Step 1: Install the Electrostatic Sticker

3. Attach the sticker to the windshield, ideally behind the rear-view mirror to avoid obstructing your view.
Step 2: Install the Dash Cam Mount
1. Place the 3M adhesive onto the mount plate.
2. Ensure the T-interlock on the mount is oriented correctly and firmly press the mount onto the electrostatic sticker on the windshield.

Option 1: Vibration Detection (with Smart Hardwire Kit)
• This feature automatically switches the camera to parking mode when the vehicle’s engine turns off. It will return to normal recording when the engine starts again.
• The Gravity Sensing feature detects significant or sudden movement (like an impact). It will trigger an event recording. It is suggested to set “Gravity Sensing” to High sensitivity for Parking Mode Recording.
• **Note:** If you do not use the parking mode function, set the Gravity Sensing sensitivity to low to prevent normal videos from being locked and filling up the memory card.
Option 2: Motion Detection (with Rexing Intelligent Hardwire Kit)
• When the sensor detects motion, the intelligent hardwire kit will power up the dash cam to record automatically until the motion is cleared.
Important: Do not enable the Parking Monitor function in the settings without a smart hardwire kit connected, as it may cause a malfunction. If using the Intelligent Hardwire Kit for motion detection, ensure the Parking Mode setting on the dash cam is turned off.
How do I connect the REXING V1-4K to my phone via Wi-Fi?
Step 1: With your dash cam powered on, press and hold the **REC** navigation button to enable the Wi-Fi function. The Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password will be displayed on the screen.
Step 2: On your mobile device, navigate to your Wi-Fi settings. Find and connect to the dash cam’s Wi-Fi network (e.g., B50D_bb92). Enter the password shown on the dash cam screen when prompted.
Step 3: Open the Rexing Connect app on your mobile device. If a notification appears stating the Wi-Fi network does not have internet access, choose the option to “Keep Trying Wi-Fi”.
Step 4: In the app, tap the “Connect” button to link to your dash cam. This will allow you to access a live view and view or download your recordings.
Note: To disconnect the Wi-Fi, press and hold the **REC** button for 2 seconds.
How does the optional GPS Logger work with the REXING V1-4K?
• The dash cam will automatically search for the GPS signal once it’s connected to a power source.
• On the screen, the GPS icon will be blue while searching and will turn green once a signal is found and locked.
• You can access this GPS data when playing back your recordings using the GPS Video player software (available for Windows and Mac).
• To change the speed unit (e.g., MPH or KM/H), press the **MENU** button twice to enter the System Settings, navigate to the “GPS Speed Unit” setting, and select your preference.
