to display the record files and play them.

4. While playing, use the [◀]/[▶]/[▶(play)]/[II]/[■] keys to control playback.

Note: The recording function only supports memorizers with the FAT32 file system. Devices with other file systems need to be formatted. Before formatting, back up useful data as the content cannot be recovered after formatting.

The time-shift function allows you to pause and cache a live program to a USB device.

1. In DTV mode, press the settings key (gear symbol), and select Setup > Record Setting > Time Shifting Mode, then press [OK]. Select On, and press the Pause key (II).

2. The Time Shift option menu will appear, and the program will be suspended.

3. Press the Play key (▶) to resume the program.

4. Press the Stop key (■) to stop and quit time-shift.

5. While playing, you can use the [◀]/[▶]/[▶(play)]/[II]/[■] keys to control playback.

1. Press the settings key (gear symbol), then select Setup > Network > Configuration > Interface, and select Wireless.

2. After selecting Wireless, press [OK], then select Wireless Setting > Scan, and press [OK]. The TV will automatically search for wireless network signals.

3. A network without a lock icon is unsecured. A network with a lock icon is encrypted and requires a password.

4. Select the network you want to connect to from the list and press [OK].

5. If required, type the network password using the on-screen keyboard, then select Connect and press [OK].

6. If your network is hidden, select Wireless Setting > Manual, press [OK], set the network name (SSID), select the security mode, and enter the password.

7. If you select Wireless Setting > Auto, you can enter the PIN or PBC to automatically connect.

1. Press the settings key (gear symbol), then select Setup > Network > Configuration > Interface, and select Ethernet.

2. For automatic connection, select IP Setting > Address Type > AUTO. Your TV will connect to the network automatically.

3. For manual connection, select Address Type > Manual. Use the [▲]/[▼] keys to select IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, Primary DNS, and Secondary DNS to set them. Then press the [▶] key, and your TV will connect to the network.

Before playing files, insert a USB mass storage device into the USB interface.

1. Press the Home key (home symbol), then use the direction keys to select Media and press [OK].

2. Select the file type from Photo, Music, or Video.

3. Select the local disk device in the file directory and press [OK].

4. Select the target folder and press [OK] to enter it.

5. Use the direction keys to select the target file and press the Play key (▶) or [OK] key to play it.

6. Press the Return key (curved arrow) to return to the previous page.

While playing, press [OK] to display or hide the toolbar. Use the [◀]/[▶]/[▶(play)]/[II]/[■] keys on the remote control to operate.

1. Check if the antenna plug is loose or if the cable is in good condition.

2. Check the antenna type (VHF/UHF).

3. Adjust the direction and position of the antenna.

4. Try to use a signal enhancer.

Check if the power line is connected.

Do not use an electric hair dryer beside the TV set and adjust the antenna direction to reduce disturbance.

1. Use a high-oriented antenna.

2. Adjust the direction of the antenna.

Enter the “Video” setting to increase color saturation.

1. Adjust the volume to a proper degree.

2. Press the mute key on the remote control to cancel mute mode.

1. Check if the signal connecting cable is loose or has fallen off. Reconnect it.

2. The TV may be in standby mode, please reboot.

1. Remove any object blocking the remote control receiving window.

2. Replace the batteries.

1. Please upgrade your network bandwidth to a higher one.

2. Please try to replace with other addresses to obtain better resources.

Disconnect the power supply first, and connect the power supply after about 1-2 minutes, then turn on the TV again.

Note: If you turn on Wake On Lan / Wake On Wlan function, the maximum power consumption of the TV in standby mode does not exceed 1W.

Remark: Under UHD mode, 50Hz and 60Hz refresh rate is effective only under HDMI version 2.0/2.1.

Remark: Under 4K mode, 60Hz refresh rate is effective only under HDMI version 2.0/2.1.

Please follow these warnings and notes for wall mounting:

• Please purchase a suitable TV wall mount when mounting your TV on the wall.

• Ensure that the bearing capacity of the wall for mount installation is no less than 4 times the weight of the TV set and the wall mount so as to avoid falling.

• Please refer to the instructions provided with the TV set and wall mount for installation.

• Make sure there is no cable or conduit in the wall section where a wall mount will be installed.

• Please entrust a professional technician to complete installation. The company shall not be liable for accidents, personal injury or damage caused by improper installation of the TV set.

• Do not install/mount the TV with tilting condition.

Note:

• If any screws are found in the screw hole for wall mount behind the TV set before installing the wall mount, the screws shall be removed and put in place for later use.

• Please buy the wall screws according to the actual situation.

• If there are flat tail self-tapping screws in the accessories, please decide whether it is suitable for use according to the actual situation of the wall mount.
