The buttons and ports on the REXING V1-4K have the following functions:

1. **Micro SD Card Slot:** For inserting the memory card.

2. **Power Button:** Turns the device on or off.

3. **Reset Button:** Resets the device to factory settings.

4. **Menu Button:** Enters the settings menu.

5. **Mode Button:** Switches between Video, Photo, and Playback modes.

6. **REC (Record) Button:** Starts or stops recording; also used for navigation in menus.

7. **OK (Confirm) Button:** Confirms selections and starts/stops recording.

8. **MIC Button:** Toggles the microphone on/off; also used for navigation in menus.

9. **Screen Button:** Turns the screen display on or off.

10. **Mini-USB Port:** For power connection and data transfer.

11. **GPS Logger Port:** For connecting the optional GPS logger.

12. **Rear Camera Port:** Not supported on this model.

13. **Lens Angle Adjustment:** Allows you to adjust the vertical angle of the lens.

The LED indicator on the REXING V1-4K shows the following statuses:

• **Flashing Red:** The camera is currently recording video.

• **Solid Blue:** The device is powered on or is currently charging.

• **WDR Mode (On):** Wide Dynamic Range is active.

• **GPS Signal:** Shows connection status (not connected or locked).

• **Recording Time (Current Clip):** Displays the duration of the current video clip.

• **Recording (On):** A red dot indicates that the device is recording.

• **Video Resolution:** Shows the current recording resolution (e.g., 2160p).

• **Video Mode:** Indicates the camera is in video recording mode.

• **Parking Mode (On):** Shows that Parking Mode is enabled.

• **Loop Recording Time:** Displays the set length for loop recording clips.

• **G-Sensor Sensitivity Level:** Shows the current sensitivity setting for the G-Sensor.

• **Exposure Value:** Displays the current exposure setting.

• **Memory Card (Inserted):** Indicates a memory card is present.

• **MIC (Off/On):** Shows if the microphone is muted or active.

• **Current Date/Time:** Displays the date (DD/MM/YYYY) and time (24H).

• **Battery Charging:** Indicates the battery is charging.

• **Plate Number:** Displays the set license plate number.

Follow these steps to install the REXING V1-4K:

Step 1: Install the Electrostatic Sticker

1. Thoroughly clean your windshield with water or alcohol and wipe it dry with a clean cloth.

2. Carefully peel the protective film off the electrostatic sticker.

3. Attach the sticker to the windshield, ideally behind the rear-view mirror to avoid obstructing your view.

Step 2: Install the Dash Cam Mount

1. Place the 3M adhesive onto the mount plate.

2. Ensure the T-interlock on the mount is oriented correctly and firmly press the mount onto the electrostatic sticker on the windshield.

Step 3: Mount the Camera and Connect Power

1. Place the camera onto the mount.

2. Carefully route the power cable around the windscreen, tucking it under the trim.

3. Plug the Car Charger Cable into a 12V DC power outlet or your car’s cigarette lighter.

4. Connect the USB end of the charger to the Mini-USB port on the dash cam. The camera will auto-start recording once powered on.

The REXING V1-4K dash cam accepts Class 10 / UHS-1 or higher Micro SD memory cards with a capacity of up to 512GB. You must insert a memory card to begin recording.

Before inserting or removing a memory card, ensure the REXING V1-4K is powered down.

• **To insert:** Gently push the memory card into the Micro SD card slot until you hear a click.

• **To remove:** Gently push the memory card inwards, and the spring release mechanism will push the card out for you to retrieve.

Before using a new memory card, you must format it within the camera. Always back up important data before formatting.

1. Make sure your memory card is inserted into the camera.

2. Turn on the device by connecting it to a power source.

3. Press the **REC** button to stop recording if it has started automatically.

4. Press the **MENU** button twice to enter the System Setup Menu.

5. Use the **REC** and **MIC** buttons to navigate to the “Format” option.

6. Press the **OK** button to select it.

7. You will see a confirmation prompt. Select “OK” and press the **OK** button again to confirm and begin formatting the card.

• **Automatic Power:** The REXING V1-4K is designed to power on automatically when it is plugged into a 12V accessory socket or cigarette lighter that receives a charge (i.e., when the vehicle is started). It will also start recording automatically.

• **Manual Power:** To turn the device on manually, press and hold the **POWER** button until the welcome screen appears.

1. Power the camera on.

2. If the camera is recording (blinking red light), press the **REC** button to stop recording.

3. Press the **MODE** button to toggle between Video, Photo, and Playback modes.

4. To access the settings for a specific mode, press the **MENU** button **once** while in that mode.

5. To access the general System Settings, press the **MENU** button **twice** from any mode.

The REXING V1-4K is designed to start recording automatically when the device receives power (e.g., when you start your car). The LED light and a red dot on the screen will blink to indicate that the device is recording. To manually stop a recording, press the **REC** button.

1. Stop any active recording by pressing the **REC** button.

2. Press the **MODE** button to toggle to the Playback mode.

3. Use the **REC** and **MIC** buttons to navigate through your saved videos.

4. Press the **OK** button to play the selected video.

5. During playback, you can use the **OK** button to pause/resume, the **MIC** button to fast forward, and the **REC** button to rewind.

There are two ways to play back videos on a computer:

Using an SD Card Adapter:

1. Power off the dash cam and remove the Micro SD card.

2. Insert the card into an SD card adapter and plug the adapter into your computer.

3. Navigate to the device drive. The videos are stored in the folder path: \CARDV\MOVIE.

4. Select a video to play.

Using a USB Cable:

1. Connect the REXING V1-4K to your computer using a Mini USB cable.

2. After the device powers on, its screen will show options. Press the **OK** button to select “Mass Storage”.

3. On your computer, navigate to the device drive. The videos are stored at: \CARDV\MOVIE.

4. Select a video to play.

The Parking Monitor provides surveillance on your parked vehicle and requires a separately sold hardwire kit for continuous power.

Option 1: Vibration Detection (with Smart Hardwire Kit)

• This feature automatically switches the camera to parking mode when the vehicle’s engine turns off. It will return to normal recording when the engine starts again.

• The Gravity Sensing feature detects significant or sudden movement (like an impact). It will trigger an event recording. It is suggested to set “Gravity Sensing” to High sensitivity for Parking Mode Recording.

• **Note:** If you do not use the parking mode function, set the Gravity Sensing sensitivity to low to prevent normal videos from being locked and filling up the memory card.

Option 2: Motion Detection (with Rexing Intelligent Hardwire Kit)

• When the sensor detects motion, the intelligent hardwire kit will power up the dash cam to record automatically until the motion is cleared.

Important: Do not enable the Parking Monitor function in the settings without a smart hardwire kit connected, as it may cause a malfunction. If using the Intelligent Hardwire Kit for motion detection, ensure the Parking Mode setting on the dash cam is turned off.

Step 1: With your dash cam powered on, press and hold the **REC** navigation button to enable the Wi-Fi function. The Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password will be displayed on the screen.

Step 2: On your mobile device, navigate to your Wi-Fi settings. Find and connect to the dash cam’s Wi-Fi network (e.g., B50D_bb92). Enter the password shown on the dash cam screen when prompted.

Step 3: Open the Rexing Connect app on your mobile device. If a notification appears stating the Wi-Fi network does not have internet access, choose the option to “Keep Trying Wi-Fi”.

Step 4: In the app, tap the “Connect” button to link to your dash cam. This will allow you to access a live view and view or download your recordings.

Note: To disconnect the Wi-Fi, press and hold the **REC** button for 2 seconds.

The GPS Logger must be purchased separately. When connected to the camera, it will record your vehicle’s speed and location as you drive.

• The dash cam will automatically search for the GPS signal once it’s connected to a power source.

• On the screen, the GPS icon will be blue while searching and will turn green once a signal is found and locked.

• You can access this GPS data when playing back your recordings using the GPS Video player software (available for Windows and Mac).

• To change the speed unit (e.g., MPH or KM/H), press the **MENU** button twice to enter the System Settings, navigate to the “GPS Speed Unit” setting, and select your preference.

1. If the camera is recording, press the **REC** button to stop it.

2. Press the **MODE** button to toggle to the Photo Mode.

3. Press the **OK** button to take a single photo.

1. Stop video recording by pressing the **REC** button.

2. Press the **MODE** button to toggle to the Playback Mode.

3. Use the **REC** and **MIC** buttons to navigate through your saved files until you find the photo you wish to view.

1. Stop video recording and toggle to the Playback Mode.

2. Navigate through your files to the photo (or video) you want to delete.

3. Press the **MENU** button once to open the playback options.

4. Toggle to the “Delete” option and press **OK**.

5. You can then choose to “Delete Current” to erase only the selected file, or “Delete All” to erase all files. Press the **OK** button to confirm your choice.
