For first-time use with your NOTHING CMF BUDS 2 PLUS B184, place the earbuds inside the charging case. Open the case and press the setup button for 2 seconds to start the pairing process. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on on your device.

To connect your NOTHING CMF BUDS 2 PLUS B184 to a different device, place the earbuds in the charging case and open the case. Press the setup button for 2 seconds until the indicator light blinks white. You can then select the Buds in your new device’s Bluetooth settings.

To reset your NOTHING CMF BUDS 2 PLUS B184 to factory settings, place the buds into the charging case with the lid open. Press and hold the setup button on the case for 10 seconds until the indicator light blinks red.

The touch controls for the earbud are as follows:

Double-tap: Skip forward, or answer/hang up a call.

Triple-tap: Skip back, or reject an incoming call.

Tap and hold the touch area: Switch between Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency Mode.

With the Nothing X app, you can get the most out of your NOTHING CMF BUDS 2 PLUS B184. You can customize equaliser settings, assign gesture control, and update firmware. Optional functions you can assign include:

• Play/pause

• Skip back

• Skip forward

• Switch noise cancellation mode

• Volume up & down

• Activate voice assistant

When you place the earbuds in your ear, music will play. Your music will automatically pause when you put the earbuds back in their case. The default settings will require you to manually play the music from your device after this action.

Earbuds: Place the earbuds in the charging case and close the case lid to charge.

Charging case: To charge the case, close it and connect it to a power supply using the provided cable. If the indicator light on the case is solid red, the case is charging. If it is solid white, the case is fully charged.

The indicator light on the charging case indicates the power level:

• White: Battery level is higher than 30%.

• Red: Battery level is less than 30%.

If the earbuds are in the case, the indicator light will flash a colour that corresponds to the battery level of the earbuds. If you remove one earbud, the light will show the battery level of the earbud remaining in the case.

You can also check the battery level of the device in the Nothing X app or in the Bluetooth settings of your device, such as in Quick Settings or its drop-down notification menu.

Choose the ear tips in the appropriate size for optimal comfort and sound quality. The NOTHING CMF BUDS 2 PLUS B184 earbuds come fitted with M size tips. L and S size tips are also provided.

To turn on the LDAC codec, which is available for Android devices only, you must enable it on both your smartphone and your earbuds.

1. Make sure your earbuds are connected. Launch the Nothing X app and connect to your device. When the earbuds are connected, activate “High-quality audio” in the Nothing X app via Device Settings.

2. On your Android device, go to Bluetooth settings to have an LDAC option or enter the developer options to enable the LDAC codec. When the Bluetooth music level appears, select the LDAC codec.

Once the setting is complete in both the Nothing X app and your Android device, high-resolution audio will be transmitted automatically with the LDAC codec.
