The specifications for the OLIGHT BATON 4 are as follows:

*All data are tested per ANSI/PLATO FL 1-2019 standard in Olight’s lab for reference.

Before first use, please remove the insulating film from the lens.

To charge your OLIGHT BATON 4, connect the magnetic charging cable to a power source and attach it to the tail of the flashlight. The indicator light on the charging cable will show the charging status:

• Red: Charging

• Green: Charging Completed

To turn the flashlight on or off, single click the side switch. When the flashlight is turned on, it will revert to the memorized brightness level (High, Medium, and Low modes will be memorized when turned off. Turbo mode will be memorized as High mode. High mode itself will last for 1 minute before switching to Medium mode. Strobe mode cannot be memorized).

To lock the switch: When the flashlight is off, press and hold the side switch (for about 2 seconds) until the moonlight mode turns on and then off. The flashlight is now in lockout mode. In lockout mode, the remaining battery level without turning on the flashlight can be briefly checked. Press the switch for more than 1 second to unlock the button and activate Moonlight mode.

To unlock the switch: Press and hold the switch for over one second until the flashlight turns on in moonlight mode. The flashlight is now unlocked.

When the flashlight is off, press and hold the button for 1 to 2 seconds to access Moonlight mode. If the last used mode was Moonlight mode, simply press the switch.

Quickly double press the side switch to enter Turbo mode. Double press again to return to the previous mode. If the memorized mode was High or Medium, the output will be Medium; if the memorized mode was Low or Moonlight, the output will be the memorized mode.

Quickly triple press the side switch to enter Strobe mode. To quit this mode, single click or press and hold the switch.

When the flashlight is on, press and hold the button. It will automatically cycle through Low, Medium, and High modes, starting from the present brightness level. Release the button to select the desired brightness level. (Note: Moonlight and Turbo mode are not in the automatic cycle).

The flashlight can be set to automatically turn off after a long (9 minutes) or short (3 minutes) period.

When the flashlight is on, double press and hold the side switch to access the timer setting. One flash indicates the short period (3 minutes), while two flashes indicate the long period (9 minutes).

After the timer is turned on, the flashlight will automatically turn off when the time is up. In the timer setting, double press and hold twice for the long period. To switch between the two periods, double press and hold during a time period. When reactivating the Auto Shut-off function, the previous timing setting will be used.

The indicators on the OLIGHT BATON 4 show both the brightness and battery level.

Brightness Level Indicator:

An indicator displays the current brightness level (High, Medium, Low/Moonlight). If the brightness level indicator fluctuates, it means that the current brightness level is at least 40% or higher.

Battery Level Indicator:

When the flashlight is turned on, the indicator will display the battery level for 2 seconds.

• Green: > 60%

• Red: 10% – 60%

• Blinking Red: < 10%
