Before you use the kettle for the first time, remove the base from inside, then fill the kettle and boil the water, and empty the water.

This kettle comes with a washable filter. To remove the filter, open the lid and slide the filter upwards. Rinse under clear clean water and return into the kettle.

To operate the kettle, simply plug the base into your wall socket and switch on. Fill the kettle up to the desired water level, place it onto the base. Then push the switch (located on the rear back side of the kettle) into the down position. The Red light will come on indicating that the water is now boiling. The kettle will automatically switch off when the water is boiled.
