Before you use the kettle for the first time, remove the base from inside, then fill the kettle and boil the water, and empty the water.

This kettle comes with a washable filter. To remove the filter, open the lid and slide the filter upwards. Rinse under clear clean water and return into the kettle.

To operate the kettle, simply plug the base into your wall socket and switch on. Fill the kettle up to the desired water level, place it onto the base. Then push the switch (located on the rear back side of the kettle) into the down position. The Red light will come on indicating that the water is now boiling. The kettle will automatically switch off when the water is boiled.

Before cleaning, always disconnect from the mains and allow the kettle to cool.

To clean the exterior, wipe with a soft damp cloth and then wipe dry with a soft cloth.

Do not use scouring creams or powders.

Remove stubborn stains with a cloth moistened with mild liquid detergent.

From time to time, depending on the nature of your water supply, you may need to clean off the scale on the inside of the Jug Kettle. You will have to do this in areas where the water is “Hard Water”. We recommend that you use a well-known branded DESCALER for this. Please follow the descaler instructions when doing this.
