Please follow these safety instructions when using your SENNHEISER PRECISION PX 210 BT headphones:

• Please read these instructions carefully and completely before using the headphones.

• Make these instructions easily accessible to all users at all times. Always include these instructions when passing the headphones on to third parties.

• Only use the headphones in aircraft where wireless Bluetooth® transmission is permitted.

• Do not use the headphones in situations which require special attention (e.g. in traffic or when performing skilled jobs).

• Always keep the headphones dry and do not expose them to extreme temperatures (normal operating temperatures: 10°C to 35°C).

• Use the headphones with care and store them in a clean, dust-free environment.

• Switch off the headphones after use to conserve battery power. Remove the batteries if the headphones will not be used for extended periods of time.

• The headphones contain magnets that generate a magnetic field which could cause dangerous interference with cardiac pacemakers and implanted defibrillators. Keep the headphones at least 1.2″ (3 cm) from cardiac pacemakers or implanted defibrillators.

• Please protect your hearing from high volume levels. Sennheiser headphones also sound exceptionally good at low volumes.

• Only use the supplied mains unit and charging cable.

• To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use the device and the mains unit near water and do not expose them to rain or moisture.

• Unplug the mains unit from the wall socket to completely disconnect the device from the mains, during lightning storms, or when unused for long periods of time.

• Only operate the mains unit from the type of power source specified in the “Specifications” section.

• Ensure that the mains unit is in a safe operating condition and easily accessible, properly plugged into the wall socket, only operated within the permissible temperature range, and not covered or exposed to direct sunlight for longer periods of time in order to prevent heat accumulation.

• Do not operate the device and the mains unit near any heat sources.

• Only use attachments/accessories specified by Sennheiser.

If abused or misused, the battery pack may leak. In extreme cases, it may even present a heat hazard, a fire hazard, an explosion hazard, or a smoke or gas hazard. Please adhere to the following safety instructions:

The SENNHEISER PRECISION PX 210 BT headphones offer several key features:

Before using the headphones for the first time, remove the protection strip from the battery pack and charge it for at least 3 hours.

Charging Indicators:

• While charging, the LED on the battery pack lights up red.

• When fully charged, the LED on the battery pack lights up green.

• When the battery pack is almost flat, the LED on the headphones flashes red, and you will hear a short, negative acknowledgement tone.

The operating time is approximately 10 hours with Bluetooth technology.

Charging Methods:

You can charge the battery pack either inside or outside the headphones.

To charge the battery pack inside the headphones:

1. Open the battery pack compartment cover on the left ear cup.

2. Connect the charging cable to the charging socket on the headphones.

To charge the battery pack outside the headphones:

1. Open the battery pack compartment cover on the left ear cup.

2. Press the button next to the battery pack compartment and remove the battery pack.

3. Connect the charging cable to the socket on the battery pack.

Connecting to a Power Source:

• To a PC: Connect the USB plug of the charging cable to a USB socket on your PC.

• To a mains unit: Connect the charging cable to the supplied mains unit, attach the suitable country adapter, and plug it into a wall socket.

After charging, if the battery was charged outside the headphones, insert it back into the headphone’s battery pack compartment until it locks into place and close the cover.

For optimum transmission quality, noise attenuation, and comfort, adjust the headband as follows:

1. Wear the headphones so that the headband runs over the top of your head.

2. Adjust the length of the headband so that:

• the ear pads rest comfortably against the ears,

• you feel even, gentle pressure around your ears,

• a snug fit of the headband on the head is ensured.

To ensure maximum noise attenuation, it is best to make the final adjustment in a noisy environment.

CAUTION: Listening at high volume levels for long periods can lead to permanent hearing defects. Set the volume to a comfortable level.

Switching the PX 210 BT on:

• Press the Master button and keep it pressed until the LED flashes blue. You will hear an ascending beep.

• When switching the headphones on for the first time, they will automatically enter pairing mode.

• If the headphones are already paired with an audio source, the Bluetooth connection is automatically established.

• If a paired audio source is off or out of range, the headphones will try to connect for 3 minutes. If this fails, they will automatically switch off after 60 minutes.

Switching the PX 210 BT off:

• Press the Master button and keep it pressed until the LED flashes red 3 times.

• You will hear a descending beep. The Bluetooth connection is deactivated, and the headphones switch off.

To pair your headphones, which can save up to 8 connection profiles, follow these steps. Note that pairing with a ninth device will overwrite the first one.

1. Make sure your headphones are switched off.

2. Press the Master button and keep it pressed until the LED alternately flashes blue and red. This indicates the headphones are in pairing mode. (Note: If you are switching the headphones on for the very first time, they will automatically go into pairing mode).

3. On your audio source, activate the Bluetooth function and search for new devices (e.g., “Add a new device”).

4. Follow the instructions of your audio source. Once a connection is established, the LED on the headphones will flash blue 3 times, and you will hear an ascending beep.

5. If prompted for a PIN code, enter the default code “0000”.

If no device is found within approximately 5 minutes, the LED will flash red 3 times, you’ll hear a descending beep, and the headphones will attempt to connect to a previously paired device before switching off.

First, switch the headphones off.

To switch the flashing on:

1. Press the Master button and keep it pressed until the LED alternately flashes blue and red.

2. Briefly press the Volume ▲ button.

To switch the flashing off:

1. Press the Master button and keep it pressed until the LED alternately flashes blue and red.

2. Briefly press the Volume ▼ button.

You can use the audio cable if you do not want to use Bluetooth, are not allowed to use Bluetooth (e.g., on some airlines), or if the battery pack is flat. When the audio cable is connected, the Bluetooth function cannot be switched on.

Connecting the audio cable:

• If the headphones are already connected via Bluetooth, the connection is automatically disconnected when you plug in the audio cable. The LED will flash red 3 times, and you will hear a descending beep.

1. Connect the 2.5 mm jack plug of the audio cable to the socket on the headphones.

2. Connect the 3.5 mm jack plug of the audio cable to the headphone socket of your audio source.

You will hear sound from your audio source and the LED will flash blue.

Detaching the audio cable:

• Pull the 2.5 mm jack plug of the audio cable from the socket on the headphones. The Bluetooth function is not automatically switched on. You will need to switch it on manually if you wish to use it.

Switching the Bluetooth Function On/Off:

• To switch on: Press the Bluetooth button and keep it pressed until the LED flashes blue 3 times. The Bluetooth function is now on.

• To switch off: Press the Bluetooth button and keep it pressed until the LED flashes red 3 times. You will hear a descending beep, the Bluetooth button’s light goes off, and the LED flashes blue. The Bluetooth function is now switched off.

Changing the Volume:

When the minimum or maximum volume is reached, you will hear an acknowledgement tone.

You can remote-control any connected device that supports the AVRCP profile using the buttons on the headphones. The functions are as follows:

*These functions are not supported by all connected Bluetooth devices.

Resetting returns all settings to the factory default and clears all paired devices, allowing you to pair 8 new devices.

1. First, switch the headphones off by pressing the Master button until the LED flashes red 3 times.

2. Press the Master button and keep it pressed until the LED alternately flashes blue and red (entering pairing mode).

3. Press the Bluetooth button and keep it pressed until the settings of the headphones are reset.

For space-saving transportation, the headphones can be folded up flatly and compactly.

1. Rotate the ear cups by 90°.

2. Tuck the ear cups between the headband.

3. Place the headphones flat into the transport case.

Cleaning the Headphones:

CAUTION: Liquids can damage the electronics. Keep all liquids away from the device and do not use any cleansing agents or solvents.

• Before cleaning, make sure the headphones are not being charged.

• Only use a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean the headphones.

Replacing the ear pads:

You can replace the ear pads. Spare ear pads are available as accessories.

1. Grasp the edge of the ear pad behind the ear cup and peel it up and away from the ear cup.

2. Slide the new ear pad onto the ear cup.
