How do I load presets onto the OUTLINE L3000 amplifier?
The OUTLINE L3000 offers a speaker preset library. The speaker presets can be loaded by connecting the amplifier to a PC running ArmoniaPlus through the remote control port of the amplifier (ethernet/USB, depending on the model).
ArmoniaPlus is the default configuring interface that allows system setting and customization of L3000 amplifiers.
What information is provided for each preset in the OUTLINE L3000 guide?
The following data is given for each preset:
Preset: Indicates the preset name.
Application: Defines the preset contour or the use the preset is designed for.
Channels to be used: Channels of the amplifier to be used according to the given preset, to optimize the performance of the connected loudspeaker.
Maximum number of elements per channel / per amplifier: Shows the maximum number of loudspeakers that it is possible to link for each amp and per each channel (according to the “channels to be used” table).
Exceeding the maximum number of elements per channel or amp can result in damage to the amplifier and the speakers.
What do the application codes in the OUTLINE L3000 preset guide mean?
The application codes define the preset’s intended use:
FR – full range – maximum frequency extension of the loudspeaker.
HP – high pass – high pass version of the loudspeaker.
SUB – subwoofer – subwoofer application of the loudspeaker.
SUBH – subwoofer high – subwoofer application with higher low-pass filter, to be combined with loudspeakers that don’t have a low-end frequency response.
INFRA – infra application of the subwoofer.
Rear Cardio – rear subwoofer in cardioid configuration (the number 2+1 or similar means how many subwoofers must be front oriented vs how many of them must be rear oriented).
BASS – bass application of the loudspeaker.
STEREO SYSTEM – preset configurations for stereo systems composed of 2 satellites in stereo configuration and 1 subwoofer in mono configuration.
What is the standard output channel configuration for the OUTLINE L3000 amplifier?
The output scheme of the L3000 amplifier in standard configuration is as follows:
Channels A, B, C, and D are single-ended channels.
Channels E and F are channels in Bridge mode.
The input routing is as follows:
IN 1 is routed to channels A, B, and E.
IN 2 is routed to channels C, D, and F.
How can I use the OUTLINE L3000 presets in Mono?
The presets are designed for two signal inputs. If you would like to use them in Mono, go to the ‘Scheme’ page inside the amplifier on Armonía Plus and click the ‘MonoMix’ button.
