Positioning on a surface:

Place the soundbar on a level surface directly below your TV.

Wall Mounting (Optional):

It is suggested to install your TV before wall mounting the soundbar.

1. If your TV is already mounted, position the soundbar 50mm (2.0 inches) below the bottom of the TV.

2. If you are mounting the soundbar first, you need to drill two parallel holes in the wall. The distance between these holes should be 500mm (19.6 inches).

3. The drill bit size should be between Ø 3-8 mm, depending on your wall type.

4. Secure the wall mount brackets to the wall using the appropriate screws and anchors for your wall type.

5. Hang the soundbar onto the mounted brackets.

1. The soundbar and wireless subwoofer connect automatically. Place the subwoofer near the soundbar.

2. Connect the supplied power cord to the AC in port on the back of the soundbar and the other end to a power outlet.

3. Connect the power cord for the wireless subwoofer to a power outlet.

4. Insert the two included AAA batteries into the remote control, observing the correct polarity.

5. Press the power button on the remote control or on top of the soundbar to turn the unit on.

You can hear audio from your TV through the PHILIPS TAB6100 using one of the following connection methods:

HDMI eARC: Connect an HDMI cable from the soundbar’s **HDMI OUT (eARC)** port to the **HDMI (eARC)** input on your TV. This is typically the preferred method.

OPTICAL: Connect an optical cable from the soundbar’s **Optical in** port to the **Optical out** port on your TV.

AUX (3.5mm):

• **Headphone Out:** Connect a 3.5mm audio cable from the soundbar’s **Audio in** port to your TV’s headphone jack.

• **AUDIO L/R OUT:** Connect a 3.5mm to RCA L/R cable from the soundbar’s **Audio in** port to your TV’s red and white **AUDIO OUT** ports.

After connecting a device, you need to select the matching input source on the soundbar.

1. Press the **INPUT/SOURCE** button on the remote control repeatedly to cycle through the available sources.

2. An LED indicator on the front of the soundbar will light up to show the currently selected source:

• **HDMI eARC:** Select for audio from an HDMI eARC connection.

• **OPT:** Select for audio from an Optical connection.

• **AUX:** Select for audio from a 3.5mm Audio in connection.

• **BT:** Select for audio from a Bluetooth device.

• **USB:** Select for audio from a connected USB drive.

To play from an MP3 player or device with a headphone jack:

1. Connect a 3.5mm audio cable from the device’s headphone output to the **Audio in** port on the back of the soundbar.

2. Press the source button on the remote to select the **AUX** source.

To play from a USB drive:

1. Insert your USB drive into the **USB** port on the back of the soundbar.

2. Press the source button on the remote to select the **USB** source.

1. Press the Bluetooth source button on the remote control to select Bluetooth mode. The **BT** indicator on the soundbar will begin to flash white.

2. On your smartphone, tablet, or other device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.

3. Select **”Philips TAB6100″** from the list on your device to initiate pairing.

4. Once the connection is successful, the **BT** indicator on the soundbar will turn solid white.

5. You can now play audio from your connected device through the soundbar.

The Bluetooth connection works within a range of up to 10 meters (32.8 feet).

To change the sound profile, you can cycle through the preset equalizer (EQ) modes.

1. Press the **EQ** button on the remote control.

2. Each press will switch to the next EQ mode: Entertainment, Music, Dialogue, and Original.

3. The pattern of the five LED indicator lights on the front of the soundbar will change to show which mode is selected.

The pattern of the five lit LEDs on the front panel indicates the selected Equalizer (EQ) mode. The modes are as follows:
